“great tool for story mapping technique”
Pros
I particularly enjoy the ease of creating cards and the ability to share and collaborate online. The new feature of tagging user journeys is also highly valuable.
Cons
I would like to see greater flexibility in release lanes. Sometimes there is too much white space between cards. One idea could be to assign a release as an attribute, and the line would be drawn automatically once a card is assigned to a release.

“Made work easy and faster when you have global team”

There are a few things I want to highlight about StoriesOnBoard: First it allows for merging all pieces in one place. Secondly it covers a wide range of UX processes that can be validated with the team. Moreover the ready-made templates make work fast and easy and Collaborating with peers within the tool is a fantastic feature. Last but not the least It combines flexibility with efficiency flawlessly.
Cons
It was a bit difficult to understand the numerous options available.

“Hands down the most comprehensive story mapping tool available today.”
Pros
The two-way sync with Trello, Jira, Github and Tracker integration makes it a convenient choice regardless of the engineering or development team's preference. It is fantastic for bridging the gap and focusing on product management and strategy before committing to development.
Cons
Last time I checked, the only thing missing for me was attachment synchronization and perhaps displaying card covers.

“Good app overall”
Pros
I am impressed by how easily I can build and arrange a story map. The navigation features are intuitive and easy to learn. I also like the structure, release lanes and the option to export the story map to Excel.
Cons
It would be easier if there was a more straightforward way to indicate or tag a task with one or more personas. Currently, there is no specific setup for this. Although color-coding can be used, it would be helpful to have a persona legend for quick visual cues. Additionally, the option to create page breaks in the text field would be beneficial.

“Easy way to manage your User Stories”
Pros
Editing has become simple. All credit goes to StoriesOnBoard and I can quickly get an overview of all the stories. It has just the right amount of features which keeps it simple and not overly complicated. Additionally, with the small license that allows only one admin I can have multiple "read accounts."
Cons
Unfortunately, there is no offline functionality. It would be great if the entire system could be hosted locally.

“It is an must have tool for all organizations which have multiple depended projects.”
Pros
It provides easy access to information for all ongoing projects in one place. The options to customize and group cards based on the type of work or project are excellent. The swim lanes feature is highly useful for prioritizing tasks.
Cons
The UI/UX needs some adjustments to enhance keyboard usability. There aren't many keyboard shortcuts available and deleting a card requires a two-step process, which can be annoying at times.

“Definitely my choice for online User Story Mapping”
Pros
The interface has a pleasant look and editing is made easy with shortcuts. The integration with Trello and other platforms is brilliant. It offers the perfect balance of having the necessary features without feeling bloated.
Cons
There are some quirks in Safari/Mac. Sometimes, I feel the need for one more level at the top of the map such as an "Actor" category above "Activity."

“A great product for Story Maps”
Pros
Among all the products offering Story Map creation features, ProductsOnBoard undoubtedly provides the best user experience and feel for this critical and strategic work. It offers the features that are helpful and the keyboard shortcuts work seamlessly, resulting in a fantastic user interface.
Cons
StoriesOnBoard serves as a Story Mapping tool, and that's its primary purpose. As a budding entrepreneur, it is important to make wise choices when allocating funds. For small businesses, paying for a platform that only serves one purpose in your workflow may not be the most practical choice.

“StoriesOnBoard provides a much needed holistic view of the project work that needs to be completed.”
Pros
StoriesOnBoard fills the gap between planning meetings and day to day project execution. Previously, it was challenging for the project team and manager to have a holistic view of the project's goals, as we relied on a physical wall or a task tracking tool. With remote team members, using a physical project board became impractical. StoriesOnBoard allows the entire team to access and update the board online, providing a quick overview of task status. Its user-friendly interface requires virtually no learning curve, which is crucial for team members to focus on project work. As the project manager, I appreciate the ability to export to a spreadsheet format.
Cons
As an office 365 shop, I would prefer some form of integration rather than just exporting.

“Very easy and intuitive to use.”
Pros
The ease of use is remarkable. Even someone new to the product can jump in and quickly understand what is going on.
Cons
I wish there was a simpler way to view the "color key" used throughout the story map. I often find myself randomly clicking into individual cards to see which color represents what.

