We can quickly see the value of having visibility into our team's capacity which will help us schedule work efficiently. The views are also easy to adjust. Team members can see how their time is being planned and the customer support team has been responsive and helpful.

We'd just like the option to change line colors by client instead of only by project phase.

Pros

Runn is just what I needed. A simple way to see how people's time is allocated and whether projects are covered. That helps me avoid overloading anyone while keeping work on schedule. I use it to forecast different assignment and timing options, then stay on top of priorities. The interface was quick and easy to pick up. And for once the AI assistant is genuinely useful. It immediately helped me find a few things I had overlooked. After that, real staff followed up with more tips and suggestions and answered questions that went beyond the AI. Getting instant help from a capable bot for simple questions with people available afterward, is an ideal combination. I also appreciate being able to ignore the cost and money features. Since all our staff are direct employees, time matters more to us and other platforms I've used required entering numbers to work. If we bring on contractors later, cost will matter more so having that option will be useful.

Cons

A few parts of the UI could use some polish. Navigation isn't entirely smooth in certain areas. The quick menu lets you reach things from one page but not another, where you have to open the full item page first. That inconsistency is a little odd and some buttons and clickable areas also seem small. The team appears open to feedback like this so I'll watch to see if it gets addressed. I expect the interface will keep improving and feel more refined as they get feedback from more users. These are minor frustrations though and they don't get in the way of completing what you need to do.

We chose Runn mainly for its resourcing tool and also wanted to monitor dollar and labour costs against our budget. It has met those needs and although we've only been using it for a couple of months, I can already see it becoming an invaluable tool for us. Its reporting features are strong too. The more time I spend using Runn, the more impressed I am. I'm also very pleased with the AI bot which consistently points me to the right resources when I'm looking for information. It's my go-to so I rarely need to use the chat function. The help centre is extensive and thoughtfully put together with videos and instructions that are easy to follow. We handled the implementation ourselves and it was fairly easy. Importing time sheet data is effortless as well so there's no need to worry that this part will be difficult.

Cons

Our first direct enquiry to them when we asked questions and requested demos, wasn't especially helpful. Now that we're using the software though I've realised the information we need is available through either the AI chatbot or Runn's extensive help centre.

Pros

Runn has a clean, simple interface that makes it simple to manage team workloads and project timelines. I can quickly check who is working on what and when which helps with planning. Resource forecasting and project tracking are also useful for keeping everything organized without feeling overwhelmed.

Custom fields in reports would be useful.

Implementing this tool was very simple, and it's easy to use for tracking our resources current and future projects. It provides a clear view of our cross-project metrics. I can't speak highly enough about the responsiveness of the customer support team to questions, issues, and feature requests. While the tool may not have every single feature I desire, working with this company is a pleasure.

Cons

While I would prefer better reporting capabilities, the software makes it easy to export data. When I have unique reporting needs, I can transfer the data to a spreadsheet. Therefore, the main area where Runn could improve is by providing more security profiles. We would greatly benefit from having more flexibility than what is currently provided.

Runnio is simple and manageable for new users so it doesn't take much effort to learn. It's a big help with resource planning since we can see who is overutilized and take the needed steps.

I'd like to see more options, such as bulk updates for resource leave time and automatic setup of public holidays. It would also be useful to filter by location and employee ID.

Dependencies would be useful so adjusting one staff member's work in a project updates the others as well. A broader overview page for seeing all project schedules at once would also help.
