versatile boards for every project

Pros

From everyday to-do lists to full business projects, it handles pretty much anything you throw at it. It also works well with a lot of other tools and the add-ons are excellent for customizing boards to fit the way different users like to work. On top of that, the free version offers more than enough features to run a business effectively.

Cons

There's definitely a learning curve so it can take a while to really get comfortable with everything. It also isn't a perfect fit for everyone some people love the board-style approach while others just don't connect with it. And once you're managing lots of boards with dozens of lists, things can start to feel cluttered pretty quickly.

real-time teamwork

Pros

Working with this tool feels very easy and it makes collaboration happen almost in real time. Being able to check what everyone else on the team is handling is a huge plus. Even the free version is surprisingly capable and does more than enough for small teams or businesses. Attaching smaller files is really useful and if you need to upload bigger files or want support, the paid plans are fairly priced. Setting up multiple boards and staying updated as projects move forward is simple to manage. The interface is clean and pleasant and overall it performs very well compared with other task and project management platforms.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve at first and adding tasks or projects that are already in progress can feel somewhat awkward. If you're involved in many projects at once, the number of notifications can become a bit too much. Still, once you understand how everything works, it's not too hard to stay oriented.

fantastic for team coordination

Pros

After using the platform for many years, my overall experience has been very positive. It works really well for organizing and assigning tasks and it makes collaboration across different teams and projects much more manageable.

Cons

There is not much to complain about. At times some third-party integrations do not work perfectly but the issues are minor and mostly limited to the user interface rather than anything critical.

organized boards

Pros

The software really shines when it comes to keeping all the important files for a project in one place where they're simple to locate. Being able to drag and drop photos directly onto a card is something I use all the time. I also really enjoy the workflow my company follows, moving cards from left to right across different lists because it makes it very clear how quickly teammates are getting through their tasks. The updated notifications tab has been a nice improvement too since I can check a card's edit history without fully opening it. It's also helpful that some notifications can be marked as read while others stay unread. I'd still love to see this expanded by letting users add a comment from the notifications tab itself instead of having to open the card. The search feature is also incredibly valuable. On a shared board with hundreds of cards, tracking down something from weeks or even months ago would be a headache without it. I rely on search constantly throughout the day.

Cons

At times, this software can feel a little outdated. One thing that regularly annoys me is how clicking anywhere on a card closes the description field and throws up the "Unsaved edits have been made" message. It really feels like it should autosave as soon as you click outside the text box. This happens often enough that it becomes a repeated frustration and a real time-waster. I've also had drag and drop fail pretty often when moving cards, with the card just staying where it was instead of moving. Because of that bug, I usually end up using the card's dropdown menu to move things around instead. Still, it would be much better if the drag and drop function worked more reliably.

Clear priorities lists

Pros

This platform has been most useful for keeping track of all my pending tasks and organizing them by priority. Since I work with a team, it has also helped a lot with communication and keeping everyone well organized and aligned.

Cons

At this point, the only thing that has been a bit annoying is the number of email notifications I get. That said, it's something I can adjust in the settings so I honestly don't have any major complaints about it.

works well for all departments

Pros

Switching between boards for different projects felt very natural and moving cards into the "complete" column had a workflow that reminded me of deal stages which fit really well with my sales and marketing work. It's not just useful for tech teams either, this tool works just as well for BD, Sales, Marketing and other departments.

Cons

Once a board builds up with a large number of cards, loading starts to slow down. Part of that was on me for not archiving older items but since we wanted to keep a "task completed" board visible for tracking purposes, it still felt like there wasn't much we could do to avoid the performance drop.

love this tool

Pros

Right away, the design of this software drew me in. It looks incredibly appealing which actually makes me want to check in on my to-do lists more often. Being able to share a list with other people and view their comments is something I really appreciate. It also helps me keep track of my progress on the things that matter most and the drag and drop cards give it the feel of moving notes around on a poster board. On top of that, there are thousands of background images to choose from which really helps create the right vibe for getting work done.

Cons

What I wish were better is being able to rearrange the order of lists within the cards more easily and at times the card description section feels unnecessary which leaves some extra blank space.

very effective

Pros

Two things give the platform a real advantage and make it a strong project management choice: it's simple and effective. The interface is so accessible that it can actually be fun to use while still being powerful enough to support as many users as needed in the system. It also includes the core features you expect from a solid manager, like adding items to task lists, setting deadlines, creating alerts and more. Team collaboration works through a very dynamic board where every member can interact in real time and instantly see the changes others make. The activity log is also very good for reviewing edits and tracking what has happened and the email notifications are quite useful. On top of that, the learning curve is short which makes this tool an excellent option when choosing a project manager.

Cons

An area where this tool still falls a bit short is with notifications outside the application especially when it comes to updates. It could also benefit from adding a broader set of optional features to further improve workflows and make it feel like a more complete project management solution.

best option!

Pros

This tool has easily been the best option I've used for tracking progress on small to mid-sized projects. The column-based layout makes boards very manageable and being able to create as many as needed for free is a big plus. The newer label filters are excellent for finding things quickly and keeping everything organized. Pricing also feels fair and affordable compared with other tools in the same space. I've used this software for years, not only for work projects but also for personal errands and to-do lists. I'd absolutely recommend it for agile project management especially Scrum and Kanban although it can definitely work well with other PM frameworks too.

