“Amazing project tracking hub
Pros
We've been using Asana as a calendar to keep track of projects and get a clear view of how different teams are moving work forward. Lately, we've also started leaning on it more for task management and it's been really useful for that as well.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to the task management side. The dashboard hasn't felt quite as simple as some of Asana's other features but overall it's still an excellent platform once you get comfortable with the interface.

“fantastic task tracking and reporting
Pros
Keeping up with day-to-day tasks and assigned projects is much more manageable now. The interface is very simple to use and I can stay organized by integrating tasks from my calendar and email. Reporting is also really helpful because I can quickly check my progress and compare where I stand with others on my team.
Cons
Honestly I can't think of anything I dislike about Asana right now. I've used it at two different companies over the years and it has continued to evolve along with technology.

“clean interface and useful dashboards
Pros
Working with this software has been a really positive experience because the interface is clean and simple to navigate which makes staying on top of tasks much more manageable. It does a good job of helping you track deadlines and collaborate with teammates without everything becoming overwhelming, thanks to its flexible project views and strong team management features. The dashboards and reports are also very helpful when you want a quick snapshot of progress and overall status.
Cons
One downside is that many of the more advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans so the cost can add up quickly especially for larger teams. While the reporting and automation tools are useful, they can still feel somewhat limited when you compare them with more specialized platforms. It can also be challenging to manage very complex projects that involve a lot of dependencies.

“Helpful reminders and teamwork
Pros
Checking things off keeps me motivated especially since I'm very progress-driven. I can be pretty forgetful too so having a to-do list there helps me stay on track every day without covering my computer in sticky notes and cluttering up my workspace. The reminders are really useful because I can get notifications daily or just open the app on my phone anytime to make sure I'm not missing a time-sensitive task. A lot of the time, I even look at my list for the next day so I can mentally prepare for what's coming. Another part I really enjoy is the collaboration side of Asana. Whether it's a group assignment, a task passed to someone else or something assigned by a manager, it's simple to follow progress and see what's been completed. It helps everyone stay informed in an online workspace where communication can otherwise fall through.
Cons
It's very easy to forget those entirely because even though there is a section for "no due date" tasks, so it doesn't really prompt you to go back and review them just in case something important is sitting there. I'd honestly like to see an occasional pop-up reminding you that you have overdue unchecked no-date tasks. It can also start to feel complicated pretty quickly. There are features I still avoid using because I don't fully understand them and I worry I'll mess something up. For instance, I don't personally create team projects for collaboration. That said I can tell they'd probably be very useful if I took the time to learn them. From the receiving side of those shared projects, the experience has been pretty solid. In the end though, Asana can feel a bit like learning the quirks of a new computer.. you have to know where to look to find projects and shared tasks that don't automatically show up on your task calendar.

“Simple task tracking wins
Pros
Asana feels very user-friendly and the interface was simple enough to make organizing projects and managing tasks simple. It has solid task-tracking capabilities, clear ways to structure work across teams and useful reporting tools that make it easier to see progress, timelines and upcoming deadlines.
Cons
Some of the more advanced features and reporting options are only available on higher-tier plans. Handling a large number of tasks can also require some extra organization although the platform's usability and strong core features still make it a very capable tool.

“task dependencies boost planning
Pros
One thing it really does well is task dependencies. They make it much easier to map out complicated project workflows and see clearly how one task affects the next. That visibility has noticeably improved the way we plan projects and helped us spot bottlenecks before they turn into bigger problems.
Cons
Pricing is noticeably steeper than competitors like Monday.com when you compare similar features. On top of that, not having built-in email integration is pretty frustrating since being able to send tasks or updates directly from Asana without switching platforms would make a big difference.

“Powerful goal tracking platform
Pros
After trying several project management tools, we chose this software two years ago for our continuous improvement team projects. It separated itself from the others by letting us track tasks all the way up to the objective and strategy level which makes it possible to connect projects directly to business goals and monitor their progress clearly. The desktop app is user-friendly and the dashboards can be customized to follow objectives, progress and approvals. Given how much value it brings to our business and organization, Asana is priced extremely well.

