“pricing no longer competitive”
Pros
The product is easy to use. In short it is not overly complicated and seems like it could work well for just about any small to mid sized service company.
Cons
Cost is the biggest downside as their pricing just isn't competitive anymore. It may have been years ago but now there are better options to choose from.

“Offer reliable cloud access everywhere”
Pros
Being cloud based makes it available wherever we need to use it, whether our team is working from the office or directly at a client site. Also the uptime has been very reliable and we have not run into outages or any loss of information.
Cons
There is a bit more of a learning curve compared to other tools in the same category but thats fairly normal for a new and capable software platform.

“Pretty quick setup and rollout”
Pros
Configuration and day to day management were not a problem. As I was able to map my business process in the application and get it rolled out for testing in less than a week.
Cons
It still needs more flexibility to fit different business processes. The timesheet approval workflow should be customizable too and I feel like the task management feature could offer more control.

“accurate billing time tracker”
Pros
Intervals has been really helpful for tracking the time I spend on each file which makes billing clients for the right number of hours much easier. One feature I especially like is the built-in time clock that you can leave running so you always know exactly how long you have worked on a client's file.
Cons
I honestly do not have any complaints.

“Organized reports and budgeting”
Pros
The clean layout and well-structured interface made Intervals pleasant to use. Plus it supports different user levels and getting a new project, task or milestone set up is pretty easy too. Time can be assigned to tasks and the timesheet does a great job of tracking every change which makes it useful for keeping an eye on employee performance. Setting project budgets is also convenient and the reminders help prevent going over budget. The filters and detailed reports are really helpful too for analyzing how projects are progressing. our clients especially value the reporting because they can clearly see how much time was spent on their work. On top of that the invoicing tools make payroll much simpler for anyone who is paid by the hour.
Cons
At first it felt a bit tricky and definitely took some training to understand but the tutorial videos from Intervals helped me get comfortable with it.

“time tracking and reporting features are my fav”
Pros
From a user standpoint we mostly rely on it for time tracking and that part works really well. The reporting features are also quite good and give us the information we need.
Cons
Getting everything set up can be a bit hard and it is also easy to get too detailed with it. However the reporting is strong overall but the filters could definitely be more user-friendly. The interface also feels like it could use an update.

“Powerful reporting and project control”
Pros
Scheduled custom summary reports and custom pie chart reporting are really useful. Plus the platform comes with a very comprehensive feature set that can support and manage projects at almost any scale. I also like the option to park projects for a small monthly fee instead of keeping everything fully active.
Cons
The number of active projects included for the price feels a bit too limited. There are also too many features shown upfront so it takes a lot of time to explore everything before you can really get started. And I feel like It would be better to highlight the top 10 features that most users rely on, then introduce the rest gradually as needed. Plus predefined feature sets or layouts for small and mid-sized teams or for workflows like Waterfall and Agile would also make onboarding much easier.

“better UI and handy gantt charts”
Pros
Time tracking is pretty simple and the Gantt charts make it easy to move task dates around. While comparing options, Intervals stood out to me for offering a better overall UI experience.
Cons
Reporting tools do have a few problems although the support team usually provides fixes within a day or two. That said the resource allocation report is currently not working at all.

“Great ticketing with room to grow”
Pros
Our team uses this software as a ticketing system and it handles the job really well overall even though we still need a few workarounds here and there.
Cons
I do wish it offered more customization options and it would be much better if the task list showed the owner.

“Reliable time tracking overall”
Pros
Intervals Software is very user-friendly. I mean it is designed in a way that makes it hard to accidentally ruin anything. It also does a good job of capturing and tracking time accurately.
Cons
One feature I really miss is the option to assign staff to a home project or business unit as that would be a big help for our team. When pulling time entry reports, it would be useful to see not only which project the hours were billed to but also the employees home business unit, such as HR, Finance or Marketing. Also it would be very helpful to be able to copy a previous weeks timesheet into the current or future weeks, instead of uploading a template or manually re-entering everything through the add multiple time entries option.

“powerful project tracking standout to me”
Pros
It is very user-friendly as a project management tool. So to me setting up projects, creating tasks, duplicating them and working with the cost related features all stood out as especially well done.
Cons
Overall it is an excellent PM platform but it offers so much that the full range of additional features can feel a bit overwhelming especially since not every one of them ends up being used.

“Reliable support and practical value”
Pros
One of the biggest strengths here is the documentation and how responsive the support team is. Customer service is a huge deal for my clients so working with a company that helps keep me up and running like this is a major plus. Also it is simple to implement, adjust and manage without a lot of hassle. This is very much a no-fuss, get the work done platform. So I would say if someone wants flashy themes and lots of decorative widgets, they should probably look somewhere else. As this software keeps work management professional and efficient across different industries which makes it easier to stay focused on the actual work you're meant to be doing. The pricing and performance are also a big part of why I have stayed. Every year or two I check out other options and think about switching to something a little more expensive in hopes of getting something meaningfully better but for a small business team, I honestly haven't found it. The pricing has remained fair and consistent for small businesses and it still delivers on the support and usability that matter most to me.
Cons
I really can't think of any downside, other than the fact that it still can't do the work itself for me!

Pros
Giving a chance to test the software before paying for it is a really smart approach because once you use it, there's a good chance you'll end up wanting to buy it.
Cons
The pricing still feels a bit on the high side and could use some reconsideration.

“Like the better scope control and billing”
Pros
One thing that really helped with Intervals was how well it let us split big projects into smaller tasks and stay on top of scope. In the past, projects went off track due to scope creep and this software helped keep that under control. Managing work by milestone, assigning resources and setting a budget for each project all worked really well for us. Plus being able to compare estimated time against actual time spent on every task has been incredibly useful and it has made our team much more aware of how every minute is used. On top of that, the time tracking tools are very thorough which has helped us invoice accurately without surprising clients with unexpected charges.
Cons
At first the interface felt like something built mostly with developers in mind although the team has clearly been putting effort into redesigning it and it looks much cleaner and more polished now. Another issue we dealt with was the number of email notifications from it which made it harder than it should have been to keep our inboxes under control.

“affordable features and helpful support”
Pros
Intervals Software gives us a lot for the price. The interface looks polished, the overall user experience is pleasant and it offers plenty of flexibility without feeling overloaded with too many settings or options. On top of that, the customer support has been excellent.
Cons
There really are not many downsides. Also the documentation could be more complete although once you spend some time with the platform, most things become fairly easy to understand.
