“Great for collaboration and branching”
Pros
It lets us create repositories and share them with other people, while Git works as the tool to clone and work with them. Being able to share code, keep everyone on the same version and manage open branches are some of the most useful and valuable features of the platform.
Cons
There's also an Issues feature which developers use as cards to track pending changes that need to be handled by the assigned person. It's definitely a useful feature but it still has some bugs, like not letting us manually close issues by dragging and dropping them from "Pending" to "Solved."

“I liked it”
Pros
Working with it makes collaboration between developers much more practical, while also making source code sharing and management efficient. It also provides full version tracking which is really useful when there's a need to go back to an earlier version of the code.
Cons
One downside is that private repositories on it require a paid subscription which can be inconvenient for small projects or independent developers.

“It keeps teams in sync”
Pros
It has honestly been a huge source of motivation for me as a software engineer specially because of its remote repository feature. It lets multiple developers collaborate and work on the same project at the same time which really helps teams deliver strong results.
Cons
While it does provide free repositories for public projects some of its more advanced features still require a paid plan.

“Good collaboration and security”
Pros
Right from the start, the strong data security stands out. It keeps assignments accessible and well organized for users. The advanced Github tracking is especially useful because it clearly shows project progress and updates. Multiple developers can work together and stay synced on the same project without much trouble. It also comes with plenty of features, including learning tools that are helpful for educational purposes. Also, it has a strong impact in business use cases. The tutorial support is another plus since users can rely on it for guidance and help.
Cons
The file upload size limit is one drawback.

“Github Actions and search save the day!”
Pros
Github Actions has been a huge help and the search works really well. It's an excellent CI/CD tool and cloning
Cons
The downside is that there are occasional downtime issues and there's really no workaround when that happens. I've also run into some dependency-related problems.

“Liked this tool”
Pros
Working on a project with several people involved is something I really appreciate. It makes communication much simpler and helps everyone exchange current ideas and experience while writing code. Also, It offers an enormous amount of open-source code that can also be used in commercial projects. I'm also genuinely excited about the AI features that can generate ready-to-use code.
Cons
My only frustrating moments with It came during setup specially when configuring things and creating new dashboards. I had a hard time locating the options and solutions I needed in the interface. Getting started on my own took a lot of support although in the end it was definitely worth the effort.

“collaboration and version control done right”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about It is being able to store and keep all my projects organized in one place specially with the option to share them and collaborate on software projects with others. Teamwork is also much more manageable thanks to the constant updates and the version control system.
Cons
I'm not too fond of how repositories are structured since there are only a few sublevels available which forces you into a very deep organization.

“free hosting and project tracking”
Pros
Really useful for storing your projects and keeping everything organized in one place. As a student, having It Pages available to host small websites for free is a big plus.
Cons
Getting started can feel a bit confusing because there are so many different sections to figure out. Beginners also need to learn the basic commands for committing code before it starts to feel comfortable.

“huge code library for students”
Pros
Over the past few years, I've used It in my robotics class and the biggest advantage has been the massive library of code available for students to use in their projects. It gives them a way to search for work related to what they're building and it also lets them bring in code they've written themselves and integrate it into their own projects.
Cons
The only real downside that comes to mind was when I was first getting started with It. There was definitely a steep learning curve in figuring out everything the platform could do. After spending some time with it though, it turned into an amazing tool.

Pros
Using it feels very simple and the version control is excellent. It's simple to roll back changes and work on separate functions or pages together with someone else.
Cons
Merge errors can happen pretty quickly if you don't fully know what you're doing. When collaborating with new colleagues, they come up a lot and they can be difficult to fix.

“A lifesaver for developers!”
Pros
GitHub has been a lifesaver for developers for a long time. It's simple to pick up.. and your code stays safe in the repository. Even if something gets deleted from your local machine, it's still safe on the software. On top of that, it works really well for version control.
Cons
Up to this point, I haven't come across any drawbacks.
