“Beginner-friendly for FF&E, buggy with rigid billing

It's very beginner-friendly and was the perfect solution for us when we needed to manage our own FF&E.

Cons

It's too buggy and their customer service is hard to get ahold of. The price felt a little high for what we needed and the billing department was completely inflexible. Canceling was difficult and they wouldn't offer any kind of partial refund.

I had hoped it would fully deliver on its promise of automated spec writing but that turned out to be a bit of wishful thinking.

Doesn't have a real product catalog or database, it's essentially just a spreadsheet which is very limiting.

“Powerful and flexible for years

I've been using Fohlio for almost five years now and it's hands-down the most powerful tool I've come across. The team is constantly rolling out great new features. What I love is how simple it is... I was able to teach myself how to use it. On the rare occasion I did get stuck, their support team was always there to help right away. The customer service is just as excellent as the product itself. It's an absolute must-have for architects, interior designers and anyone in construction. It's so incredibly flexible that I'm even planning to use it with a gift curator !! You can adapt it for almost any task that involves storing data and images. If you're still juggling multiple spreadsheets to get your work done you seriously need Fohlio.

“Features are okay but glitchy with slow, unhelpful support

Overall, I think the features are okay.

Cons

The software is constantly glitching. I get random duplicate products that pop in and out, and it often doesn't save my text or will just delete it. Creating proposals is a nightmare because the pricing frequently shows zeros instead of the correct amounts. When these issues happen, it takes hours to get help from support, which completely kills our productivity. On top of that, they lock new search features behind a more expensive plan, forcing you to pay more after you've already invested hundreds. My honest advice is to save your money and look elsewhere.
