frequent lagging issues

Pros

The communication is easy and it's great for tracking both time and project details.

Cons

It can be pretty slow, it doesn't handle different timezones well and it often glitches with comments and attachments, duplicating them randomly. There are also very few fields we can customize and some fields we don't need can't be removed.

Useful but has small annoyances

Pros

It's definitely helped us manage our workflows though I think a few of the processes could still be improved.

Cons

There are some small annoyances. Support isn't the easiest to get ahold of and you can't download multiple files at once unless they're in a zip folder. Getting in touch with the team can be a frustrating process.

Great for team accountability

Pros

Magnetic is a really useful tool for our marketing team. We can easily generate reports and share them with everyone in the agency. At any given moment, the whole team knows who's responsible for what on a project and all activity is tracked so leaders always know who is accountable.

Cons

Sometimes it seems like job bags haven't been saved properly but I think that might be a common issue with this type of software.

excellent for a unified job overview

Pros

I love having a complete, holistic view of all our active jobs and their different statuses in one place.

Cons

The number of email notifications we get for every little update on a job can be overwhelming.

Reliable tool!

Pros

It's a solid, reliable tool. It's easy to work with and getting new people onboarded and set up is simple.

Cons

keeps everything organized

Pros

Ive really enjoyed using Magnetic and it's been a huge help in my project management role. It's easy to use and keeps everything organized.

Cons

Honestly there aren't many downsides! I just wish it had a feature to create campaign calendars and visual project timelines.

Pros

The best part is that it's very user-friendly.

Cons

When we have a lot of files to download, it would be a big help to have a "download all" function. Also, when we create a brief, it would be great if it could auto-populate with info from when we first opened the job.

all-in-one tool!!

Pros

Everything is very clear. You can use the system for everything like accounting, jobs, cost estimates. It's a true all-in-one system.

Cons

When you modify an invoice, it re-lists it using the modification date which messes up the invoice number sequence and makes it hard to search for them in order.

Simplifies time tracking

Pros

As a user, it lets me focus on the work that needs to be done and then easily send completed tasks back to the account managers. We have a perfect record of all the work and when it was finished. Tracking time is simple, even for creatives who usually hate doing it.

Cons

The main issue is the lack of integration with other systems like our HR platform. I have to log my time twice, once in the HR system and once in Magnetic so the traffic manager can schedule properly.

Easy task management

Pros

It's easy to use and makes task management simple instead of overcomplicating it. That makes it easy to implement across the whole company.

Cons

My only regrets are that we didn't start using it sooner and that it relies heavily on an internet connection making it difficult to use offline.
