“Simple client and project management
Pros
My whole team uses this tool, it's simple to add clients and projects and to keep track of time. Making updates or fixing problems is easy and we genuinely appreciate the recent addition of time-off requests since it lets us handle PTO right inside the app. On top of that, the activity tracker is a pleasant extra that we often use.
Cons
The company is based in the Czech Republic and they've often pushed updates right in the middle of our workday. I understand it's because of the time-zone differences but those surprise rollouts have been irritating for our team and have led to some real frustration during busy periods.

“simple interface for enterprise use
Pros
interface is incredibly convenient whether I'm using the web version or the mobile app and it makes getting started really easy. The tool provides easy time tracking and reporting that works well for individual use but also scales up cleanly for enterprise-wide needs. There's a useful free tier that covers basic features for up to five users which made it easy for me to trial things without commitment. For manual time tracking, getting going was as simple as adding a time entry, typing in a short description and a start time, then I just press the play icon and the timer runs. When I finish a task, I tap stop and the timer ceases, alternatively I can create a new task and the timer will switch over and begin tracking the new activity immediately. It also supports automatic time tracking within applications for billing and reporting purposes which is handy if you need more automated, granular monitoring for business reasons. Reporting is easy to navigate, you get Project summaries, Task summaries, Team summaries and Detailed reports, all of which can be exported as CSV or PDF files. In my case I mostly used it for manual task tracking but I can see the more advanced enterprise capabilities too, such as monitoring, locking time entries to prevent edits and producing much more detailed reporting when required.
Cons
One frustrating behavior I ran into is that when I add a new task, the app assumes the new task started immediately after the previous one ended. That design assumes you don't take breaks between activities which can be annoying if I step away or need to insert downtime between tasks.

“easy time tracking
Pros
this tool is really simple to use and more than adequate when time tracking is the main priority. I especially like the wide range of integrations with project management and other apps, they've cleared up a lot of hassle in my workflow.
Cons
I find the invoicing side to be poorly thought out and far too limited in customization so I can't realistically swap it in for the invoicing system I currently rely on. Because of that, I still need to keep a separate billing tool to meet my needs.

“Great affordable wellintegrated easytouse time tracking system
Pros
As a solo freelancer I rely on TMetric to track my time spent on client projects and it has been a reliable and userfriendly tool for the past 3 years. The interface is minimalistic and visually appealing reminiscent of popular Google apps. TMetric offers numerous integrations allowing me to track time effortlessly while working on emails tasks and more. Editing or adding time is simple and flexible and the reporting feature provides customizable metrics for different levels and timespans.
Cons
I would appreciate the option to round tracked hours to the closest 15minute interval in TMetric. Additionally it would be beneficial to have the ability to add time in the future allowing users to plan and set projected time ahead of schedule. Another feature that would be valuable is the ability to compare one time period with a previous period similar to the functionality available in Google Analytics.

“Offline and integrated tracking
Pros
integrations that let me track time are perfect, for example while I'm reading or replying to an email and even when I'm offline. Every so often it did get a bit confusing though.
Cons
It seems to work best when I'm focusing for an extended stretch of time. Whenever I pause the timer, even if it's only for sixty seconds, restarting it ends up creating a separate time entry. I'd frequently end up with a very long list of entries which made my logs look cluttered and confusing.

“Team progress visibility
Pros
it lets me quickly see what the team is working on and follow up on progress without delays. I can link it to TFS tasks so everything stays synchronized which saves time. The interface is really easy for starting or stopping a job and I appreciate that it supports Windows android and iOS.
Cons
haven't run into anything about it that I dislike.

“Quick task management
Pros
What I appreciate about this tool is how easily it hooks up with other task management apps like Todoist. Time tracking is easy and I find it's quick and effortless to log details for every project and task I'm working on so tracking just slips into my normal workflow.
Cons
The project creation page feels a bit awkward because the data-entry order doesn't match how I work, I want to put the project ID in before the title. Also it would really help if I could add clients directly from the same add-project screen instead of switching elsewhere.

“great deal for small teams
Pros
For the price, I think it's a really great deal since the free plan covers the essentials for a five-person team. I also appreciate the Asana integration a lot and I find it easy to invite and add teammates without any hassle.
Cons
I'd like to be able to customize reports more, specifically choosing which fields become CSV export columns because the current options are limited. The desktop application feels clunky and takes some time to get comfortable with and frankly it could benefit from a more comprehensive set of beginner tutorials to help new users ramp up.

