“The timesheet software that is not a spreadsheet”
Pros
I believe that Dovico captures everything relevant to a consulting engineering company regarding time and expenses. I also like that supporting documents can be uploaded to back up claims, which elevates it from ordinary timesheet software to a truly practical tool. The pie charts are particularly useful, giving me the added advantage of evaluating where most time is spent, and I can drill down into the details with ease.
Cons
At times I find it a bit difficult to get support online, but as soon as I send an email to the support team, help comes through. I'm not sure what can be done to make it easier to get help online.

“We have gotten spoiled!”
Pros
Without a doubt, the best thing about this software for me is the reports. Sometimes, we have 50 active billable clients, and Dovico provides the reports I need to ensure they all get billed properly. We used the locally hosted platform for five or six years before switching to the Dovico-hosted version. Having Dovico host the software has been a huge plus because it allows our employees to log their hours while working in the field.
Cons
The only complaint I have, and "complaint" is stronger than necessary, is the price increases. I've shopped around and found cheaper services but have not found anything that even comes close to Dovico's reports. I'm spoiled and gladly pay my annual subscription!

Pros
This software is very smooth to use and the level of customization that's possible.
Cons
It only has two levels of activities: Project and Tasks. In some cases, I could use a third level, as this would reduce the number of items in tasks that are not really tasks. The tool could also be used for planning purposes but lacks some reporting in that area (monthly time allocation-staff vs availability).

It is very smooth ans easy to use, requiring only a one-hour startup training for new users.
Cons
Being powerful, it requires some adjustments to find the right setup . Once I found the correct setup and working methodology, it became easy to use.

Pros
This application is easy to use, and the mobile app is practical when I need to validate timesheets.
Cons

“Good solution but it could be improved :)”
Pros
Dovico is meeting my needs for reporting and invoicing our services to our customers.
Cons
At this point, I am using two solutions to manage our support engineers' time. One of them is Dovico, where they register the time they spend for our customers, and another is MS SharePoint, where we create a schedule for them to know where they have to be in the next days. I would love to use the same application for both needs, but unfortunately, Dovico is not providing the right solution for that. My colleague, who is in charge of scheduling our resources, discussed with somebody from your support, and they couldn't find a solution.

Pros
I consider it easy to use for creating modules and adding employees, and it's easy to customize.
Cons
The biggest issue I have is that every month I run a report of timesheets that need paying, which could be backdated months. In order to flag which payments were already made in the past, I have to go into each entry on each employee's calendar and tick it off one by one. This takes hours to do, and it would be nice if I could more easily mark or tick them off.

The budget feature is least easy to use and needs development. The report builder needs development, particularly to be able to present actual and budgets properly. Reports need an invoice-like feature to send to accounts packages.

Pros
Having timesheet and expense tracking in one place is amazing, the multi-currency and conversion options, ease of implementation and use, and great support. It's a really good 80/20 solution.
Cons
The desktop interface could use an update. All the functionality is good, but the views and buttons beyond the pull-down menus have a "legacy" software look and usability. It's not a big deal, but new users are not sure what is a button and what is a label. BIG ASK: Is it possible to implement more than one-time entry for the same task on the same day?

I consider the technical support great and love the fact that it's accessible from anywhere.
Cons
The software graphics have not been updated ever. I still need a more user-friendly dashboard like the new iCloud QuickBooks website. Archiving data from past employees should be left on project files; sometimes, I need to access this to compare profitability on past projects versus new ones. More inquiry needs to be done on reports needed by users.

I believe it's easy to use, and being internet-based is great for employees out of the office.
Cons
I recommend a couple of changes. First, once a timesheet project is clicked, it would be great if it can be automatically minimized and separated out of the internet software to its own link and not left as a tab. Any given day, many other tabs are opened at the same time, and sometimes a quick close of the internet engine closes what I want to close but inadvertently closes the Dovico timesheet as well. This is and should be a background program for most people, not a primary program, so although you may think it needs to be front and center, I prefer it to be in the background minimized automatically on its own internet connection and expanded when I click on it. I think this was how it was when it was a program run on the computer, not internet-based. Second, I would like the list of projects to have the option to list in the opposite order, from top to bottom. Over the years, I have accumulated many project numbers, and when adding new and working on more recent project numbers, I have to always scroll down the page to the bottom, which is a pain. It should be like Outlook, where you can simply switch the list up or down. Thanks.

Pros
It is very user-friendly and easy to teach new employees how to use. The layout of the timesheet is very self-explanatory. I also like that I can log in from anywhere to enter my time or do maintenance work, and the mobile app is a plus.
Cons
I feel restricted as far as using the program with QuickBooks payroll portion. Rather than setting up the software as it is meant to be used (meaning to use it for tracking the actual job task), I have to use the "Tasks" to correspond with the employee's title in order for payroll to submit correctly.

Cons
