“affordable hosting”

Pros

One of the best parts of It is being able to build a simple website without paying for hosting, as long as the domain is already covered. Connecting that domain to it is pretty simple too. It's also really useful for managing projects and sharing work with other people. Another feature I enjoy is cloning since I can pull something from someone else's work and then customize it to fit exactly what I need.

Cons

At times, the loading and update speeds can feel pretty slow although that's somewhat understandable for a free tool. Getting the most out of the platform also means having to dig fairly deep into coding.

One thing that could be better is the team side of it. It would help if collaborating and communicating within the team were a bit more simple.

There are so many free features available and this means I can do almost everything I need without paying anything which is a huge plus. The version control is also really strong and works very well.

I'd like to see the web browsing experience improved a bit since in some situations it doesn't feel very adaptive.

Really useful for our workflow especially with its cloud build integration. Dependabot is a big plus too since it helps us scan for vulnerabilities without adding extra hassle. My team can also build and test our LAN deployments across projects written in different programming languages which makes the platform very flexible for the way we work.

Cons

One thing that could definitely be improved is the way functions are labeled since that can be a bit unclear at times. The IDE features in the code editing workspace also feel somewhat limited compared to what they could offer.

Having a remote repository that authorized users can access is really helpful. It does a strong job with version control and creating multiple branches for pull requests is simple and works well.

Merge conflicts can be a bit complicated to deal with and the email web app could use a better view or interface for resolving them.

Getting started with it can be a little difficult for new users. There are a lot of features to learn so it takes time to catch up. It can also lead to conflicts sometimes when multiple people are working on the same project.

Keeping up with code changes is simple and working with other people, pulling code and even hosting pages all fit nicely into the workflow. It's very simple to understand once you get started and doesn't take much effort to set up. It's also really useful for comparing older versions and rolling back whenever you need to return to a previous state.

Cons

If you're brand new, there are still a handful of steps to learn before making that first commit. The commands can also be a little confusing at first and it may take some time for a beginner to get comfortable with them.

This platform has completely transformed my career and the amount of storage it offers is more than enough.

Cons

One downside is that getting in touch with third-party developers can be challenging and deployment is limited to web apps only, not microservices, APIs or similar services.
