Cons

I am hoping for a feature that allows programming a repeating schedule. This is something that is not present yet. Also since I have a fixed weekly schedule, it would be convenient to block the calendar for a amount of time instead of doing it daily.

Pros

I love how effortless it is to create and edit maps. The ability to customize individual office spaces and seating charts really sets this product apart.

Cons

I would love to see additional desk and cubicle designs. it would be fantastic. and will go a step further by allowing reservations for cars and parking spots would elevate this product.

Setting up the product was not a problem at all. thanks to its seamless integration with Microsoft Azure. The Maptician team efficiently converted our office drawings into a usable format at a reasonable cost. Moreover my success manager has been excellent at keeping us informed about new features.

I would like to say that it will be great if Maptician had user and admin documentation, along with change logs that outline new features as they become available.

The integration with Outlook is fantastic. Whenever a reservation is made employees receive a calendar invite. It is convenient to receive a link for the Pre-Screen survey and we can assign specific seats to employees.

I am fairly new to the software and still struggling a bit with the Assignments and Map Editor features.

Integrating this product into our business has proved to be very beneficial. Especially with our employees on a hybrid schedule and limited space. The ability to reserve workspaces has greatly improved efficiency and productivity.

It would be convenient to have a feature where you can schedule recurring workdays instead of manually doing it every week. Additionally a diagram explaining the different seat types would be helpful as it can sometimes be confusing. Apart from that the service is easy to use especially on mobile devices.

As an admin for this software in our company, I sometimes find myself navigating to the wrong section. However once I locate the correct section and get the hang of it, it proves to be useful.

The analytics and reports can be a bit confusing.

There are too many advantages to list but some notable ones include the user-friendly interface, the mobile version for quick check-ins and the API connection to our Key-Card system for accurate presence reporting.

Working with the entire Maptician team has been outstanding. We chose their product to manage our office utilization during the COVID pandemic and it perfectly fulfilled our needs. From training to map creation and implementation, my experience was flawless. And I must say our decision to commit to this platform was the right one.

The main issue I have is that some features are hard to find. While I can perform most tasks I need, navigating to the right page isn't always as easy as it should be.

I absolutely loved all the mapping features. We utilized them to create our fire exit plan and various other things.

Maptician is impressively simple and easy to use. Having a site map of our office and access to staff photos showing where everyone is seated is fantastic. The searchable Directory/Occupants tab allows easy access to contact and user information, even for remote or dispersed colleagues. The "Bulletins" function for company wide announcements is also greatly appreciated. From an administrative standpoint, being able to preset the site layout for our staff minimizes confusion and streamlines functionality, especially during implementation.

Cons

One challenge with the software is when maps accidentally become locked and inaccessible to others. In our office, multiple administrators were designated and there was a day when I accidentally locked a map without closing it properly. As a result, the other admins couldn't make edits while I was away. However any minor issues I encountered were quickly resolved with the help of the Maptician support team.

Pros

Maptician is an affordable, intuitive and user friendly tool. The single sign-on feature makes it easy for our staff to use. Since adopting a hoteling office model our team members appreciate being able to see colleagues photos and know where they have reserved workspaces for the day. The customer support provided exceptional assistance in setting up the software according to our organization's specific needs, such as customizing the COVID pre screen visitor survey and modifying floor plans. Whenever our administrative team needed help, the customer support team was responsive and eager to assist.

Cons

Maptician can sometimes have bugs but the support team is always quick in addressing them. Certain functionalities like Outlook calendar integration could be smoother.

One thing I like to mention very firstly is that the Maptician teams dedication to our success is priceless. During the pandemic they supported us throughout the entire process, from map build out to implementing social distancing measures. They were very much open to brainstorming and even incorporated some of our recommendations to enhance their platform. If we ever encountered any issues, Maptician quickly resolved them. As we haven't faced many issues till this date but I believe if we ever encountered one the Maptician team will help us efficiently without stepping back.

Cons

Integrating Maptician with G-suite would surely make administrative tasks easier. Pulling reports can be confusing at times and a more intuitive data export option would be appreciated.

Pros

Maptician is very user friendly. Even though in the beginning you have to take training however once you do it becomes easy to use in no time. The Assignments and Map Editor sections of the application provide powerful features like social distancing halos, flexible seating schedules and scenarios. One of the best aspects of Maptician is its to-scale maps which are essential for proper distancing halos. The clean cut look of the application is visually appealing and complements its robust feature set.

Cons

Two areas that could be improved/enhanced come to mind are as followed. First, regarding reporting, having the option to download more drilldown dashboard reports to Excel would be ideal. Secondly in the Map Editor it would be helpful if lines could snap into exact right angles (e.g., 45, 90, 180, 270, and 360 degrees). But the good thing is that Maptician has been quick to make improvements whenever we suggest enhancements.

Pros

Implementing Maptician was a simple task. The software is intuitive for end users to find and reserve desks for hoteling and the design aspect makes it simple to match our floor layouts.

Cons

The shortcuts are designed for Windows keyboards but not Mac it is something that puts me in the minority. That is my only "complaint" and it is minor.

As early adopters of Maptician we have been pleased with its functionality. It allows us to create a hybrid environment with fixed locations and reservable hoteling stations for various team members.

We have to learn a lot about the software in the beginning but this is something we expected. So far the software has met our needs. It would be great if we could print a hard copy map for reference.
