“collaborative branching done right”
Pros
Being able to handle several projects at once is something I really value and within each one multiple people can work simultaneously on different branches and then bring everything together into a functional product.
Cons
At times, merging several branches can cause issues and synchronization problems do come up occasionally but the program includes solutions to help when that happens.

“Trustworthy tool”
Pros
It works smoothly with Git and deploying through it is very simple. It makes syncing code and tracking versions in the cloud really convenient so there's less worry about losing anything. Team collaboration is also very convenient on Github and it's even possible to host a personal website there.
Cons
It is available to everyone for free but the free plan does come with a few restrictions, such as limits on how many repositories you can use. They do offer several upgrade tiers so you can move to a premium plan that fits your needs.

Pros
Using this platform has been a really positive experience. It's user-friendly, comfortable to work with and it fits my career needs very well.
Cons
I haven't run into any real issues while using it. The software works well overall although I occasionally face internet-related problems at times. Aside from that, it has been a good platform.

“handy command line workflow”
Pros
Getting started with it is very simple and the command line integration is really useful.

GitHub's CLI integration is powerful and useful for managing repos but the underlying complexity of Git can make undoing mistakes a difficult process that often requires drastic measures

“team collaboration made simple”
Pros
Most of my use of the tool is for code repositories and documentation. It's a user-friendly platform that also helps make websites accessible to everyone through Github Pages. As a code hosting source, it lets several people work together across multiple files at the same time.
Cons
There are plenty of useful features available, such as private repositories but they aren't included for free.

“good for developers”
Pros
It feels just right to me for a few simple reasons.. it's simple, powerful and incredibly versatile. A big part of my work involves dealing with images all the time since I create code for microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi and sometimes even contribute to open-source projects for more complex applications. To be honest, there are moments when I have no clue where to begin or how to solve something but someone else usually already does and on it that help is only a click away.
Cons
My biggest issue is that this is a versatile platform for sharing code.. but the prevalence of private repositories can sometimes feel at odds with its original spirit of open collaboration.

“github fuels team growth”
Pros
From our early startup phase all the way through scaling, it has consistently given us the features and capabilities we needed to support the next stages of growth and improve collaboration across our SDLC.
Cons
Github Actions was the part we were least happy with. Since then though, it has expanded a lot in capability and once we added custom runners for the actions, everything started working together really well.