“activity tracking made easy
Pros
activity feature for keeping track of what I'm doing throughout the day is great. The auto-suggest options when filling fields are a real time-saver and being able to mark idle time as a break with a single click is something I genuinely appreciate, that "Add as a break" option is brilliant. I also love how the app automatically adjusts time entries: when I add a new entry that would overlap an existing one, it splits the old entry into before-and-after segments and neatly inserts the new entry in between. That behavior saves me a ton of clicks, time and hassle. On top of that, exporting reports as PDF works well for sharing and the bulk edit capabilities give me the flexibility I need when managing many entries at once.
Cons
There are quite a few features I miss and some usability gaps. For example, the little "i" hover descriptions in reports and entries are missing and would be really helpful. The Android and Desktop apps don't feel as user-friendly as the web version and I wish the web app had a floating action button for quickly adding a time entry or task. In the web app I can't select multiple tags while typing in the tag field and the Android app needs the ability to add tags directly. Also in the Android app, when I create a report near the end of the month (say between the 26th and 31st), the last row gets covered by the Apply button so I can't choose the end date or include those final days. On the My Time screen I want options to group entries by project and to sort by duration, not just show them in sequential order. A timer feature tied to each time entry, customizable with alarms and descriptions for my varied focus/break rhythms (sometimes I break after 25 minutes sometimes after 40), would be extremely useful. There's no Android widget for quick time entry which would speed things up a lot. I would also like a line graph for individual projects so I can easily spot increases or decreases in time spent. In Chrome, showing the current task name and elapsed time in the tab title instead of the daily time balance would help me track things at a glance. It would be great if new projects could be created dynamically when I try to add a time entry for one that doesn't exist yet and similarly if tags could be created on-the-fly while typing a task. PDF reports should offer sorting by time and include descriptions. Features like bookmarking entries and tags, grouping tags together and having smart time entry suggestions so I don't have to type everything would all improve the workflow significantly.

“efficient time entry setup
Pros
big fan of the time entry setup because it gives me a easy way to log hours both while I'm doing the work and afterwards. The actual logging is great most of the time, time pickers and the auto-complete speed things up so I can get entries in quickly. I also rely on the reports, they give handy summaries and charts showing time by different criteria across different date ranges.
Cons
when I'm entering time the AM/PM selection acts up and the app picks something that doesn't make sense. I also feel the desktop client doesn't get the same care as the web version, it's noticeably rougher around the edges and feels less polished compared to the web interface.

“Punch in and out easily
Pros
it is really easy for staff to punch in and out, including recording breaks. The reports already show total hours worked with break time deducted which has made running payroll incredibly simple for us.
Cons
I ended up having to provision dedicated in-house smartphones for every team member so they wouldn't waste time logging into the app every time they needed to clock in or clock out which added extra setup work.

“Clean interface with reports
Pros
I've found this product incredibly easy to use. Its interface feels clean and convenient and the reports it generates genuinely help with my daily tasks. I also appreciated the Trello integration since our team already relies on that platform making adoption smooth. Plus the browser extensions for Google Chrome and Opera were well received by everyone on our team.
Cons
the Android app's usability could use some work. It performs the necessary functions and covers the basics, yet the user experience doesn't feel polished. At times I get a little disoriented when navigating the app so refining the flow would make it much more pleasant to use.

“Simple task switching
Pros
One major reason I chose this app over others is how simple it is to switch tasks, I can just restart a task and continue. Other programs force you to stop the previous one first which feels awkward and really annoys me. I also appreciate the variety of reports available. I end up using most of those reports when I plan and organize my week's time regularly.
Cons
I wish I could set a custom timeframe on the Time Entry page so the tool's calculation of whether I'm ahead or behind reflects the exact period I care about. Right now it defaults to the current month and because months can begin mid-week it often makes it tough to get an immediate sense of how the week is shaping up. It would also help if a time entry's notes field supported a full paragraph and better yet if those notes could be tracked per-project and per-day. At the moment I have to paste my final weekly time entry into a different app for my manager and when I try to write more detailed notes here it's annoying to congreatate them into one paragraph. For that reason I keep notes in this tool deliberately brief and save my fuller timesheet text in OneNote.

I really value the feasible integrations, they're brilliant and make my work noticeably more productive.

Pros
reliable tool and it plugs in smoothly with our project management platform, plus it runs neatly in its own window and dedicated app. I'd recommend trying it across different pricing tiers to see what fits best.
