Asana is ideal for smaller companies. It has the ability to break down the complex tasks into chunks. One can assign priority to a task, create workflow and receive notification on task completion.

Cons

Shifting tasks to other groups is bit tricky matter.

Their developers team create new ideas. Their ideas was turned into a prototype. It was converted into a complete solution.

The software runs slow at times.

I dont like that with Asana to use a template youve built, you must first establish a new project inside a team, then drag the tasks to an existing project and remove the new project you just created.

It has all the necessary features for effective task list and backlog management. Time tracking is a valuable addition when utilized properly. The combination of various tools for comprehensive project management with different views is impressive especially for beginners.

Cons

If you already use tools like Confluence or Jira in a different environment it may not make sense to adopt Asana. It may not easily integrate with your team's existing workflow.

“Good UX and Useful custom rules”

Pros

The user experience (UX) is great following web conventions and being intuitive. Custom rules are highly useful. Instead of dragging and dropping finished tasks simply marking them as "done" automatically moves them to the "Done" column using the custom tool.

Cons

One aspect I find inconvenient about Asana is the need to take multiple steps to view subtasks on the board. If these steps are not followed subtasks are only visible within the parent task and not on the board. It would be more user-friendly to have a seamless way of displaying subtasks on the board.

Pros

Asana is incredibly useful for organizing tasks and projects particularly in collaborative environments. It is easy to use and allows for adding notes links comments and documents. The free version offers numerous features.

Cons

Asana's strength lies in its ability to serve as a collaborative platform for teams. However it is dependent on consistent usage by all team members to be effective. Since some of my team members do not use Asana I have recently explored alternative tools with scheduling integration to better plan projects and tasks as this is a limitation of Asana.

The ability to create boards and communicate within the platform itself is highly enjoyable. It consolidates all task communications in one place.

There have been instances where tasks assigned to specific boards go missing.

The interface could be more intuitive as it's difficult to remember certain functions like creating new sections or viewing completed tasks.

The Board view is my preferred way to look at this tool. It also tracks every update on the platform which is great.

The features of Asana are not very intuitive requiring training to become proficient. It may be complicated for some users.

The application's user interface and design are the best features. They are visually appealing and make tasks easier to perform.

While using the tool I didn't encounter any difficulties except for the pricing which could have been more competitive.

I haven't found a seamless way to copy multiple tasks from one project to another.

Asana is great overall although initial integration with our customized tool was challenging. However the tech support team provided assistance to resolve the issue.

Asana is an excellent project management tool. We've used it for 6 months and it has been effective for scheduling monitoring and prioritization. The interface is simple and it provides multiple task management options making it user-friendly.

The pricing of Asana is slightly higher compared to other competitors in the market. Additionally in terms of features there are other project management tools available that offer a broader range of functionalities at a similar price point.

Asana is an exceptional tool integrated into our professional project management software. It simplifies task setup with predefined process templates. The free version offers many features. With just a few clicks I can create a collaborative workspace for my project team. I can create multiple projects list tasks and visualize them in different modes (list kanban chronology calendar etc.). The software allows for reminders alerts and notifications for deadlines task completion and status changes. As an administrator I can easily automate recurring tasks such as adding new subscribers when task status or priority changes. What I appreciate most about Asana is its seamless integration of audio and video communication tools enabling me to conduct daily meetings with my colleagues and track project progress effectively.

The instant messaging system in Asana can lead to excessive email alerts in your inbox.

Setting up and using it is absolutely easy. Employees of all ages and technical abilities can utilize it without any issues.
