“smart time tracking everywhere
Pros
OfficeTime is really simple to use and I can access it wherever I am.. on Mac, PC, iPhone and even Apple Watch. One of the biggest problems I had with other time trackers was walking away from my desk and forgetting to stop the timer or jumping into work and forgetting to start it. Fixing those mistakes later was always a hassle and by the end of a project I often felt like my logged time wasn't all that accurate. OfficeTime solves that by monitoring your computer activity, like mouse movement and keyboard use and when it sees you've been inactive for a set amount of time, it shows a small pop-up that lets you correct the timer with one click. You can leave the time as it is, subtract a certain number of idle minutes or move that time over to another project. That feature has honestly been a lifesaver. I've lost count of how many times I stepped away for lunch or a meeting and forgot to stop the clock. OfficeTime makes fixing those errors incredibly simple. Beyond that, it's also very convenient to add or edit time entries if you forgot to start tracking at the right moment. Projects can be color-coded too which makes it much easier to visually sort what belongs to what. Reporting is another plus since printing reports and charts is very simple. I don't use it for invoicing so I can't say much about that side of it. On top of all that, the support team has been excellent.
Cons
Honestly I can't come up with many downsides. It's a simple time tracking tool and that simplicity is part of why it works so quickly. Some users might wish it included more advanced project management capabilities but that feels beyond the purpose of the software. It stays lean and that's a big reason it remains fast and user-friendly.

“Effective time control
Pros
Being a freelance designer keeping track of the hours I work, including time spent offline, really matters to me. This software helps me organize my work time in a very effective way and that's easily the part I appreciate most.
Cons
I honestly haven't run into anything negative or found any feature I dislike. I still need to explore the software more in depth to see whether anything comes up that I'm not happy with.

I like that this program feels very simple to use and one feature I really appreciated is that it can tell when I've been away from my computer.
Cons
I wasn't happy with the short trial period. I really wish they had offered more time to test it or at least a free version with fewer features.

“fantastic invoicing and sync
Pros
After trying a long list of time-tracking apps with major problems, this one felt spot on from the very beginning. Everything I needed was already built in even invoice creation right inside the app. Being able to use it with my iPhone makes it even better and the syncing works beautifully. There have been a couple of minor hiccups but the developer is incredibly responsive and genuinely goes out of the way to help.
Cons
Honestly I barely have anything to criticize which is unusual because I'm usually pretty picky. It really feels like one of the most impressive pieces of software I've used. If I had to ask for one thing, it would just be a simple button to log a lunch break instead of using pause.

“handy billing and mobile sync
Pros
Really useful and simple for tracking billable time. It works on both iOS and Android phones and tablets and you can sync your data and client information with either a laptop or desktop. Another nice part is being able to create client invoices right away while you're on site or later once the job is finished.
Cons
There honestly aren't many downsides that come to mind. It's currently moving through a 2.0 version with plenty of feedback coming in from beta testers. It can feel a little confusing at times but it seems to be heading in a positive direction.

“perfect for time tracking and invoicing
Pros
Keeping time for clients is really convenient with this product and the invoicing feature is a big plus. It also syncs across PC and iPhone which makes it practical when moving between devices. You can arrive at a client's location and start tracking billable hours right away.
Cons
The setup takes a bit of time in the beginning but once everything is configured and running, it works well.

“Client and project tracking done right
Pros
Keeping track of several clients and all their related projects has been really useful. I can also choose multiple projects at once and quickly view the total time I've spent for a specific client which makes managing my work much more convenient.
Cons
One thing I don't enjoy as much is that if I forget to pause the timer or shut it off after I'm done with a project, it keeps running. When I return after being away for a while, the recorded time ends up being inaccurate. The software does detect that I've been inactive and lets me remove the extra time but since it happens because I forgot to stop it, I still have to go in and fix the time manually.

“easy invoicing and quick setup

the interface felt very simple to navigate. Even with barely any training I was able to create accounts and send invoices whenever needed without much trouble using this software.
Cons
One area that was a bit frustrating was setting up the exact invoice template I wanted. A lot of the time, I had to open the completed file and make edits afterward. It would be much better if that level of customization were available before the invoice is finalized.

“Fast tracking with standout support

Right from the start it has been simple and fast to use. It lets me track an unlimited number of projects which is a huge plus for the way I work. The project archive feature has been especially useful and the graphs and review tools add a lot of value too. On top of that, the company support has been amazing and it's clear the software keeps improving over time.
Cons
One thing I occasionally wish for relates to the kind of work my business handles. Some of my projects last for years and I also manage a small set of recurring tasks, usually around 5 to 10. At times, it would be helpful to have a matrix view showing projects and weekdays so I could enter hours and simplified tasks that way. That said I realize this would be a fairly specific feature for my office and probably not something most businesses would need.

The global menu setup and the way the app handles organization are genuinely useful. I also appreciate the prompts that let me assign "unattended" time when there's no keyboard activity since that helps keep time records more accurate.
Cons
Editing records inside the app doesn't feel very user-friendly and it gets frustrating that there isn't one unified view when I have several paused timers running at the same time.

Pros
Everything feels simple to use and the template system makes it possible to fully customize invoices exactly the way I need.
Cons
One issue has kept coming up during invoice creation: when I enter time as decimal values some entries calculate the wrong dollar total once the rate is applied. Aside from that, the other things I've wanted are already planned for the next version.

Jumping from one project to another is quick and having multiple rate categories makes billing much more flexible. The notes feature is really useful for itemized time entries and the reporting and invoicing tools cover everything I need. The address book is a nice bonus and the mobile app makes it easy to track time when I'm away from my desk.
Cons
Honestly there's not much to complain about. The only minor thing I'd add is a PDF export option for reports.
