Useful, but not the most user-friendly

Pros

It facilitates project tracking across the company, with quick assignment and detailed explanations, minimizing communication gaps.

Cons

It is not very user-friendly and requires time to learn. The layout can be messy, and I do not feel like I fully understand all the features.

basic and ugly

Pros

LiquidPlanner is stable, easier than email for tracking tasks, and allows me to mention team members in comments.

Cons

There are very few features, clients can not be set at the task level and there is no integration with services like Github for goal tracking. The UI is also subpar.

Extremely Robust Project Management Software

Pros

LiquidPlanner simplifies tracking multiple complex projects with customizable dashboards and robust reporting, despite an initial learning curve.

Cons

It has a steep learning curve; even after four years of use, my team is still discovering nuances and better ways to implement it.

Great but room to improve

Pros

Several aspects of LiquidPlanner impress me. From its overall project management capabilities to the range of hours for tasks and the ability to add custom fields, it significantly improves project scheduling.

Cons

While LiquidPlanner is good, it is not perfect. I wish the reports and analytics were more intuitive. Some issues were resolved with customer support, but others turned out to be impossible.

Cloud-based Project and Department Resources Management Tool of Choice

Pros

It has been our go-to project management software since 2016. It helped us manage hundreds of projects for multiple clients and internal projects.

Cons

It took us nearly a year to tailor the software to our unique needs. Initially, there was a lot of trial and error and we spent many hours with LiquidPlanner's tech support.

Great for Project Tracking

Pros

Tracking project hours, attaching images to notes, customizable dashboards, and sharing them with clients are all easily managed.

Cons

I wish there was a way to sort by activity more easily. Sometimes, I see an activity on a report that I do not recognize and I like to quickly see who logged their time using it.

Learning Curve

Pros

This software does everything we need it to do and offers remarkable flexibility for different project types.

Cons

Reporting feels a bit cumbersome, with various reports having different associated metrics. A 'wizard' tool to design reports or aid in selecting the best report type would be helpful.

LiquidPlanner by a Software Development Manager

Pros

It is easy to manage developer tasks and monitoring their weekly hours.

Cons

Some drop-down menus with minimal options take a while to load. Sometimes, it is a challenge to identify what's causing inaccuracies in project time estimates, and finding developer notes included with recorded hours can be difficult.

How Did We Function Before Liquid Planner

Pros

The accessibility of LiquidPlanner from anywhere is a huge plus. Whether traveling or working remotely, I can easily stay connected.

Cons

I wish our clients had access to the platform. It would be convenient if they could view documents and comments from our designers instead of us having to manually share them via email.
