“a proper tool”
Pros
It fits well across all kinds of projects and documents making it simple to manage files, store them properly and grant access only to specific users who need it.
Cons
As of yet, it has provided everything required for my project so I haven't run into any real issues.

“Version control is great”
Pros
Version control is easily my favorite part of it. It lets me monitor every change I make, along with updates from contributors and roll back to an earlier version anytime something goes wrong. That makes managing work feel incredibly efficient.
Cons
Uploading new projects on it feels like it could be simpler. A drag-and-drop option for newly uploaded files would make it much easier to organize everything into folders.

“changed our workflow for the better”
Pros
Back before I started using it, managing professional projects was a real headache. I had to manually save multiple copies of the same project every time I made a change which quickly became messy. Working with my university colleagues was also complicated especially when we needed to edit the same files together. It completely changed that for me by helping me keep my projects organized and making it simple to return to an older version whenever necessary.
Cons
At first, getting comfortable with it and learning the git commands took a bit of time. Still, I have to say the platform is extremely reliable especially with such a massive community supporting it.

“handy collaboration for projects”
Pros
It has been really practical and useful for what I need. It offers a very convenient way for multiple people to work on the same project at the same time while each person handles different parts of the original project.
Cons
Did not come across anything negative.. the software is accessible, simple to navigate and reasonably priced.

“excellent version control repository”
Pros
Really pleased with it.. it's a repository that lets you keep track of version changes in your projects and also manage updates or additions of new tools.
Cons
What I like least is that it's a paid service.

“quick project discovery”
Pros
What I appreciate most is how quickly you can find the kind of projects you're looking for.
Cons
At times, there are a lot of very similar projects which can make the distinction between them a bit unclear.

“easy to set up”
Pros
Getting started with it doesn't take much effort which is probably its biggest advantage. Even someone new to it, with only a basic understanding of actions like Clone or Push, can install it and begin working without much trouble. Another strong point is that It is owned by Microsoft so it works really well with Microsoft Visual Studio and other Microsoft tools.
Cons
A noticeable downside is that it still doesn't show sync status directly inside Microsoft File Explorer and that missing feature can be frustrating.

“fantastic result”
Pros
As a developer, this platform has been really helpful for sharing code with other developers making it easier for everyone to contribute, collaborate and learn from each other.
Cons
One thing I didn't like was the restriction on private repositories under the free plan when I was using the free version.

“Trustable”
Pros
It handles a huge part of my development workflow, probably around eighty percent of it. The feature I use and appreciate most is the repository system. I can write my code, upload it to it and keep it stored there safely. After that, I'm able to keep working on the code, make updates and upload new versions whenever needed. If anything ever happens to my workstation, I can go back to my repository on it and pick up right where I stopped.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the software does take a bit of time at first. You need to invest some effort into learning the features and understanding how they can benefit you or your team.

“Great collaboration and integrations”
Pros
Right away, it stands out as a valuable platform for developers because of its strong version control, collaborative workflow, clean and user-friendly interface and the broad selection of integrations with other tools. It also offers both free and paid plans which makes it practical and accessible for everyone from solo developers to large organizations.
Cons
One area where it feels a bit limited is task management since it may not provide the same level of advanced project management features that some dedicated tools offer. Even so, It is widely trusted and highly regarded and those limitations are usually far outweighed by the many advantages the platform brings.

“real-time visibility helps”
Pros
Using this software has been a huge plus for us. It supports a lot of the other work I handle, saves me a noticeable amount of time and benefits the whole organization. It also makes collaboration much better by giving us real-time data so we can clearly see our ongoing productivity and know exactly where we stand.
Cons
It would be even more useful if the platform could be accessed on other devices, such as mobile phones and still work offline.

“online editing and collaboration shine”
Pros
Being able to keep code files in one place and edit them directly online is something I really appreciate. The collaboration tools are excellent too, honestly a 10/10.
Cons
An issue I've run into is that when I upload a new project from my local computer using drag and drop, it doesn't bring over all the files.

“collaborative coding”
Pros
Feels pretty simple to set up and run someone else's code or start your own project from scratch. Git has been around forever and it is really the platform that made using it feel essential. One of the best parts is being able to browse interesting projects so easily and jump in to contribute to what other people are creating.
Cons
On the admin side though, it isn't all that intuitive. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve around managing private repositories and provisioning. I also wish webhooks and integrations with third-party build tools were simpler to set up.

“helpful collaboration for teams”
Pros
It makes it simple to manage projects and collaborate with teammates who are working on the same codebase. It's also beginner-friendly so learning how to use it doesn't take much time.
Cons
One concern is the possibility of data leaks since the code is hosted on an open-source cloud platform.

“Free and easy to handle”
Pros
One of the best parts is that it is free to use. Sure, there are paid options but the free version still includes a lot of premium-style features which is really valuable. Working with multiple developers on the same codebase becomes much more convenient and that collaboration aspect is a huge plus. I also appreciate that it lets you host a static website for free which is another really useful feature. Also, it offers many other tools and capabilities that make the platform even better to use.
Cons
After using it for more than two years, I honestly haven't come across any negatives. It has been a very positive experience the whole time.

“detailed commit history wins”
Pros
One thing that really works well is the detailed, well-organized commit history. It makes it simple to dig into changes either by repository or down to the individual file level.
Cons
A feature that still feels missing is a simple way to turn a branch into a new repository. Sometimes a branch grows enough that it really deserves to become its own repo. In the past, I had to rely on Git and manually adjust the commit history to make that happen. Having a button to convert a branch into a new repository would make that process much more efficient.

Pros
It opens up access to a wide variety of sample projects and I'd highly recommend it for project management. I was even referred to it while taking a JavaScript course which says a lot about how useful it is.
Cons
