“Good M&A organizing Software

The pre-loaded lists and task organization features are great for making choices and setting up task schedules.

Cons

As a new user, I am still struggling to figure everything out. It's frustrating that I can't track contacts or follow up prior to engaging them in a potential deal.

Being able to securely preview documents without having to download them has been incredibly helpful especially when managing deals that involve multiple parties during diligence.

It was simple to use overall but it would be useful to have a feature that shows which files have already been viewed or downloaded. As at times, I ended up clicking around trying to remember what I had already opened.

Once you get familiar with the features, it is very easy to use. The initial setup was handled by Atlas Technical Consultants Inc. And I must say they would be the best ones to ask for detailed feedback on the data room's usability, download process and related functions.

Downloading files is a real headache. As the zipped downloads are often impossible to unzip because the file paths end up being too long and it does not provide any way to shorten or trim the file names.

I really do not have any complaints. Because the features offered are pretty much in line with other deal sites and the layout looks modern without feeling outdated.

The document upload and download process is not the best. Aside from that, it is a very powerful platform but the price is definitely high compared with other competing options.

Being able to tag documents to specific requests has been a big plus. One file can be uploaded to the Dealroom and then reused across multiple requests which is really good. The drag and drop upload also makes adding documents very simple.