“Awesome product to organise your epics and user stories”
Pros
I have come across one of the best story mapping tools available. It's very easy for me to navigate and manage stories, plan releases/milestones, integrate with Jira and export to Excel. It offers all the flexibility I need at an affordable price.
Cons
While there are a few minor usability annoyances there's nothing significant to complain about. I am eagerly looking forward to some changes or you can say enhancements like improved searching and filtering capabilities in the near future.

Pros
I am amazed with the simple Jira integration. It would be great to have more fields and custom statuses to link to. Additionall, support for Epics would be beneficial.
Cons
There is no offline functionality and when the connection is lost, it becomes choppy and slow. Additionally, the "presenter mode" doesn't offer much utility.

“Very helpful for story mapping.”
Pros
The user interface is easy and intuitive. I can effortlessly group cards into releases and the integration with Jira is seamless.
Cons
The drag and drop feature doesn't work smoothly when there are numerous cards, and scrolling becomes necessary. The integration only functions with one Jira instance, so it would be beneficial to connect to multiple instances.

“Stories on Board is a simple, easy to use agile user story mapping tool. Love it!”
Pros
For a requirements definition project with a client, my team chose StoriesOnBoard as our story mapping tool. We conducted 8 to 10 story mapping workshops using the tool, documenting the stories as we progressed. The client and we were thrilled with the tool's effectiveness. It captured the stories effortlessly, allowing us to quickly rearrange them as priorities shifted or became clearer (such as capturing the Minimum Viable Product). The color coding feature was extensively used to track the status of each story: identified but not yet documented, partially or fully documented but not yet agreed upon, and fully agreed upon by the client. It effectively captured the major workflow associated with epic-level stories and broke them down into individual story cards. We evaluated a few other tools but found them overly complicated and expensive for our needs. We wanted something simple, and StoriesOnBoard fit perfectly.
Cons
Since our client didn't utilize the tool, we had to export everything into Excel or Word for delivery which added some complexity. This is not a something that is a fault of the tool itself but it would have been easier if the client had also used the tool!

“Simple tool allows me to story map a large project before and during software development”
Pros
I love all the features as the tool hardly misses anything. It is incredibly easy to use, reasonably priced and I haven't encountered any bugs so far.
Cons
It would be great to have integration with Aha so that I can conveniently view and edit my stories there before pushing them to JIRA.

“Storiesonboard allows our team to plan and create releases for upcoming features”
Pros
Creating releases is a breeze and I love how easy it is to add pictures to stories. The integration with GitHub greatly helps us track and push our stories, ensuring smooth delivery. It's incredibly simple to copy the story map into StoriesOnBoard and continue maintaining it from there.
Cons
The main issue at the moment is the management of releases. It is inconvenient to access a separate menu just to move releases around, especially when working with micro releases.

“Story mapping made simple”
Pros
I can easily view and share my short-term and long-term plans with my distributed team. The connection to Jira allows me to quickly and easily communicate the next set of requirements to the development team.
Cons
It is not easy to manage one product connected to multiple projects in Jira since the story map only allows for one integration per map.

“Not so easy to use if you try to move more than 1 card to another place.”
Pros
The option to create a story map is a unique and user-friendly feature. Integration with tools like Jira is simple and straightforward. The two and three level views seem like great ideas.
Cons
Swapping cards between columns is simple but in some cases, it can be complex. There is no option to move cards in batches or select multiple cards at once. Creating a card is not as simple as desired, and there is no quick search feature. The printing option is not user-friendly, and exporting to XLS could be improved.

“Love the tool. We use it for planning with stakeholders as well as tracking implementation”
Pros
The tool is quite user-friendly and offers flexibility. We consider it quite essential for us for launching new projects.
Cons
The export function doesn't include all fields but it's a minor issue. There are also instances where the colors of the cards don't transfer over but I can manually highlight them afterward.

“It helped view bigger picture and categories stories easily”
Pros
The storyboard view is fantastic. Moving stories across different releases is also a hassle free task. I also like the option to update story titles without having to open each story individually.
Cons
When it comes to editing on the storyboard, I find it less intuitive. The integration capabilities are limited and there is room for improvement in the export option to make it more streamlined.