“Best project organization tools
Pros
Keeping larger projects, tasks and assignments organized across different team members is much more manageable. It doesn't take long to learn and the platform is simple to edit and navigate once you get started. The non-profit discount is also a big plus since it helps lower our overhead costs and lets us put more funding toward our programs and the people we serve.
Cons
Something that would make it better is having more peer-to-peer ways to connect with other Asana users and learn practical tips for getting the most out of it especially in a non-profit setting. A lot of business-focused tools and services need adjustments to really fit non-profit organizations and that perspective usually isn't covered much in the Q&As or support materials.

I can also search by address later and quickly pull up previous repairs completed at that same location, along with the photos and details which is really useful.

Pros
Right away it felt like a feature-packed platform and honestly one of the strongest project management tools out there, both for team leads and for the people actually handling the day-to-day work. It does a really good job of keeping tasks organized, sharing progress updates and reporting on what the team is accomplishing.

Pros
Something that really stood out to me with Asana was how capable and flexible it is for tracking work. It helps a lot with organizing projects, assigning tasks, setting due dates and keeping up with progress as things move along in real time. Pros
Running my beauty coworking space has been really practical. It's especially helpful with part-time staff because I can assign tasks, follow progress and keep everything organized without needing constant back-and-forth. That cuts down a lot of the daily chaos. The part I appreciate most is how clear everything is: everyone knows what needs to be done and by when. It keeps the business structured even when the team isn't always on-site. Overall it's a simple and effective tool for managing small teams and flexible schedules.

“Free plan works
Pros
Running my podcast projects through Asana has been really useful. Sharing information with a colleague is incredibly simple which is something I absolutely need. The task tracking keeps me on a timeline that fits around my existing daily routine and since I juggle multiple overlapping projects, being able to keep them separated helps me get every detail finished on time. I also appreciate being able to leave weekends off since I only use it for work. I haven't had to contact customer support though I imagine they're fairly accessible if I ever need them. The free personal plan works well for me and I haven't felt any need to upgrade. That said larger teams could probably get a lot out of the Starter plan at $10.99 or the Advanced plan at $24.99 per month.

Cons
On mobile, the app gets painfully slow when attachments are large and it's basically unusable if you need to look at completed and active tasks at the same time because of how the filters work. Cons
Getting everyone fully comfortable with it took some time especially for team members who were newer to the platform. Setting up automations and dialing in the more advanced features also required a fairly big time investment.

“Best software
Pros
Having tasks, deadlines and ownership clearly laid out makes it much easier to stay on top of client progress and keep anything from slipping through the cracks.
Cons
Some of the more advanced features take more effort to set up than expected and support communication can feel a bit slow when it comes to workflow-related questions.

“most customizable and simple tool
Pros
Right away, Asana felt like the most customizable yet simple task management tool I've used. The workflows were logical and I never had to spend time figuring out some obscure custom feature. Everything just made sense and clicked naturally.
Cons
Compared with the other tools out there, I really don't have any complaints from an end-user perspective. I can't speak to pricing or the feature set from an adoption or purchasing standpoint though.

“assigning tasks and leaving feedback is simple
Pros
Assigning tasks to teammates and leaving feedback is very simple so everyone can see updates right away. It's also simple to adjust due dates and reassign responsibility when plans change.
Cons
The number of notifications can be overwhelming and can flood my inbox which makes it difficult to tell which ones actually matter.

“Visible progress
Pros
Keeping projects organized and visible in Asana is very simple. It makes it much easier to track progress and as long as statuses are kept up to date, there's almost no need to check in with direct reports just to ask where something stands.
Cons
It would be even more useful with an API feed or some stronger integration between systems. Although the platform is user-friendly, it still has a few limitations and quirks that can get in the way.

“customizable with cross-department collaboration
Pros
One thing that really works well with Asana is how customizable it is. Being able to tag tasks makes it much easier to organize work at a broader level and it also does a strong job of supporting collaboration across different departments.
Cons
At times, end users can still miss tasks or tags which can be frustrating. The timeline interface is also a bit confusing and because the platform can get pretty complex, there is definitely a learning curve for anyone who is not very tech-savvy. That said it can be simplified once you get used to it.

“clean colorful interface with unicorn animation!!
Pros
Right away, the interface feels clean, colorful and pleasant to work in. Putting together lists of data-cleaning steps is simple and the little unicorn animation that appears when I complete a task genuinely makes the experience more enjoyable.
Cons
A lot of useful features, like the timeline view, are locked behind the paid version. The email notifications can also get excessive at times and it is not the best option for handling complex technical documentation or tracking code.
