Pros

It's amazing how Akero doubles up as both a CRM system and a mailing tool.

Cons

I find that the mailing part of it is very limited. Or I have to pay a lot more. Designing mailings is very basic, so I do this in another system and import it into Akero.

4 years of using Akero

Pros

Using Akero is so so easy for me. I HAVE trained several staff members on it, and it's always a hit. The user interface is intuitive, catering to both tech-savvy and non-techy folks. I am impressed by the continuous updates, adding new features that enhance versatility and usability. My favorite part? The Forms section rocks! Akero offers endless possibilities for crafting and tailoring lead capture forms. I particularly love the option for a 'slim' embed, providing just the essentials and leaving styling up to me, seamlessly integrating with any website. Akero is packed with such gems, making it suitable for any scenario.

Cons

For the most part, I find Akero very adaptable and it covers all aspects of our business needs. One feature I would love to see is better integration between Akero Labs and the Mailer from Akero. Currently, I can connect the two, but the process is not very intuitive and takes quite a bit of setup. There are also additional improvements I did love to see, such as more features in workflow creation. Right now, after I set up filters, there are two branch splits, if the condition is true and if the condition is false. I would LOVE to see multiple filters that all trigger different actions in the system. I think that would cut down the number of workflows I did have to create. There are also some very small features missing from Akero that would be really useful, for example, a "confirm email" field that just checks that whatever is in that box matches what's in the email field. Luckily, recently a new Akero roadmap has been launched where I can submit ideas, and that in itself has been huge.

Akero has been essential to the large task we have of managing our student helper cohort.

Pros

Managing our Student Helper cohort across multiple campuses and outreach activities has been a bit complex. We needed a CRM system that could keep up, and Akero stepped in. Despite its primary focus not being our specific task, the support from the Akero team has been invaluable. The platform's design and usability are top-notch.

Cons

Since this software is a CRM and not a casual worker management tool, there are obviously some limitations to what I can do. I hope to work with the Akero team to see how we can adapt together to create a platform that truly works for us.

Essential part of our event planning

Pros

Akero is our go-to for lead generation and nurturing for college events. Its tracking and reporting features are invaluable for showcasing marketing campaign success to senior management. While we currently use a different email marketing platform, we're intrigued by Akero's expanding functionality, potentially consolidating all our activities under one roof.

Cons

The fact that I now have to pay for it when previously it was free of charge for charities and educational institutions is a downside for me.

Review of Akero for BCA

Pros

Akero makes my life easier, especially for managing our Open Events. Extracting data to a spreadsheet is a breeze, saving us heaps of time.

Cons

The only cons about this software for me are that when my leads come through via the Akero landing page, they sometimes are split into two sections,'all leads' and then 'to review', rather than one place.

Pros

I have been using Akero for a year now, and it's been a reliable tool for building campaign landing pages and capturing leads. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try.

Very good CRM system

Pros

Akero is a stellar CRM system, offering comprehensive campaign oversight and lead management. The landing page tool stands out for its versatility, ease of use, and scope for creativity.

There are also some very small features missing from Akero that would be really useful for me, for example, a "confirm email" field.

Great CRM and marketing suite

Pros

Itis a fantastic CRM solution at a reasonable price. It's instrumental in aligning sales and marketing efforts, facilitating better campaign tracking and ROI analysis. The support from the Akero team has been stellar, guiding us through complex workflows to maximize the software's potential. Highly recommended.

Cons

Usually, this is not a problem for me, but sometimes I have a mailing with a sign-up deadline and when people are late and don't receive the email right away, they cannot sign up. It is difficult for me to show when this happens because the system shows the email is sent and it just takes some time to receive it.
