simple project handling

Pros

Handling projects is pretty simple with this tool. It grasps what the project needs and examines the information you provide. The summaries it creates from that data have been very useful. It also makes presenting to clients much simpler. I think partnering with them is a smart move because it really simplifies managing work.

Cons

If they could lower the cost, a lot of smaller businesses would be able to take advantage of everything it offers.

Incredibly simple and adjustable

Pros

It's incredibly simple to operate, adjust and handle information. It's perfect for taking notes, mapping out a project or following customer details. I love how you can just type and press enter, drag and drop to rearrange items and all the different styling choices.

Cons

I truly can't think of anything the computer program lacks, at least for what I need it to do.

perfect for structuring thoughts

Pros

I love that I can jump straight into the program to sort out thoughts, details and information as it comes in. Being able to structure the data and zoom in or out on what's shared means I can go deep into specifics or give a high-level overview, depending on what's needed.

Cons

I'm not a big fan of the default color palette. I wish that was more flexible. Having color-coded sections in the timeline view would be very effective when sharing a large idea map.

Excellent for collaborative mapping

Pros

The ability to map out our ideas together during sessions. It's also been great for outlining long, multi-step procedures for our team.

Cons

outstanding tool!

Pros

Every part of it is excellent and the feature to save your work into other formats is perfect for making documents. Any more praise feels unnecessary but I need to fill the space!

Cons

I honestly can't come up with a single negative point! What's the point of adding more words when there's nothing bad to say?

Used for decades, no cons

Pros

I've used this product since it first came out almost two decades ago. I'm a huge fan and use it for everything from drafting business plans to organizing projects. I wouldn't want to work without it.

Cons

None...it's simply a brilliant product that makes my work easier and gets more done. I know that's not a 'con' but that's because there aren't any downsides to this fantastic tool.

useful for visual client mapping

Pros

We use it to map out complicated family wealth and trust setups for very affluent clients. It works well for this and our clients really like seeing everything presented visually.

Cons

I don't like having to use the side and bottom scroll bars to adjust what I see. I wish I could zoom in and out with the mouse wheel and click and drag to pan around the screen.

Quick logical real-time editing

Pros

The layout is both quick and logical enough for a group of people to edit together in real time. The link with Microsoft Office makes it faster to take the content and use it elsewhere.

Cons

There's no Android app and the iOS version has limited features. The online version shifted its focus away from pure idea mapping toward project management (though it seems great for that purpose).
