Pros
This software feels very easy to use and the way it's set up for digging deeper into data is really well thought out. It also handles expense categorization, staff tracking and pretty much everything you'd expect from a POS platform. Also the software itself is matched (if not surpassed) by the service team. Their response time is unbelievably fast and they're consistently willing to walk us through their structure, payment processing and any part of the system setup we have questions about. They've put in a lot of effort to help us figure out the best ways to use the product and plan for future integrations. We've changed hardware a few times and every single time they've been ready to help with setup, troubleshooting and optimizing the system. I really can't say enough about how capable and responsive their service team is when it comes to handling questions and resolving issues.
Cons
The biggest gap right now is that several parts of the system could use more customization. These aren't major deal breaking changes but there are certain things we'd prefer to handle differently especially when it comes to building our own reports. We need to look at certain data in ways that don't always match standard business models so this may be more specific to our operation than something every customer would need. That said we've already talked through these requests with them and they've been very open to the feedback. There will always be more features and capabilities any business could ask for and our main concern was whether they'd be willing to consider these improvements and they absolutely have been.

“Amazing support!”
Pros
After bringing this software into our taproom we've noticed better guest engagement and an increase in sales. The handheld devices have been a huge part of helping our servers perform well. The connection between the in house system and the online store works flawlessly and inventory updates reflect very quickly whenever changes are made. The support team is easily one of their biggest strengths. We're extremely happy to have them as part of our operation!
Cons
The shorthand used on printed tickets does take a little time to learn but like any new process that can be handled with the right in house training.

Pros
There are plenty of reports and useful features built into it and the customer service has been excellent whenever I've needed help.
Cons
I'd still like to see better email options for reaching loyalty customers and digital gift cards would be a really helpful addition.

“Great Integrations”
Pros
Being able to connect it with our current finance and production systems has saved us a ton of time. It's also made opening and managing additional locations much more manageable. Another big plus is that it keeps rolling out new features to better serve customers and their support team has been outstanding.
Cons
One feature that would really help is an enterprise level option for updating menus across multiple locations at once though I understand that's already being worked on. Also the card swipers can be a little difficult at times.

“qr ordering boosts service”
Pros
Getting QR code ordering up and running happened very quickly for us. Since adding online ordering through QR we've been able to grow the business and make our front of house operations more efficient at the same time. The interface is user friendly and looks polished for customers and it feels competitive with more premium systems like Square and Toast.
Cons
From time to time we run into printer problems and some tickets get lost during service. We've already checked and troubleshot our internet and router settings and those don't seem to be the cause. At this point the biggest issue is dropped tickets and inconsistent ticket printer performance.

“backend that just works”
Pros
The backend is built to do the job and that's exactly why I appreciate it. It's not trying to look flashy or overly polished, it's clearly designed to function well and it really does.
Cons
Every now and then we run into a feature that isn't immediately clear but support gets us sorted out within minutes. I'd also love to see better integration with other platforms like Untappd though it's nowhere near enough of an issue to make us consider switching.

Pros
Getting started with this system doesn't take much effort at all. Training is pretty minimal and it's easy for customers, admins and staff alike. That overall usability is the biggest advantage. You can really tell it was built with input from both industry experts and technology professionals because the design feels thoughtful and very user friendly.
Cons
From a data perspective I'd still love a bit more flexibility in the reporting. For instance when we ran a ticketed event it would have been really helpful to have a simpler way to generate a list of purchasers whether by email address or the name on the credit card.

“scalable setup”
Pros
To get it up and running is simple, the upfront cost stays low and it scales without a lot of toruble. Compared with many competing systems it feels much less clunky and inconvenient. Since they're a tech first company, support is simple to reach and you're dealing directly with their team rather than a reseller or outside third party. They actually pay attention to your concerns and when something urgent comes up they treat it like it matters just as much to them which really makes it feel like you're working with the same team when issues happen.
Cons
Reporting still has room for improvement. That said I can hardly think of any software where reporting is truly perfect. From what I've seen their team is genuinely putting in the effort to deliver the data in the format we need for the large Power BI dashboard system we're trying to finish.

“powerful bulk closeout”
Pros
Bulk closeout has been great to use. The dashboard is really helpful because it gives a quick snapshot of the day's sales along with comparative data. Creating new products is very simple and the clone feature is especially valuable when rolling out a large new product line since it lets us model it after a previous launch.
Cons
A few additions would make it even better. Being able to drag and drop buttons on the backend would help streamline the tablet interface. The current numbered column system takes quite a bit of planning for each item which is challenging with a constantly changing menu. It would also be useful to have venue filters for reporting so sales and tip totals by venue could be calculated directly instead of needing to do the math manually. Another improvement would be giving administrators the ability to clock employees in and out from the tablet without having to look up their login number. That would be a big help for both payroll and daily service.

