“I like it overall”
Pros
One of the best parts of it is being able to learn directly from the source code available there. It also makes collaboration with other developers really convenient which is extremely valuable for me as a developer.
Cons
I think it would be better if the 1 GB limit on source code repositories didn't exist.

“a favorite for dev teams”
Pros
A simple yet capable platform for developers and teams. It comes with plenty of useful features, including project task management, action pipelines and static deployment.
Cons
At times organizing projects can be frustrating. You can set up an organization but there's no way to create repository groups within it so every repo ends up sitting at the root level.

“Incredible code tracking tools”
Pros
From my experience with it, the tool handles code tracking source code management and monitoring private projects really well.

The downside is the extra cost for add-on plugins like Github Pilot which feels too expensive.

“versatile coding platform”
Pros
It offers a lot of tools and a programming platform where I can work with different languages like Python, Java, C++ and more. The tool also makes it possible to connect with many people and creates a really good environment for working together. I personally enjoy using both the app and the website because it gives me everything I need without any extra cost. Also, I can access it from any device and it doesn't take much time to finish my programming work.
Cons
Something I'd still want from it is a better variety of additional tools.

“Good issue tracking”
Pros
One thing that really works well in it is its strong issue tracking system. Teams can open, assign and prioritize issues without much hassle which makes task management and progress tracking a lot more organized and helps prevent things from getting missed. It also helps that issues can be connected to specific commits or branches so conversations have the right context behind them.
Cons
It can still take some time to get used to specially for project managers who are new to version control and collaborative development. Concepts such as branches, pull requests and merges are not always immediately clear so beginners may find the platform a bit challenging at first.

Pros
It lets you build and test code before deployment which is really helpful. It also makes publishing and rolling out software updates very convenient. Also, other people can easily see what your project is about, follow its progress and share useful feedback.
Cons

“collaboration and endless code”
Pros
Github offers an unlimited amount of source code and shared projects, with new contributions coming in all the time. Collaboration is really at the heart of it and people are generally very kind and open when it comes to sharing their work.
Cons
The part I don't like is the pricing because I feel all versions should be available for free.

“fantastic for team game development”
Pros
Working on a student video game project with my team, it ended up being a huge help. The interface feels welcoming and simple, whether you're new to coding or already have experience. It gave us a full collaborative space to build, test and deploy our code in one place. We could track changes in real time and having version control for our final builds made a big difference. For game development teams source control tools like Github are really important when it comes to working together efficiently and staying organized.
Cons
Free version is useful but the paid plans can get pretty expensive if you want access to the complete set of features.

“best choice for code collaboration”
Pros
Having all my source code in one central place makes project management much more organized and sharing it with others through the repository collaborators feature works really well. I've used it on projects of all sizes and it still feels like the best git repository platform out there.
Cons

“Wonderful for coding teams”
Pros
It feels like a best friend for anyone who writes code. It helps me keep my projects organized, collaborate with teammates and share what I build with the rest of the world. With Github, I can use Git version control to track changes, fix issues and try out new ideas without losing control of the project. Also, it makes me feel connected to a huge developer community where I can learn, get inspired and contribute as well.
Cons
Of course, it isn't perfect. Sometimes I still make a mess of Git commands or run into version conflicts that take time to sort out. There are also features that rely on using the terminal and that part doesn't feel very user-friendly. Also, it has limits on the number and size of files you can upload which can become a real issue for certain kinds of projects.
