This is the most practical and user-friendly time-tracking software I've used. It includes all the tools I need to better organise my daily work and stay on top of tasks.

It makes tracking time and managing projects very simple. As a project lead I can easily keep tabs on my teammates' progress and reallocate resources when needed. I also use it daily to schedule tasks and monitor who's doing what which keeps the workflow clear and on track.

I think the interface could use some polishing. It doesn't scale well for very large teams or complex projects. I experienced a few inconsistencies when trying to manage many people. Overall though I still consider it a solid piece of software.

I found it to be great value for money, very simple to use and the processing performance was quite solid.

My experience with the time tracking has been mostly positive but it's inconsistent. There are times when it works perfectly and other moments when it fails to behave reliably.

I'm really impressed by how userfriendly it is. It makes tracking hours against my budget simple. The time card feature especially improves usability and helps me create much more accurate budget estimates.

For the price I think it's well worth it. I can't really point to any specific feature that I dislike or that feels unnecessary so it's been a solid purchase for me.

“Reliable way of assigning tasks

Pros

Although I don't need graphic designers to be physically in the office or on campus to finish their work we still require a reliable way to assign projects (tasks), set the permitted time/hours for each assignment and include other relevant details. You can configure these settings for a single employee or for an entire graphic design team. Since my design group is fairly small this approach suits us well and functions effectively.

Cons

This strength is also its limitation. It performs really well for a small team but I wouldn't choose it for our larger groups because I can't connect it to the university-wide Workday system. In our workflow we rely on Trello and Zapier yet those tools don't automatically sync with timesheets so it doesn't fully fit into the way we track hours.

Pros

It took me a short while to get comfortable with it because it unlocked a bunch of time-management features I hadn't realized I needed until I started using it. These days it helps me organize work with my team much better and has made me more efficient in the tasks I've assigned to staff, as well as clearer about what I expect of them and myself to accomplish within the timeframe required.

Cons

Right now I haven't run into any problems because I've only been using it for a few months. Should I face a limitation or need a feature I don't have I'll be sure to raise it but for the time being it's meeting my needs and doing what I rely on it to do.

It also records everyone's time in and time out which has been extremely helpful for us recently.

Very user friendly and I can set a time budget for any project I'm working on which helps me see how I'm spending my hours. I also find the custom reporting tool really useful and convenient.

I don't like the monthly budget option. It confuses me and I wish it were simplified with clearer, more relevant details so I could understand and use it better.

I feel the interface could use a refresh, a more modern visual design would make it more appealing and easier for lots of people to love.

At first I appreciated that it was among the few Mac-native time-tracking apps available and it did its job reliably. The little time-tracking widget in particular made it much easier for me to stay on top of that tedious chore.

I've found many positive aspects to this software. Its reliable, feature-rich and thoughtfully designed. It runs very smoothly in my daily use without lag or glitches so overall I consider this a really good product that delivers consistently and makes my work more efficient. It's become a trusted part of my toolkit.

On the downside I face a few ridiculous issues that create problems for me. It sometimes doesn't behave the way I expected and that has been quite frustrating.

I don't find the UI especially attractive. Its windowed layout feels bulky and the muted and the uninspired color palette makes it look somewhat unprofessional. Fortunately its core functionality is solid so the visual shortcomings aren't deal-breakers for me.

Actually I find the interface very simple and it makes working toward my goals feel interactive and even rewarding. Plus I appreciate the smooth Basecamp integration.

I'm paying a bit more than I expected for the features I get and on top of that the mobile app crashes or behaves glitchily on my phone.
