Pros

All in one vacation rental powerhouse

Pros

Running our vacation rental business has become much more organized with this software. The system is easy to use, packed with the professional features needed for operations of any size and the reporting tools cover everything we need and more. It connects smoothly with other booking platforms and we can assign different levels of access to employees depending on their roles. Having everything brought together in one platform has completely transformed the way we work. Also the customer support has been outstanding! Dependable, responsive and quick to help whenever needed. Definitely recommend it.

Cons

Getting everything configured at the beginning was a bit inconvenient mostly because we did not yet know the right questions to ask. That said our assigned contact was there to guide us through each step of the setup and continued helping with any questions afterward. With so many features there is naturally some difficulty to get used to but they do provide plenty of resources to help along the way.

reliable fit for our team

Pros

After using the software for several years we're still extremely satisfied with it. We tested a number of other options before deciding and this turned out to be the best choice for us. Its user friendly design matters a lot because it cuts down training time for new hires and helps reduce the chance of mistakes.

Cons

It includes all the features we need and everything is easy to locate and use. Don't have any cons to report.

booking integrations work really well

Pros

Getting this software up and running went quite well especially when connecting it to our website for online reservations and to Expedia and Tripadvisor for direct bookings. It also handles seasonal pricing nicely so setting different rates for Christmas, summer, rainy season and other date ranges is very simple.

Cons

One thing that would really help is having more language options in the admin area. Since we operate in Costa Rica and Spanish is the local language some of our employees have a bit of difficulty using that section.

Useful Reports

Pros

Very simple to use and get used to. The agents are quick to respond and clearly know the product well and the reporting system has been very helpful.

Cons

It still doesn't fully integrate or pull in all the information needed from guests or online travel agencies.

Pros

Was easy to get started with and not complicated and reaching the support team is also simple whenever help is needed.

Cons

At times some features don't come with instructions or tutorial videos to explain how they work. It would be helpful to have at least an FAQ section that gives users the basic information they need.

solid support

Pros

After using this for the past two years it has proven to be very functional, user friendly and effective for our small hotel. The reports are organized well and give us useful insights for analysis. The yield feature in the PMS has also helped us improve ADR and overall revenue. On top of that the support team has been helpful whenever needed.

Cons

A few of the reports are a bit too complex for front end users.

Flexible room scheduling

Pros

Using it daily feels very easy and accessible. The reservation view is clear and easy to scan and I appreciate being able to check bookings a few days out or even a full month ahead without any trouble. We host cancer patients in treatment, relatives of critical care patients, medical students and medical staff so being able to separate room types for different kinds of guests is really valuable. It also lets us adjust schedules quickly whenever plans change.

Cons

The reporting section offers so many different options that it can be hard at times to understand the report titles and locate the exact one I need. Once I sort out which report does what though using it is simple.

mobile check-ins and quick training

Pros

Being cloud based is probably my favorite part of it. I can literally open it on my phone to check in a guest or ring up a retail charge which is incredibly convenient. Another big plus is how quickly it makes sense. Training usually takes up a lot of time but with this new users can pick it up fast. Even without any previous experience using a PMS the system is easy enough to understand without much trouble.

Cons

One thing I still wish it had is a beginner friendly 'how to' guidebook. Not every PMS includes one and I've had to create those kinds of materials myself for other systems before. It does offer a wide range of help pages for specific functions which is useful but it would still be nice to have a proper welcome guide that starts with the basics.

very user friendly overall

Pros

One of the best parts about the software is how user friendly it is. Everything feels easy and simple to work with.

Cons

The only real issue I've noticed is the loading problem with rooms that have been in the system for several months. Other than that there's really nothing else to complain about.

A cloud based PMS that's easy to use and the customer service has been consistently good whenever needed.

A downside is that integrating it with credit card processing can get expensive.

Impressive system

Pros

I'm genuinely impressed by how user friendly the system is.

Cons

It doesn't include built in credit card protection so we had to bring in an outside vendor for CC security. There are also no tiered rates available and it only allows one rate per room type instead of setting rates based on length of stay. That really limits revenue opportunities.

Easy log in

Pros

One of the best parts of it is being able to log in from anywhere :) It lets us check information, make updates and handle changes quickly without being tied to the office. We can assist guests beyond normal business hours and everything can still be managed internally. As a General Manager I can pull reports, review daily transactions and access just about anything else I need no matter where I am in the world.

Cons

We've been using this software since 2013 and I've been completely satisfied with both the software and the customer service. Honestly I wouldn't change a thing.

Handy PMS with Strong Reporting

Pros

After more than four years of using the software it has proven to be a convenient and dependable PMS for our team. The parts I appreciate most are the payment system and the reporting features which have been especially useful in daily operations.

Cons

There is still room to improve especially on the reporting side. It would be much better if there were a single report that combined the Manager's Report, Trial Balance, Check Inhouse and CC Payments instead of keeping them separate.

amazing support team throughout

Pros

Ever since I stepped into this role in September 2017 the support team has been outstanding. India Metz in particular has been incredibly helpful, patient and supportive especially when I've made mistakes along the way. I'm truly grateful for everything she has done. And whenever she hasn't been available the rest of the team has been just as dependable. Overall this has been a major asset to our daily operations and I couldn't ask for a better system or a better group of people behind it. Thank you to India and the entire team for being so friendly, professional, patient and consistently helpful.

Clear Screens and Quick Learning!

Pros

Getting started with this software is very simple. New team members pick it up quickly which saves us time and the screen layout is clear. It also includes all the features we need for our everyday work.

Cons

There are still a few reports I wish were included such as lead time for bookings. Even so it covers the basic functions we need overall.

Training is effortless

Pros

Being web based makes a huge difference because I can manage all of my hotel properties from anywhere in the world even from my smartphone. The room grid gives a really clear picture of occupancy and which rooms are still available. It's also very user friendly so bringing new employees up to speed is simple and keeps training time and costs down.

Cons

Like any software this has the occasional glitch so it's not completely free of issues. That said whenever something comes up the customer service and support team has always been quick to respond and help.

solid fit for our property

Pros

For a property our size this software works well. The pricing is reasonable and it does what we need it to do.

Cons

Revenue management tools are fairly limited and still need a lot of manual data entry instead of allowing large batch uploads or bulk rate changes. It can also be glitchy from time to time and having ad hoc reporting features would make it much more useful.
