“Stories on Board is an integral part of our Agile Cycle”
Pros
According to me if you are familiar with and have effectively utilized story mapping in your development process, this question might sound rhetorical. However, just in case my top two favorite aspects would be the collaborative functionality for story mapping and secondly, I like the road mapping and project reporting capabilities it offers.
Cons
Honestly I can't think of anything I dislike about the software. If I do come across any issues I reach out to their support, and they promptly address them. It is not possible for me to describe any cons here.

“StoriesOnBoard - a tool for nailing down product ideas”
Pros
The functions I like the most are steering through the keyboard, assistance, modern redesign, filtering and incorporating color.
Cons
The new way of adding color to the redesigned maps takes a bit longer than before and it would be great if I could select multiple cards at once.

“I only have 2 tools I consider essential for my job, and storiesonboard is one of them!”
Pros
What I like the most about storiesonboard is how flawlessly it supports the technique of story mapping which aims to create shared understanding through externalized thinking. When I ask someone to explain their project, I can easily visualize their explanations at the same time. This is how simple it is to use. I use it to visually map various projects I am working on, ranging from large scale software projects to planning my own home renovations. When collaborating with clients, it assists as the starting point to visualize the scope, provides context for estimations, forms the basis for client offers and offers an overview to track progress once we begin.
Cons
The export to Excel is functional but could be improved. It would be better if it exported content to new columns instead of comments. Additionally, I hope for the ability to insert a story map in a whiteboarding tool like Miro to enhance the visual organization of relevant information.

“Very happy with StoriesOnBoard”
Pros
I often have meetings where we gather a diverse group of offline and online stakeholders. StoriesOnBoard has been priceless in structuring these meetings while brainstorming product design and the end-to-end process. The resulting output can be easily advanced during follow-up meetings or exported to Excel or PDF for sharing within the organization.
Cons
I wish I could convince my organization to use this tool more frequently.

Perhaps the only thing I can mention for now is the prices as it is a bit high. Other than that there is nothing I dislike about this software.

“Takes the pain out of sprint 0 and keeping your high-level vision in focus”
Pros
Stories on board doesn't try to do everything and this is the reason I love it the most. It excels in various departments as it has so many different features and epics also it is serving as a workspace for planning and grooming stories before they enter the development phase. I extensively use it to add features, stories and tasks needed for a product build, often before the build's structure is fully defined. Once in the tool, I can easily rearrange stories, split them if they are too large, merge similar stories and then seamlessly integrate them with Jira for managing sprints. Additionally, I can pull the backlog from Jira to organize upcoming sprints and releases.
Cons
Currently, there are two features that I would love to have as it will greatly improve my experience. Firstly, StoriesOnBoard only connects to one instance of Jira which is fine for product companies but insufficient for consulting firms like ours that use our own Jira instance and client Jira instances. Also I am eagerly awaiting support for multiple Jira instances. Secondly, I would like to have sprint-level swimlanes in StoriesOnBoard in addition to the existing release-level swimlanes. Although I can work around this by using releases named Sprint 1, Sprint 2, etc would be more convenient if it were a native feature.

“Digitalize your sticky notes and task board”
Pros
The integration with JIRA is the standout feature of this software. The cards effortlessly integrate with JIRA and appear on my board. Another great aspect is the ability to divide projects into multiple releases.
Cons
I am not certain if there is an option to reverse integrate from JIRA stories to StoriesOnBoard. Having this feature would greatly benefit us as we could easily onboard existing projects.

“By far the best Story Mapping tool out there...”
Pros
Firstly, the intuitiveness of the User Experience is remarkable. It almost requires no training. Secondly it easily replicates the experience of story mapping on a traditional physical wall.
Cons
It's a bit expensive for all of my African clients. While they are willing to pay something, they tend to shy away when they see the price, even if they had a great experience during our previous story mapping sessions.

I really like the ability of being able to easily release planning directly from the story map. Additionally, the integration with GitHub saved our teams a significant amount of time.

Pros
Setting up is incredibly easy, thanks to the highly intuitive user interface. All the features are laid out clearly and easy to understand.

“Great Product Could Be Even Better”
Pros
It is highly intuitive and makes collaboration with others a breeze. I particularly love the integration with JIRA.
