It would be great to assign labels to activities or at least denote their importance or categorize them by means other than date.

Accessing a Gantt chart requires Elegantt and setting it up can be challenging. It does not consistently work in every account.

The UI of Trello reflects an incredibly intuitive design. It features a builtin automation mechanism that speeds up routine processes. While the base plan limits users to a kanban board opting for the premium version unlocks additional settings.

While the kanban system may not always be the best choice for project management upgrading is necessary for access to advanced features. Additional layers may be required to bring order to Trello especially in multistep processes or when dealing with more than a handful of colorcoded labels. Managing becomes challenging as projects expand.

Its effectiveness depends on usage. It works well for linear projects with a few stakeholders. When planning multiple complex projects it's advisable to switch to Confluence.