“Built for brewery operations”
Pros
Coming from a cheaper and more generic POS that tried to serve everyone this software has been a much better fit for our brewery. A lot of the features and reports we rely on every day were already built into the system which saved us a ton of extra work. With our previous provider I had to create Python scripts through their API just to produce many of the daily reports we needed. Another advantage is how innovative their team is. The product keeps evolving instead of sitting still and we've seen plenty of new features added over time. Those updates have really helped a mid sized brewery like ours keep up with a business environment that is becoming more and more digital and online.
Cons
Biggest drawback was giving up the option to use our own merchant card processor. That change raised our POS costs quite a bit. Even so the value we get from the platform offsets most of that added expense. Beyond that managing a multi site business in any POS can get complicated. I don't see that as a software specific problem so much as a general challenge with POS systems overall. When a product has to support different business models it naturally comes with more features and more setup time. This software seems to have done a solid job of making the setup as manageable as possible while still allowing the customization you need. My biggest advice to new users would be to give the onboarding plenty of time and thought because your future self will definitely appreciate it.

“Flexible tablets”
Pros
One of the biggest wins with the software has been how simple it is to add another tablet or handheld whenever we need it. We host some very large events and festivals at our brewery so being able to bring on extra devices and take more orders has absolutely paid off. A lot of POS platforms lock you into a limited number of tablets or readers but this one gives us the flexibility to scale up when things get busy and that has definitely improved the guest experience. We moved over to this in October 2019 and when the Covid shutdown hit in March 2020 they pivoted incredibly fast. They put together an online store and ordering platform for the craft industry right when businesses needed it most. The quick rollout of online ordering and mobile tabs truly helped us stay afloat. Another thing I appreciate is that Arryved keeps evolving. New features continue to roll out and they tend to be very staff friendly while also making things better for customers. OpenTab has been an especially strong feature for us.
Cons
Since we recently added a kitchen to our brewery there are a few smaller programming issues that make ringing in food items a little less quick for bartenders and servers than it could be. It's not slowing us down in a major way and we're still moving fast but it feels like that part of the workflow could be more organized. I've shared those concerns with their team and I was recently told that one of the updates I've been waiting for should be released later this month. Because they keep improving the system and adding features I honestly expect this to stop being an issue before long.

Monthly state tax reporting is very easy and being able to track sales dollars in real time is a big plus. The support team has also been very helpful whenever needed.
Cons

“Easy bar service upgrade”
Pros
Right from the start it has felt very easy for both admins and everyday users. Training new bartenders takes very little time because the system works the way they naturally expect it to. It also helps us deliver service much faster and on our busiest days we've actually been able to reduce the bar staff from 7 people to 6.
Cons
At the moment I don't really have any complaints. On the rare occasion something goes wrong like a printer disconnecting customer support responds very quickly and is always helpful.

“Great Analytics”
Pros
Having the dashboard available on the go is incredibly convenient. That quick snapshot gives me peace of mind anytime I need to step away from the business. The reporting is a huge plus too especially being able to drill down into specific numbers when making decisions which was something our previous POS really lacked. The hardware also feels much less bulky and intrusive than other systems we've used and it's flexible enough to customize around what we need. We talk up the back end analytics all the time and honestly just as valuable as the platform itself are the people behind it. We're now in year three using this software and still discovering new ways to improve how we operate. Whenever we need help with a new process or want to set up another function the support team is there to walk us through it. We truly appreciate that they pick up the phone and are always pleasant to work with. Overall we're very happy with it and at this point they've got us for the long haul.
Cons
There are still a few small details missing in the system. That said anytime we bring up one of those needs, the support team responds quickly and gets to work. One feature we'd really like is the option to map different sales categories into QuickBooks separately like food versus draft beer sales.

Using it has been a really positive experience. It's user friendly, efficient and loaded with features that make sales tracking and reporting incredibly useful. Because it's cloud based I can update and adjust menus remotely without any trouble and it doesn't take much hardware to get up and running. It also includes extras like offline mode which has been a lifesaver when the internet goes down and a donation prompt at checkout that lets guests directly support our partner charities.
Cons
I haven't come across any downsides with it yet.

“Good reporting and support”
Pros
One of the biggest strengths here is the reporting. There are so many reports available that I'm still getting familiar with all of them and that's a good problem to have. After going through a training session most of the features and overall usability became very simple. Whenever a question comes up the knowledge base is extensive enough that the answer is usually right there so reaching out to support rarely feels necessary. Our staff has run into very few issues while using the software and when something does come up it's usually just user error on my end. Those situations are typically resolved very quickly.
Cons
There really aren't many downsides to mention. If I had to be picky I'd say the UI could use a bit more polish to match the cleaner look of some competing products. Even so I tend to care more about function than appearance so it has never been a deal breaker for me.

Everything about this software feels very easy and user friendly. Training new employees or temporary staff is quick and uncomplicated which saves a lot of time. As an admin I can also make updates remotely and have those changes go live right away which is incredibly convenient.
Cons
Credit card swiper hardware can be a bit difficult at times and when that happens cards have to be entered manually.
