“Great for Project Management
Pros
As a project manager in a large commercial construction firm, I rely on Primavera for scheduling. Transitioning from Microsoft Project was a wise move; Primavera's intuitive layout outshines M-project's complexity. Unlike Microsoft Project, Primavera ensures a polished end-user experience, especially when converting schedules to PDF. Its scheduling capabilities, including predecessors and timelines, simplify the process. Primavera's flexibility allows for easy file conversion back to Microsoft Project, making it a must-try for project managers.
Cons
I wish there was more drag-and-drop functionality rather than a spreadsheet-like feel. Despite this, it's easy to pick up if you're familiar with Project.

Project managers can grant specific access to employees and clients, while the tracking features ensure swift report generation, compliance with project requirements, and adherence to the baseline.

Primavera is fantastic, but the licensing and installation processes are cumbersome. Additionally, it's quite costly, although Primavera3 is now free, albeit with limited support.
