Microsoft Project Review

Pros

While generally trouble-free handling heavy video files might present difficulties in reducing PPT size.

Cons

Microsoft Project takes up a lot of RAM and crashes when trying to open if a few applications are already running in the system. The RAM utilization can be improved.

Good Concept

Pros

The software's user-friendliness improves with time though initial usage poses challenges.

Cons

It's kind of unbelievable that you can't open two project windows next to each other... figured this would have been worked out a LONG time ago. Whether you're managing multiple projects at a time or using one project schedule for a reference for another project schedule this feature is a MUST. Almost ruins the software for me.

MS project Review

Pros

Recognized as one of the most user-friendly software for progress tracking it enables the creation of milestones timelines and time-based tasks aiding project progress predictions.

Cons

From my experience a major drawback is the relatively high cost of MS Project and its exclusion from the general office package ("Office Pro" package includes MS Project) which may not be ideal for projects on a tight budget.

This is the reference for Project Planning but you might find better options

Pros

Acknowledged as a comprehensive software Microsoft Project is widely used in enterprises although it may seem overkill for simpler tasks. Newer potentially more cost-effective options have emerged emphasizing usability.

Cons

Like many recent MS software it can be resource-intensive with numerous features making it time-consuming to find the right tools. Improved usability especially for quick project prototyping is desirable.
