“TPOD is great for the money when you want to get rid of all the sticky notes and strings
Pros
The system offers a high level of user-friendliness and intuitiveness. Many of our users easily adapt to its methodologies and workflows.
Cons
Establishing connections with third-party tools like SalesForce and Azure Dev Ops can be extremely challenging. The available options are limited, and both have proven to be unsatisfactory.

The visibility it provides really speeds up access to information which makes managers feel much more confident when making decisions with the team.

“visual project clarity for teams
Pros
Targetprocess brings a very visual approach to project management which helps teams see and organize their tasks, workflows and dependencies in a clear and user friendly way. That makes it much easier to understand how the project is progressing and to spot possible bottlenecks or issues before they become bigger problems.
Cons
If someone is not used to more advanced project management tools, it can feel challenging at first because the learning curve is fairly steep. Getting comfortable with all of its features and capabilities may take some time and training. Some users may also feel that the interface looks a bit busy and packed with information since the large number of details and options can make navigation and initial use somewhat confusing.

“Backlog grooming with learning curve
Pros
Being able to add features and improvements for backlog grooming and release planning is very valuable. From there creating user stories is easy and the extra options for comments, target releases, owners and similar details are very helpful to have.
Cons
There is definitely a learning curve at the beginning although once you get used to how it works it becomes fairly simple to use.

“Flexible hub for team tracking
Pros
It is incredibly flexible and it gives the our whole team one place to stay on top of projects, tasks, ongoing events, course scheduling, purchase requests and orders, follow-ups. I mean pretty much anything we need to monitor to keep the company workflow running well overall. When I first started using it, I thought of it as a less trendy version of Trello though to be fair that comparison doesn't really do justice to either Targetprocess or Trello.
Cons
That same flexibility also means it takes a while to learn and can be tricky to navigate at first. I can definitely see how someone could feel overwhelmed by it but thankfully my onboarding focused a lot on the supporting tools and processes we use which made the workflow much more manageable.

“scales well for complex teams
Pros
As our organization has expanded and our processes have become more involved, Targetprocess has kept up without any trouble. It supports a wide range of needs and helps us continue growing while keeping work consistent through standardized methods, regardless of the project. Also it is friendly enough for non-technical users which really matters since we have plenty of creative people using the platform.
Cons
Nothing too serious but that same level of power can also make it harder to get started. Setting it up and configuring it properly takes offline planning, team alignment and a clear understanding of the workflow before moving everything into this digital system. And because it's so customizable, it can feel intimidating and it really helps to have someone involved who understands Agile and programming to set it up well.

“Clean collaboration on cards
Pros
This product is user friendly and the overall interface has a polished, pleasant feel. One thing that works especially well is the ability to reply directly to comments which keeps questions and answers together in one place instead of creating a long email chain to follow. If I ever need to remember why something was handled a certain way, I can just go back to the card and find the full context there.
Cons
I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this software.

“powerful but steep reporting curve
Pros
When it comes to project reporting, this is easily one of the strongest tools I've used. It offers a wide range of configuration options for viewing project data from different angles, like tasks by user, items organized by iteration and dependencies between tasks, among many others that I rely on regularly.
Cons
After moving over from a Jira based project, it took some time to get used to at first and building reports definitely isn't as easy as it is in some other tools. That said the broad variety of reporting options makes up for the learning curve.

“accessible project tracking tool
Pros
Managing development tasks with Targetprocess has been a really positive experience. It's a simple project management tool that's easy to work with and we genuinely enjoyed using it. The customization options were also very helpful so we could adapt it to fit the way our team works.
Cons
The API was a little difficult to work with when we needed to update things dynamically. On top of that the documentation and support could have been better.

“keeps projects on track
Pros
Whenever my attention starts drifting, this does a really good job of keeping me focused on the task in front of me. Plus it helps lay everything out clearly and keeps me organized all the way through until the project is finished.
Cons
overall navigation is fairly easy. Yes it did take a bit of time to get used to at first but once I became familiar with it, it worked well for me. I'd give it about an 8 out of 10 for usability.

“functional boards!
Pros
The visual, highly flexible boards make it simple for our team to track development progress in whatever format works best for us. Also it is one of the few tools that truly handles prioritized backlog views well. Targetprocess has turned into an essential part of our software development lifecycle.

“Transparent scrum tracking
Pros
At our company, we use Targetprocess to manage projects with the Scrum methodology and it really helps keep work transparent for everyone involved. Also shared charts and diagrams are available to the whole team which makes the data much easier to understand and follow.
Cons
Status updates for projects currently come through email and I'd rather see them appear right on the screen as push notifications. As having to check email every few hours just to stay updated is inconvenient.

“Strong Jira alternative with storage
Pros
One thing that really stands out about it is the unlimited cloud storage. Plus it gives us amazing options for building infographics, delegating tasks and sharing access with others. Overall I'd say it is a strong alternative to Jira.
Cons
When I put it side by side with Jira, a few gaps become noticeable. Such as it is missing some things I rely on like commenting features, change notifications, process timelines and time management tools.

“Great for large teams
Pros
Working in Targetprocess with a large team means handling more than 10 projects at the same time and the platform does a really nice job with that. One of the features I like most is how quickly I can switch between different project boards, plus the diagrams are very useful for visualizing the work clearly.
Cons
One thing that feels missing is GIT integration and that definitely makes the platform less appealing than it could be. I also was not happy with the access control setup since configuring permissions is complicated when you want access limited to only a specific group instead of everyone.

“Powerful integrations and automation
Pros
The most impressive part of Targetprocess is how well it handles all the essential operations. The automation is also powerful and it does an excellent job with manual synchronization between ALM and PPM while also reducing the need for plugins which is a big advantage. Integration has been the highlight for me because it noticeably boosts my productivity. On top of that being a web-based application makes field mapping much more effective and convenient.
Cons
Every now and then a few minor errors show up but they have never been serious enough to really mention as a major issue. Overall it's genuinely a great application for just about every purpose and there really is not anything significant to dislike about it.

“Powerful for devs
Pros
The biggest strength here is how much the platform can do. It may not be the most attractive or user friendly software out there but the overall functionality is impressive to me. Plus the level of customization is excellent.
Cons
Customer support use cases are where it feels less complete. There is a feature for receiving client requests and tracking follow-ups but it does not offer much depth in my view. This works extremely well for software developers though I would not consider it the best fit for a support team.

“Great scrum boards and portfolios
Pros
Since our team works in Scrum, having a reliable agile project management platform is a must. Choosing Targetprocess was definitely the right call because it gives us practical boards, great task management and the ability to handle project portfolios all in one place.
