“From all the apps I've tried for task and project management, Checkvist is by far the best!
Pros
Checkvist has amazing keyboard support, making it perfect for the divide-and-conquer approach. It's full of useful productivity features, with a progress counter showing task completion. Setting up lists, tasks, and sub-tasks is easy, allowing focus on tasks rather than convoluted methodologies. Markdown support is a standout feature.
Cons
Despite having a mobile version of the website, there's no native mobile app, and time tracking support is lacking. While there are many Chrome browser add-ons, similar support for Firefox is missing.

“I've been using it for several years and couldn't manage without it.
Pros
Need to create a checklist? Use Checkvist. Need access to key reference information from any computer? Use Checkvist. It's simple, convenient, and always available.
Cons
I only use the basic features and have no complaints. The 100-character minimum requirement is excessive. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs.

“I love this app. It is one of my must-have tools for work and personal projects.
Pros
Keyboard-driven, simplicity, markdown syntax support, infinite tree depth, focused on selected sub-trees, and API are among its many features.
Cons
Currently, there's no official mobile app, and it should perform better with unstable internet connections. I can't think of any other significant issues.

“I am a long time user of Checkvist (since 2011). I use primarily the web version.
Pros
The clean interface is a favorite, drawing me to it initially and keeping me as a user. The option to add color is crucial for a visual person. Other similar "clean" to-do list options lacked this feature, leading to immediate abandonment.
Cons
I mainly use this on the web and find the app more hassle than it's worth. While I appreciate the clean look, the app version goes a bit too far, making it challenging to figure out how to perform tasks.

“Checkvist really help in increasing the productivity.
Pros
Checkvist significantly enhances productivity with various functionalities and shortcuts. Its simple interface and lack of unnecessary fancy elements make it stand out among many to-do list websites.
Cons
It took some time to get used to the shortcuts, indicating a learning curve. However, for something great, spending time learning is necessary. It's not a con, but there's still room for improvement in Checkvist.

“As simple working with Pen & Paper and all the benefits of a great cloud based app
Pros
The user-friendly interface is simple and intuitive. Keyboard commands enhance efficiency, facilitating easy bulk operations. The site's speed allows seamless handling of complex lists, ensuring quick retrieval of information. The website's potential applications are limited only by the user's creativity.
Cons
The mobile application necessitates refinement to deliver a user experience akin to the full site version.

“My go to outliner
Pros
Natural utilization with shortcuts and movements is swift. While the interface appears simple, it conceals a wealth of functionality. Custom CSS options enable personalized appearance.
Cons
The mobile support is subpar, and potential enhancement may accompany the implementation of PWA. The absence of iOS integration, including notifications and fast input, is a notable drawback.

“Phenomenal keyboard driven outliner / todo list
Pros
As someone disorganized in a demanding field, effective task management is essential. Checkvist's unparalleled flexibility and keyboard-driven approach distinguish it. Assigning dates or searching for high-priority tasks is swift, and the outlining capabilities enhance versatility. The company's commitment to customer feedback-driven innovation and rapid responses makes it stand out.
Cons
While Checkvist exhibits few drawbacks, an advancement in the mobile app's development would be beneficial. However, this is not a dealbreaker for me, given my primary usage on a laptop/desktop.

Pros
The value lies in comprehensive keyboard shortcuts, the ability to create unlimited sub-lists, and customization options with markdown and tags.

“I looked for an online outline-based list/ thought organization tool a long time! Checkvist rocks!
Pros
Speed is a highlight, facilitated by keyboard shortcuts, multilevel, and multi-list support. Rapid expansion, contraction, moving, indenting, and outdenting changes reflect instantly across devices.
Cons
More formatting options and the ability to attach images and link externally are necessary. The mobile experience feels somewhat cumbersome.

“An essential part of my daily working life
Pros
Outlining proves to be an effective organizational tool, and Checkvist excels in its implementation. The addition of keyboard shortcuts enhances the overall speed of the tool.
Cons
Enhanced support for mobile usage would be advantageous. While viewing lists is commendable, updating or creating them can be somewhat awkward. However, considering its role as a work tool, creating lists on a phone is seldom a requirement.

“Checkvist is totally AWESOME
Pros
Unmatched desktop browser functionality makes Checkvist superior for task management. The evolving mobile app is transforming into an excellent progressive web app. Excellent support is complemented by its usefulness in managing meetings and agendas.
Cons
The global search index experiences delays in updating, and there's a need for more robust filtering logic, particularly concerning tags. Additionally, sorting by modified date is a requisite.

Pros
Clean, simple, and straightforward, Checkvist excels in outlining, surpassing alternatives like MS Word or Google Docs.
