“Simplifies payroll processing

Pros

Since QuickBooks is already such a large, integrated platform for our finances adding their Time app to my workflow was a natural next step. Overall it does exactly what I need which is tracking hours accurately and automatically.. and that connection simplifies our entire payroll processing by syncing everything directly and eliminating manual data entry. It feels like a cohesive part of the ecosystem.

Cons

The Time app feels like a mix of different eras and breaks down easily when an employee forgets to clock out on time.

The standout feature of QuickBooks Time was how easily it tracked employees hours needing very little intervention from support which made running the team's schedules far simpler.

Cons

Honestly there was not much about it that bothered me. And I can't really comment on pricing since I never paid for the service myself so I have no insight into costs or value.

Pros

It is really simple to navigate and user-friendly. Overall I have had a very good experience with the product and the customer support has been excellent and consistently responsive.

Cons

I don't have any complaints about the software. Overall it's great and works well. As it is easy to use and not complicated and the customer service has been consistently helpful which made the entire experience positive.

“Strong integration but complex interface

Pros

Like other Intuit products it connects very well with the rest of the QuickBooks ecosystem which is a huge advantage for keeping everything synced and unified. That said I do find it's not the simplest tool to operate as there can be a bit of a learning curve and some features aren't as simple as they could be. The integration power is clear but ease of use isn't its strongest point.

Cons

Because it borrows design elements from QuickBooks payroll and bookkeeping the layout does feel familiar to me but on the whole I'm not fond of the interface.

The layout is simple and user-friendly so I can navigate it without much hassle. Also pages load fast so I don't lose time.

Cons

Occasionally it's annoying to clock out and back in for every break but that issue is with my employer's policy, not QuickBooks itself.

The results feature is incredibly useful and honestly it's become essential for how I run things. It gives me clear, actionable insights showing exactly where we're strong and where we need to adjust. More than just looking back it helps shape our future direction with data-driven confidence turning numbers into a roadmap for growth.

To be honest there is not much I can say that's negative other than the initial setup when getting started which I felt was more my own issue than a problem with the software.

This app has been transformative for running my business. I love its clean, easy to use layout, affordable pricing and the ability to manage scheduling and payroll in one place. In short it has truly changed how I operate.

Cons

One downside is the customer support. When I reached out for help, it often felt insufficient and a simple question of mine ended up taking much longer than it should have to get sorted.

One thing I really like is that QuickBooks Time is built right into QuickBooks so I don't have to juggle separate apps or log into multiple programs.

I can't think of anything I disliked about it as it is easy to use and sharing timecards with others was simple whenever I needed to.

Pros

For my workflow it is the best and is easy to use. I also like being able to monitor hours and jobs in a single place, plus I can submit mobile timesheets.

No complaints to mention about this software. I like every feature and would strongly suggest it to anyone looking to simplify their routine.

I use this app to present clear proof of the work performed on site and it proves really useful whenever a client doubts that any work was completed.

We find the cost steep but for larger firms that are contractually obligated to jobs, the investment is completely justified.

I dislike that it requires so many different authentication steps when signing in although I get why it's implemented since it reassures me my personal data stays protected.

I found QuickBooks Time the best for entering weekly hours and generating detailed job-cost and other reports easily.

Cons

We used it for a long time. And we noticed that the timecard required separate lines for overtime which was annoying. Plus when too much information was entered, the system sometimes crashed unexpectedly during busy payroll cycles which was very frustrating too.

Pros

It is a completely cloud-based, easy to use solution for tracking time. I also like that it syncs directly with all of our back-end accounting systems. The mobile app is also excellent for recording time when I'm on the move.

Cons

Setting it up proved tougher than I thought and I wish I could have had additional customization choices for several of my workflows.

I've noticed it emails me a reminder each week about submitting the timesheet which helps me double-check that all of my hours are recorded accurately and on time.

Cons

Sometimes I don't receive a notification if I forget to punch out so my recorded time can be incorrect and that error often carries over and distorts the following day's hours too.

“Simple way to track employees and contractors

Pros

We have been looking for an affordable solution for our time tracking needs and frankly, this is the best we have found so far. Tracking everyones time is so easy and its integration with our Quickbooks online is what makes the most sense.

Cons

It can get pricey as you add more people. But there arent any good alternatives so cant really complain.

It stood out to me for its ease of use and flexible clocking option. Custom schedules are so easy to create.

Its very easy and complete Nothing to dislike about it.

Very easy to setup. We actually have a tablet attached to the wall where employees log their time in and out.

Cons

An employee going on a 1 hour lunch break cannot log back in untill that hour expires so if any emergency arrives, we have no option but to wait.

Quickbooks has helped me streamline tracking of my employees PTO and weekly times. All time slots are easy to read and accessible.

Its not been very long since I started using it so havent found anything bad yet.

Pros

Our employees can simply clock in themselves and it has reduced a lot of work for us. I would recommend this to anyone trying to simply their processes.

I would not be able to clock out and start new timesheet sometimes.