Cons

The biggest missing piece is analytics and reporting. There are no built-in metrics, not even something basic like a burndown chart. You can add that kind of functionality through third-party add-ons but they tend to be outdated, complicated and nowhere near as good as having it natively included. For such a widely used project management tool, that feels like a major downside. Another issue is that you can export a project board but there's no import option. Aside from those gaps, it's still a pretty easy tool to use.

map out any project

Pros

The app's Kanban-style boards make it really simple to map out large, complicated projects or even keep a master list of ongoing work in one place. It also connects with a lot of commonly used tools like GitHub, Google Drive, IFTTT and plenty of others which makes it even more useful. The product keeps improving too since the team rolls out updates on a regular basis. I've recommended the platform to quite a few colleagues and even helped drive adoption of it at two different companies.

Cons

There's very little to complain about with this tool. The only thing I'd like changed is the limit on how many free months of the premium plan you can earn by inviting friends and coworkers. It caps out at 12 months and I've brought in more than four times that number of people.

It'll keep your life organized

Pros

This platform has been a huge help when it comes to keeping both my work and everyday life organized. Being able to set up separate boards and lists for different areas makes everything feel much less chaotic and a lot more manageable. I also really enjoy customizing each board with different backgrounds and designs which helps keep things visually clear and distinct. It works really well for collaboration too since I can share boards with team members, work together on projects, assign tasks and set due dates. The Power-Ups add even more value by connecting the software with other apps like Dropbox which expands what it can do. On top of that, the iOS app has been incredibly useful and convenient.

Cons

Not much to complain about with the software. My only real issue is that I wish more Power-Ups were included for free. If you want to fully benefit from all the extra features they offer, the cost can add up pretty quickly.

Checklists alternative

Pros

As someone who loves working with checklists, this software has been a fantastic fit. It gives me a clear view of my tasks, what I've already completed and everything still sitting in my backlog. I can also keep up with what my coworkers are doing and see how their parts of our projects are progressing. Another big plus is how well it connects with other apps like Slack which makes the whole workflow feel even better.

Cons

I want more freedom in the way boards can be arranged, even if the setup would only make sense to me. Having that kind of flexibility would make it feel more like a real board where you can place things anywhere you want.

helps with organization

Pros

This software does a really good job of helping organize the activities and subtasks needed to complete a process. It's very user friendly and quick to learn and being able to attach files directly to tasks is a big plus. The deadline alerts are also useful and one of the best parts is that the whole team can stay informed about the progress and status of the assigned activities.

Cons

Tasks and activities can't really be reviewed, assigned or managed without an internet connection. On top of that, within a board or card, members have to be labeled one at a time instead of in bulk. The biggest downside is that there's no way to set a priority order for labels.

fitting for weekly planning

Pros

One of the best parts is how well it works for planning out an entire week. I can split the board into columns for each day, then add tasks under every day and use colored labels to quickly tell what each one is for, whether it's work, leisure or something at home. It also lets me set time limits which helps me keep track of when a task should be completed.

Cons

The weak point is the notifications. There are times when I don't receive alerts for a reminder set for a specific date and time or for an event inside a project. Because of that, it becomes harder to rely on it by itself and I end up having to put everything into Google Calendar as well.

customizable but rigid layout

Pros

Getting started with this tool was easy and most of my teammates who had never used it before were able to pick up how it works very quickly. It's also flexible enough to customize based on individual needs which makes it useful for different working styles.

Cons

Overall layout feels too fixed, with all cards arranged from left to right. I'd really prefer more flexibility in how the layout can be structured.

best tool

Pros

I honestly can't believe how long I went without this software. It's easily the best organizational app I've ever used. It fixes this problem by giving you the flexibility to adapt as needed while still keeping projects tracked properly.

Cons

The only real issue is the recent UI change and there's no option to keep using the original version. Aside from that, I don't have any complaints.

love the integrations

Pros

The app does an excellent job of organizing projects into boards, with cards representing each task in a Kanban-style workflow. The layout is very visual which makes collaboration with teammates feel natural and efficient. Another big advantage is how many integrations it offers, including Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket, along with Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, Assembla, Evernote, GitHub, Salesforce, Intercom and many others.

Cons

There is nothing especially negative to point out. If I had to mention one area that could be better, it would be the time-tracking features but aside from that, this tool is an excellent tool that fits well not only in professional settings but also in everyday personal use.

drag and drop setup

Pros

Using it feels pretty easy thanks to the drag and drop setup and an accessible interface but it still has enough power to handle team management well. The time-tracking side is really helpful for keeping a specific project or task organized. It also makes collaboration much better for remote team members and my team can quickly see what is coming up next in the task pipeline.

Cons

Free version misses some core project management features like Gantt charts, built-in time-tracking components and reporting tools. At the beginning, navigating and managing cards was a bit confusing although once I got used to it, it became extremely effective. There's also no option to hide certain cards from specific team members or make selected cards public to everyone. Customer support can also be slower to respond than I would prefer.

easy and simple

Pros

If you already know Kanban or SCRUM, it doesn't take long to adjust at all. The interface is simple, easy and accessible, plus it includes labels, card estimates and most of the features you typically need at no cost.

Cons

For a Project Manager needing a full SCRUM framework to monitor projects in detail, it may come up short. There are add-ons available but adding them often means signing in, signing up and then getting used to another tool each time.

For personal and work stuff

Pros

Having a list-based setup really helps keep everything organized. I've used it for both work and personal stuff. On the business side, it's been useful for collaborating on project to-dos and being able to move cards around between columns with drag and drop makes managing progress really convenient. For personal use, I've relied on it for things like grocery lists and even wedding planning.

Cons

A small annoyance is how deleting cards works. It may sound minor but I wish there were a direct delete option instead of having to archive a card first and then go back and remove it.
