“Responsive Technical Support”
Pros
The Vidyo Platform is renowned for its flexibility, user-friendliness, competitive pricing and responsive technical support. Unlike other platforms, we have not encountered any freezing or interface issues. Vidyo is an ideal choice for businesses.
Cons
Specifically for business meetings, the platform lacks smoothness, which limits its usability.

On rare occasions the video can freeze for a moment.

“Works even on weak bandwidth”
Pros
Audio and video stay clear without distortion and it remains very dependable even when bandwidth is limited.
Cons
The downside wasn't with the product itself but our company ended up choosing Microsoft's alternative instead of this software.

“Secure conferencing that just works”
Pros
Getting into meetings is simple and the platform seems secure while delivering uninterrupted audio and video conferencing throughout.
Cons
I have not come across any real shortcomings in this app since it supported me in every way during the lockdown period.

“good for calls every time”
Pros
After using Webex, Microsoft Teams and Zoom, I'd say this app comes out ahead. It is very simple to use and I have not run into any connectivity problems at all.
Cons
It does not offer as many features as some of the other platforms. Things like emoticons and background changes aren't available.

It lets me stay connected and communicate online with peers which is the part that matters most.
Cons
At times it seems a bit complex and the overall experience could definitely use some modernization.

“excellent streaming quality”
Pros
Getting started with Vidyo is not a problem and the overall design is clean. The streaming quality is also very good.
Cons
One issue I noticed is that it shuts down when trying to connect through a VPN tunnel.

“video quality for events is top notch”
Pros
Across our organization, ir has been the best tool for all kinds of events, from town halls and team calls to company wide meetings and virtual trade shows with clients. Scheduling Vidyo rooms is very simple and the video quality is one of the biggest reasons it stands out. Overall those features really give it an advantage over other options on the market.
Cons
Every now and then, I run into compatibility issues between it like with our security settings or a client's firewall which can stop participants from getting into the Vidyo room.

“Pretty easy to use tool”
Pros
It's a user friendly platform but it delivers exactly what it promises. It gives people a simple way to connect over one on one video calls or join larger group sessions where everyone signs in separately.
Cons
Because it's such a basic tool, it doesn't feel very flashy and it doesn't offer a lot of different ways to communicate. Also it is not really an all-in-one communication platform but when it comes to video, it does the job really well.

“Easy to use but joining calls is problematic”
Pros
Being able to connect with coworkers across our entire school system without having to leave my classroom was the part I appreciated most about this software.
Cons
The toughest part was getting into a room meeting in the first place. Once I was connected, the video quality was good but actually joining the room was consistently a problem.

“Saves driving time”
Pros
Using this for meetings has been really amazing especially as a PRN employee. Plus being able to join through Vidyo instead of making a 25 minute drive is a huge time-saver.
Cons
Every now and then the video quality glitches a bit but it usually doesn't last long.

“Great for meetings”
Pros
For our bi-weekly conference hearings this served us well. As it's simple to work with and easy to manage which makes things much easier in the office. Plus our attendees are located all over the country and everyone is still able to log in without much trouble, see one another clearly and participate in meetings effectively.
Cons
The downside is that the software doesn't feel especially powerful beyond its core purpose. It handles video conferencing really well but we haven't seen much value in using it for anything outside of that. A lot of other platforms are built more specifically for document sharing, screen sharing, presentations, training sessions and similar tasks so I'd probably consider another option if that were the main need.

“Good for basic calls”
Pros
Vidyo works really well for connections, whether it's a group call or a one on one conversation. The functionality also seems clear and uncomplicated and setting up a meeting or joining a call is quick and hassle-free.
Cons
One thing to keep in mind is that it is a bit limited for things like content sharing, including file sharing and screen sharing. So If you need something for more advanced situations like webinars or live classes, another platform may be a better fit even though it is excellent for basic video conversations.

“Pretty easy to use and access”
Pros
I must say getting into meetings is not a problem anymore because the access instructions are simple and clear for everyone. We had been using Google Hangouts before but when we needed to meet with people outside our organization, it became inconvenient since some of them did not have Gmail accounts and had to create Google accounts first which was a hassle for them.
Cons
Even with the clear instructions some users were still a little hesitant about trying new technology. Aside from that, it worked really well.

“improved remote work”
Pros
Working with remote employees has become much better with this system. Screen sharing makes meetings more engaging and helps strengthen communication between team members. We have also given key users their own rooms so they can set up video or audio calls on their own without needing extra coordination. That has made conference call scheduling much more efficient for us.
Cons
The downside is not really with the system itself but more with user training. Some of our volunteers deal with a lot of feedback coming from their setups and while we can mute the line in some cases, it does not always work.

“Way too easy to setup”
Pros
It was easy to set up and running and inviting others into a call is just as simple. Plus the layout makes screen sharing a simple task too and the chat is basic in a good way while still keeping people highly engaged. The call quality has consistently been one of its best features too.
Cons
One small annoyance is that it seems to need updates pretty often across its platforms which makes the stay logged in feature less dependable than it should be. Also it can be a bit frustrating when you are trying to sign in quickly and end up needing to install an update or enter your credentials again. Still it is a very minor issue overall.
