“Avoid Weekdone at all costs

Pros

I found Weekdone very helpful and the best at first but it quickly becomes confused.

Cons

The program is poorly constructed. It starts off well but quickly becomes very disorganized. I would recommend using a different program. Personally I switched to Ally. The pricing model at Weekdone is also "ridiculous." They charge a fixed package price which means if you have only 6 users, you end up paying more per user compared to other platforms that charge per user.

Pros

Setting up and managing Weekdone is super easy and the content provides excellent guidance. The flexibility and dashboard presentation are great.

Cons

It took me some time to familiarize myself with a few of the UI tricks (such as notes on a KR) and the persistent email reminders.

“Easy to use for everyone

Pros

Its effortless to track the progress of my teammates on shared projects using Weekdone. It helps me stay focused, and the usability is top notch.

Cons

The program operates quite smoothly. I cannot think of any drawbacks at the moment.

Pros

The softwares features are fantastic. The weekly planning feature holds me accountable for completing my OKRs and I even abandoned other tools once I started using it.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve when using Weekdone. It can be confusing at the beginning but with assistance from the Weekdone support team makes everything much clearer on how to set up teams within the software.

“Weekdone = Work Done

Pros

Our organization decided to give Weekdone a try and it served us a lot better than our expectations. The onboarding process was incredibly smooth, and the tool was explained clearly and transparently. Implementing it was a breeze, and it helped us prioritize tasks and ensure their completion.

Cons

While I appreciate the onboarding process it can be a bit overwhelming for new users. However I believe it is just a matter of time and can ultimately lead to an exceptional user experience. Additionally the mobile app could use some improvement.

“Weekdone is simple and very helpful

Pros

I believe Weekdone has a wide range of highly useful features. from the OKR philosophy to simple tools for weekly reporting, goal setting, communication and feedback. I recently started using Weekdone in conjunction with Zapier to automate task integration from my daily calendar and it works wonderfully. The customer support and interaction with the development team are exceptional, and they genuinely care about meeting your needs. Kudos to them!

Cons

Sometimes I wish there was a better way to understand how my feedback will be incorporated into new releases especially for the features that I've requested and find essential. Furthermore although the dashboard for quantitative progress analysis is highly beneficial, it can be somewhat cryptic. I would prefer a more straightforward approach to reflecting progress on tasks/OKRs from the individual to the company level.

“Great experience, great weekly report / management software.

Pros

Weekdones methodology (PPP) is excellent and it pushes continuous improvement forward with transparent OKR/KR tracking. It enables team members to demonstrate their contributions to the company's growth and goals through weekly tasks linked to OKR/KR. Weekdone replaced our outdated process of using inaccessible Excel/Word documents, which were primarily filled out by end-users without providing much value. With Weekdone, we can now plan our upcoming week effectively.

Cons

For now I have not encountered any issues. I did experience crashes with the mobile app in the past but those problems have been resolved.

I don't have any concerns at the moment. All the ideas I had are already in their development phase. I am eagerly anticipating the addition of the yearly sprint feature.

Pros

Weekdone is user friendly, also visually and functionally well designed. The team behind it is responsive and genuinely passionate about the product. I am a big fan and have recommended it to several small, rapidly growing companies as an essential part of their operations stack.

Cons

There are moments where its apparent that there are two separate systems (weekly Plans/Progress/Problems and quarterly OKRs). However with each release, these distinctions diminish as the product becomes more integrated. The most challenging aspect has nothing to do with the software itself. its having the internal discipline to use it regularly.

Weekdone empowers us to fully adopt the OKR methodology and it is user friendly for everyone in the company. The weekly reports are particularly beneficial for managers and executives.

The user experience (UX) can be complicated at times. but they consistently make improvements, and its continuously becoming better and more intuitive.
