Pros
I really like how flexible the tool is and how simple the setup process is. Also the interface is pretty user friendly and it is easy to implement. And I have to mention that the support and attention from the Edison365 team were outstanding.
Cons
We are having trouble pulling reports from it because the data structure is hard to understand. Additionally we lack the portfolio functionality to manage different projects and programs properly. We know the tool is still being developed and we have high expectations for the upcoming features.

Pros
What I love the most is its comprehensive approach to integrating all the phases, its ease of use, simple configuration and the great team behind the tool.
Cons
One thing I noticed is that the tool is missing its own reporting module and there are no connections to other reporting tools.

Pros
One thing I really like about this software is the excellent customer service they provide. They were able to handle all my questions and concerns and are very knowledgeable about their product.
Cons
It takes time to get familiar with the software. I am not sure how others feel but that is my experience. Overall there is nothing that needs to change with the software just keep improving it and stay ahead with the rapidly evolving tech.

Pros
Edison365 allows our team to fully customize the platform to suit our unique needs and workflows. The user experience is smooth and feedback has shown that it is more user friendly and easier to navigate than the previous tool we used. Even the integration with PowerBI and the reporting features have been extremely helpful providing us with a clear portfolio view of our activities and enabling leadership to make informed decisions based on the team's capacity.
Cons
Some built-in configuration items have caused confusion internally due to our specific terminology like BusinessCase as a module. Plus the absence of a weekly resource allocation table for projects has also been a challenge leading us to cumbersome workarounds. Additionally not all team members have access to PowerBI so approval processes are needed before they can access the dashboard outputs. An Export function in each module would help a lot in resolving these issues.

“Amazing value for the cost
Pros
I really appreciate how well rounded the platform is. Once the backend is set up for admins it becomes easy for users to navigate making the adoption process smoother. Many other tools we considered focused mostly on idea submission and organization which is fine for basic users. However this platform does a much better job of understanding the needs of admins and challenge owners, simplifying the backend processes and making it efficient to take an idea from submission to execution. One feature that stands out and is rare in other platforms is the ability to save an idea as a draft. So I would say this is perfect if you want to quickly jot down an idea but do not have time to finish it right away.
Cons
It does not allow us to toggle categories on or off for different types of challenges. All categories are available company-wide which can be a problem when challenges focus on very different subject areas. Keep in mind that categories are a mandatory field for idea submissions so they cannot be entirely disabled at that level. While the reporting functionality is good any custom edits to the Edison Ideation platform like adding new fields for submissions require custom updates to the PowerBI report template. Also it does not update automatically. Adding custom fields can be tricky if you are not already familiar with PowerBI. The triage feature is useful but has limitations. And you can assign different metrics to different challenge types but those metrics are available at every stage of the challenge and they cannot be toggled on or off for specific stages.
