all in one platform!!

Pros

Having everything in Brandquad under one interface has been the biggest advantage for us. We first rolled out the PIM module and later, when we needed digital shelf analytics, we naturally considered their E-commerce Intelligence module too. It checked all the boxes for what we needed and the integration and onboarding felt much simpler since our team was already used to working with their PIM. Keeping all of this in a single platform has definitely helped us save both time and money.

Cons

One area that could be better is how release timelines and the product roadmap are communicated. With an enterprise-level solution, I'd expect visibility into upcoming releases several months ahead, along with clear documentation, so internal teams have enough time to prepare. I have been told they're already working on improving this, so I am hopeful it gets better.

powerful tool

Pros

What sets this platform apart from others I have used is that having PIM, DAM and ECI all in one fully scalable platform is a big advantage. The system is highly configurable and customizable and the interface is user-friendly which makes daily work much easier. Another thing I really appreciate is the excellent team behind it as they clearly know how to work together well and support the product effectively.

Cons

Becausethe platformincludes so many integrated features, it takes some time to fully understand how everything connects internally and what all the possibilities are. There is definitely a lot to learn at the beginning, although that's probably true for other software in this category as well.

centralized analytics that deliver

Pros

Running with a smaller team, having automatic performance insights across different websites right at our fingertips has been a real time-saver. The analytics go beyond what we could realistically pull together manually and the data is refreshed regularly which makes it even more valuable. One of the most useful parts has been the comparative information on competitors products. Having everything brought together in one centralized dashboard has made a big difference for us. In e-commerce, strong data analytics are essential and this platform has helped us cover that need well. On top of that the team has been very responsive and supportive whenever we've needed them.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see is industry-level benchmarking for product categories. From time to time, we've also run into data quality issues. To be fair, the team has always responded quickly and taken care of it but it's still something I'd prefer not to deal with at all. They've told me this is a high-priority area they're actively working on, so we'll see how that progresses. I'd also appreciate having more configuration options available on our side instead of needing to rely onthe platform'steam for so many adjustments.

partnership driven team

Pros

Working with the BrandQuad team is very collaborative because they are open, responsive and genuinely focused on building a real partnership with their clients. The ECI platform is also being continuously improved which shows they are committed to delivering the best possible experience.

Cons

The ECI tool still lacks a few important ecommerce metrics and features.

Real team time saver

Pros

Brandquad has been a real time-saver for our team. The onboarding process helped us quickly understand the platform, spot the fastest wins, get our products listed online and improve our e-shelf performance.

Cons

Itincludes a lot of modules, so it takes a little more time to fully understand everything.

Faster product listing together

Pros

Since we started using BrandQuad, getting our products listed across platforms has become much faster and handling product cards in the PIM module is a lot more convenient. The system makes it possible to keep all media files in one place and lets the whole team work on preparing product cards together. On top of that the ECI analytics module gives us daily information which helps us make decisions much more quickly.

Cons

The only downside was that we had to train the staff and help them get used to working withthe system.

provide full transparency

Pros

Having everything in one place makes a big difference as we don't need some overly complicated synchronization setup between PIM, DAM, content distribution, online shelf tracking, KPI dashboards and the rest. Plus it gives full end to end transparency across the entire content workflow in the organization. If an image or product name is wrong at an eRetailer, BrandQuad lets you trace the whole chain clearly from the internal product card to the content update or upload with date, version and user, then the approver with date and user and finally the content syndication with date and user. The same visibility applies to innovations, relaunches and any change in product information. Another strong point is that the platform has kept improving continuously since we first started using BrandQuad in 2016 at Unilever.

Cons

eCommerce is a very dynamic channel andthis softwareis an IT tool that naturally has to keep evolving along with business needs, so improvement is ongoing on both sides. That said, the platform'sclient and analytics teams have been careful in reviewing all negative feedback and usually come back with a reasonable response to the business need behind it.

easy customization

Pros

One thing that really sets BrandQuad apart is how flexible the customization is. I honestly don't know another agency platform with comparable functionality that can adapt settings this well to match different client requirements. The analytics module is also excellent especially for the price. It also includes useful features that noticeably speed up listing work, like autofilling retailers listing forms and automatically naming images based on the client's requirements. The account management is also impressive even in urgent situations, you can call or message your manager late in the evening, even around 10 pm and still get a response.

Cons

One drawback is the unexpected releases. You can come in on Monday ready to work and realize the interface was changed on Sunday without warning. Another issue is that support managers often explain things with too much technical terminology, so it's not always clear what exactly they mean.

provide quick insights

Pros

Being able to bring all my e-commerce data together in one place is a huge advantage. It's fast when retailer partners receive all the information especially thanks to the API and the ECI e-commerce data analysis module gives really useful market insights.

Cons

At times, I wish there were more details about newly released features, sincethe systemis updated often and having clearer information would help me use those updates more effectively.

Genuine quick customer commitment

Pros

The team is genuinely committed to customer satisfaction and always responds quickly when needed.

Cons

When a feature isn't available yet, we're able to discuss it with them and they keep us updated on whether it's planned in the product roadmap which often turns a frustrating point into something positive.

offer constant support

Pros

Whenever we need something adjusted, the team customizes the system for us very quickly. Communication with them is constant and the support team answers our requests almost immediately.

Cons

You cannot always expect a ready-made solution right out of the box, so setup can take a day or two. That said, it actually is like a plus becausethe productends up covering all of our needs.

Customer focused tool

Pros

BrandQuad is current and very customer-focused. Compared with other competing tools, it offers a wider range of functionality at a lower price and the communication from the team has been efficient throughout.

Cons

Everything has been positive up to this point. The only thing I'd suggest is improvingtheirvisibility in the market.
