My experience revolves around using this tool for PTO/Vacation tracking. It is user-friendly, offering clear summaries of each person's usage and easy setup for company holidays.

Occasionally, there might be a glitch with exemptions or carry-over amounts, but the TimeOut team promptly addresses any questions I have. Usually, it turns out to be a user error.

I wish there was an administrative feature to filter and organize time out for each employee according to my needs. When I retrieve information, I have to reorganize it by copying and pasting into Excel, then applying filters.

One thing I dislike is the accrual process where the system accrues first and then deducts vacation taken. For instance, if an employee maxes out on their PTO and wants to use it on the last day of the month, the system won't accrue additional PTO because it deducts vacation taken first, halting accrual for the month.

Requesting time off and tracking different types of leave is a breeze with this program. It's also convenient to monitor usage and available days.

It glitched a couple of times and would not allow me to select my time off by hours instead of days, but after exiting and re-entering, it worked. I wish it could display the year by hire date rather than all years. Also, waiting for supervisor approval can sometimes be problematic.

Certain tasks, like setting black out dates, were laborious. To override, I had to change the date and add the blackout days instead of having an admin override option.

If you do not end up using time off or vacation time, you have to remember to manually remove it from the system as it doesn't happen automatically.

Since adopting Unity Suite, it has proven to be flexible, user-friendly, and robust. Customization was swift, and customer service from sales to support has been consistently excellent.

In our experience, there are absolutely no downsides to the product or the team. We have not encountered any negative aspects with the time off work product or the team.
