Pros

OmniFocus includes pretty much every power task-list feature you'd want and it fits GTD workflows really well. The forecast view is especially useful since it helps me map out my week ahead of time.

Cons

The only thing I'm not thrilled about is that adding new tasks feels a bit slow compared with Things 3 or Any.do.

It is a really strong tool for managing my tasks and projects, whether I'm organizing my own day-to-day work or coordinating something at an organizational level. The setup supports both personal and team-style workflows pretty well and the device sync is genuinely useful. Updates carry across our devices without the usual hassle.

Being able to quickly capture ideas and tasks from everyday life is fantastic. I especially enjoy the location-based reminders. When I'm at home, the related tasks and notes show up and when I'm away, I'm not juggling irrelevant stuff. This flow really helps clear my brain since I don't have to keep things in my head just because I can't handle them at that moment. It might look a bit complex at first glance but that flexibility is exactly what lets you adjust the whole system to match your personal workflow and needs.

Since the setup is very personal, sharing tasks directly with someone else isn't built-in. You can work around it with automation tools and external apps but out of the box it's not designed for simple collaboration.

The UI and overall design are genuinely one of the strongest parts of OmniFocus in my opinion. It also offers multiple viewing modes, including both dark mode and light mode which makes it comfortable to use in different lighting.

That said it's a bit pricey and it can feel challenging for brand-new users to get the hang of. Outside of that learning curve and cost, there aren't really any other problems with the tool.

Used it for both personal planning and business projects and OmniFocus feels genuinely solid for task management. You can adjust the views and workflows to match how you think and the syncing across Apple devices keeps everything up to date. It's one of those apps that can grow with you as your needs shift.

The panel within this software has a well-developed priority system, which I consider to be its greatest strength. It allowed our team to develop tasks with a balanced approach. My project review was limited, and it was difficult to enter multiple projects simultaneously. I expected a more robust program with greater capacity, and the customization of each program was not easily accessible. Instead of saving time, it caused setbacks. Moreover, the login crashed repeatedly throughout the day.
