“The most convenient keyboard-centric task and outline manager
Pros
The significance of a straightforward keyboard-centric user experience cannot be overstated it's the standout element. Executing any action swiftly with shortcuts is crucial for efficiently adding and editing details during task planning. It feels like seamless text editing within a hierarchical structure. I've experimented with several popular services and apps like Things, Todoist, Trello, Ticktick, and most lack such a convenient UX. They may look appealing, but any change takes more time.
Cons
Decision-making is challenging due to the absence of fancy features, but this lack of embellishments is actually a positive aspect.

“Outstanding Hierarchical List Software, Task Manager
Pros
The feature set is extensive, but delving into many features is unnecessary to appreciate the power of this flexible list manager. The developers are highly responsive.
Cons
The mobile application lacks the user-friendliness of the keyboard-centric web-based platform.

“Great outliner and task tool
Pros
Despite advice suggesting simplicity for to-do lists with fewer than 800 items, I prefer working with lists in an easy and convenient manner, primarily using the keyboard. Checkvist fits perfectly for this purpose.
Cons
The lack of a mobile app is a slight drawback, though not a significant one.

“The best task management tool I've ever used!
Pros
The "do tasks" view helps me organize multiple concurrent projects and ruthlessly prioritize, focusing on the right tasks each day.
Cons
Having a native mobile app would be fantastic, but the web client is acceptable.

“Swiss Army Knife for Small / Medium businesses
Pros
Adaptable and great for innovators and free thinkers.
Cons
We desire multiple instances per account and the ability to configure multipurpose structures. For example, in one use case, we utilize Checkvist as an outliner, and having a purposed configurator would be beneficial for setting up tasks as features and creating visual differentiation between use cases.

“THE fastest, easiest, most flexible task organization tool I've ever used
Pros
Incredibly easy to use, especially for touch-typists. The intuitive, keyboard-based interface allows me to use Checkvist my way, instantly changing my organization system. It's smart software, anticipating my needs when it's most useful.
Cons
There's nothing I dislike about Checkvist. My only wish is for it to automatically resolve Google Docs filenames from links or link dated tasks to my Google Calendar. Although I've occasionally wished for a table view, I wouldn't want it if it hinders my keyboard-based workflow.

“Checkvist
Pros
Flexibility is key it allows tracking tasks and projects in a way that best fits your needs. It's also an outstanding tool for brainstorming and outlining ideas.
Cons
Using it on small-screen mobile devices is challenging. A dedicated app with a good GUI would greatly enhance its usability.

“Outlining and More
Pros
Outstanding outlining, overall flexibility, and power. It's inexpensive with flexibility in exporting/importing information. Sharing/access is simple, working seamlessly in a browser and on mobile devices.
Cons
More flexibility with printing is desired, and additional powerful logical expressions for filtering would be beneficial. Large lists can be sluggish, particularly on mobile.

“Best Task Management Software
Pros
The number of features doesn't solely judge task management software. Checkvist has stayed with me more than any other software it tends to grow on you.
Cons
No specific features bother me, but there's a minor issue with how notes on a task are presented; a better layout, such as on the right side, would be appreciated.

“Not just a task manager - a hub for all my information
Pros
Highly flexible, easy to use initially, and packed with increasingly important features as data size and complexity grow. Excellent tools for import/export, with few glitches fixed almost instantly.
Cons
The app version for cell phones lacks the richness of features found in the full web version. It's suitable for basic lists and reminders but falls short for more complex task reordering and management.

“Unbelievably powerful
Pros
With so many features, there's nothing it doesn't do that we need. Regular improvements are released.
Cons
Due to the numerous features, there's a learning curve, but once you find what you need, it's fine. Better Android/iOS access would be beneficial, although I understand it's not a priority.

“Easily keep track of everything in your life!
Pros
Being keyboard-centric provides a fast interface, and its best features make Checkvist one of the best tools for organizing large amounts of data. Moving between lists is quick, search capability is rapid, and attachments, notes, and unlimited hierarchy enhance its usability.
Cons
The only drawback is the absence of native alerts for scheduled tasks, but the integration with Google Calendar serves as a suitable workaround.

“An Easy Way to Create Order in Your Life
Pros
An affordable, user-friendly, responsive, and trustworthy solution for prioritizing and managing time wisely. It offers a cool and reasonable solution for smart task management, creating logical to-do lists with numbering, categorizing, ordering, and reordering tasks. It's an amazing, applicable, and appealing tool.
Cons
The brand's logo looks great as a tab or bookmark in the Chromium browser but seems odd as the brand name in the top left corner of the interface. Overall, no annoying or displeasing options or functions have been found.

“Use it every day to organise my work
Pros
Using keywords to manage the application makes it fast to use. The mobile version is handy, and cut and paste between lists works well.
Cons
The mobile version is simplistic, suitable for viewing lists or marking tasks as complete. However, building a list/outline from scratch takes time. It complements the excellent desktop version rather than being the primary tool.

“A simple, straightforward checklisting program
Pros
Used for a large freelance client, it's super-simple and straightforward. Not hard to learn, even for non-technical users, with enough features for stronger users.
Cons
There's very little to dislike. While more features would be welcome, the simplicity and ease of use are appreciated.

“I've really enjoyed this as an alternative to workflowy
Pros
Keyboard shortcuts, allowing control without the mouse, and the ability to create multiple outlines, are appreciated.
Cons
The interface appears slightly clunky. I would appreciate the ability to theme the interface and sync with Dropbox.

“Checkvist is my go to for projects and to do lists
Pros
No other online tool allowed creating to-do lists in an outline format with the ability to nest items. The keyboard shortcuts are awesome, saving time between mouse and keyboard transitions.
Cons
The mobile interface is not ideal. Having a standalone app developed by Checkvist, instead of a third party, would be preferable.

“AWESOME!!!
Pros
Excellent! The semi-VIM-like control is easy to adapt to, and the UI is never laggy/unresponsive. It's handy for managing even the biggest of lists. The clean UI without clutter and readily available help is appreciated.
Cons
It's hard to pinpoint, but the only drawback is the auto-listing feature, which doesn't prompt the user for choices before itemizing.
