“Its a nice tool for test management with good support available online
Pros
qTest is very easy to use and I also like its feature that allows me to record and create tests.
Cons
The option to copy folders across modules is missing. It also hinders requirement management and the creation of test traceability.

“Great Testing Management for the Software QA engineers and Managers.
Pros
I love how easy it is to use, especially the ability to copy/paste images to test case steps. The version control and execution process are also great.

“qTest is the best!
Pros
When dealing with large batches of test cases, qTest proves to be extremely useful. It saves time and effort, especially when running the same test cases in different environments. This feature is a lifesaver!
Cons
It would be beneficial to have graphics displaying test coverage and progress instead of just relying on percentage reports.

“My Review of qTest-Test Management Tool
Pros
The UI is intuitive, and I particularly like the color coding. The integration with tools like Jira creates a clear link between the test case and the assigned JIRA story. qTest offers multiple ways to create or upload test cases and the test design is satisfying when using the platform.
Cons
It's frustrating that for the same items belonging to a specific story, I still have to manually tag each item with the story for requirement mapping. Additionally, managing at the unit level seems outdated and time-consuming.

“Great test management tool
Pros
I use qTest daily and absolutely love the fact that it can be integrated with Jira. This allows for seamless connection of requirements with test cases. The software is easy to use and packed with great features. Additionally, I love the option to export/import test cases in Excel or Word.
Cons
The only issue is that the refresh takes some time.

“Perfect tool for Agile management
Pros
qTest is a perfect fit for agile projects. It offers a story board, customization options, comprehensive reporting, bug management, user management, project milestones, color coding and flexibility to upload/link attachments. The shortcut keys for accessing items are suitable, and the integration with other market tools like Blueprint, Microsoft Azure, Caliber, etc., is a huge plus.
Cons
While I enjoyed all the features, the management of API code with the Postman tool and other coding aspects could be improved.

“Agile Test Management
Pros
I'm impressed by how easy it is to save work on qTest. The intuitive UI and color scheme make it quick and easy to check status. The layout is pretty simple, akin to Rally's, and it functions well as a requirements repository. Integration with requirements and Jira seems easy and possible.
Cons
Setting up the test plan folders seems to involve too many steps. Considering our high testing requirements for FDA-approved medical devices, some of the default workflows and fields are not robust enough. Also I am not fond of the fact that the Actual Results field can be left blank as long as a test status is selected.

“Great Product
Pros
I've been using qTest for a while now and I'm really impressed with its development. The integration with Jira allows me to link JIRA issues to qTest, which greatly enhances overall visibility.
Cons
I wasn't fond of the recent removal of the precondition/prerequisite field. In the latest version, you can't add test fundamentals.

Pros
Testing for my company has become hassle free with qTest. It's incredibly easy to use and follow the instructions. We recently switched to a new ERP system and used qTest to perform testing. I logged all the tests and noted any issues encountered.

“Qtest for test scripts design
Pros
The main reason we use qTest is because of its seamless integration with Jira. It's also very user friendly when it comes to creating test scripts.
Cons
It would be great if they could fix the minor bugs that occur when saving a Test Script. Sometimes, the text doesn't display correctly when copied from Word or any other source.

“Useful for test traceability, good integration with JIRA
Pros
The software has a well-designed workflow that allows traceability of requirements from start to finish. It's easy to separate releases and generate comprehensive reports on the test summary once the testing is completed.
Cons
The UI doesn't have an appealing look, and third-party automation tools are generally not supported. Tricentis wants you to use Tosca for automation with qTest integration. Unfortunately, our team uses Ranorex, which cannot be connected to qTest.

“Review of qTest
Pros
We integrated the software with qTest to import requirements, create test cases and execute them. Also the ability to run queries to find specific modules and test cases was extremely helpful. We were able to effectively track the execution and results of our test cases, and qTest provided insightful infographics to monitor our progress throughout the test execution process.
Cons
Occasionally, the requirements between qTest and JIRA didn't sync well. There were times when the number of requirements in each software didn't match. Additionally, some qTest add-ons, such as Insights, were challenging to work with and lacked the intuitiveness of standard data analysis tools.

“a cloud based good test management tool
Pros
QA Symphony did an exceptional job by incorporating comprehensive test management abilities into the software. The ability to import test cases from Excel spreadsheets or other tools is particularly impressive. It also offers complete control over requirement management, traceability, and has a user-friendly UI.
Cons
The pricing of qTest is higher compared to other competitors. Also it lacks a Rich Text Editor option in the requirement management module.

“Lots of functionality
Pros
The software seamlessly integrates with Atlassian Jira. I can easily select the imported Story or Bug from Jira and link it to a test script. The execution data is then displayed in Jira. The only limitation is that without a qTest license, the detailed test information isn't visible when clicked. Additionally, during test case execution in qTest, there's a appropriate "create bug" button that automatically generates a Bug in Jira and fills in relevant data from the current test case.
Cons
I'm not sure if it's due to our specific implementation, but the software often encounters glitches. I randomly encounter errors or steps that don't display properly. One problem is that I sometimes forget to click the Save button, and if the session times out, all my work is lost.

“Great for our current needs, but could use some improvements
Pros
I like that it integrates with JIRA, as it allows us to easily import requirements into qTest by simply tagging them on our JIRA board. From there, we can organize them by team and sprint. Also the ability to search by requirement is quite useful to me.
Cons
The UI is a little counterintuitive. To add test cases to a test suite, you have to click the 'Statistics' tab, and only then do you have the option to add tests. I still don't understand why they named it that way.
