Managing finances, scheduling rent and utilities and communicating with my tenant are made easy through messaging and electronic document filing.

Cons

I encountered some difficulties when trying to remove an old bank account. Its hard to tell if it was my mistake or a software issue.

Pros

The primary features I use are the rent payment options and maintenance requests. I have mainly used it for managing rent payments, income and electronic payments as well as handling maintenance requests. It has greatly helped me keep track of rent payments, and my tenants prefer setting up automatic electronic payments for their rent. The convenience of tenants reaching out to me through Hemlane.com for maintenance and repair issues is a major plus. It makes it much easier to track and address any concerns, and it's less stressful to be contacted in that manner.

Cons

Currently I have no major complaints. I am genuinely satisfied with it overall.

Pros

Having a single platform that allows me to advertise my property, communicate with tenants, conduct screenings and use online payments has been a game changer. It has allowed me to manage my properties independently, even though I wasn't tech savvy and hadn't used any other software before. During the free trial period the customer service provided was exceptionally helpful. The support team guided me through Zoom meetings and continued to assist me through calls and emails even after the trial ended. Most of the issues I encountered were due to my own understanding of the functionality but they were quick to provide solutions. It only took me two weekends to learn the software. My tenants love the convenience of the online bank transfer feature and the ability to directly message me.

Cons

I still have a minor issues with the financial and record keeping section. Other than that everything is fine

Pros

Hemlane is user friendly, intuitive and offers all the necessary features for property management. The financials page provides a comprehensive overview of outstanding rent and payments, and invoicing tenants is a breeze.

Cons

I am not sure if this is a software function but it takes at least 3 business days for rent payments to be deposited into my bank account. I am not fond of that delay.

The best feature by far is the outstanding support! Hemlane is truly amazing and the administrator who guided us is exceptional.

There is nothing to complain about. It is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it!

The software is incredibly user friendly. My clients navigate through the platform with ease and I receive notifications promptly, allowing me to respond quickly. Paying rent is convenient and hassle free compared to traditional methods.

Pros

The best part of the software is the option for tenants to request service and repairs through the portal. It gives my small company a professional touch, making it feel like a large corporation.

The software is amazing but the tenant needs to log in and set up their end. It would be simpler if they only had to confirm their email address with a single click.

Pros

The cost is fair and the software is not very high. It provides the level of detail and organization I need to manage my small portfolio of rentals. I particularly appreciate the ability to market properties directly from the software and it offers great value compared to other products on the market.

Cons

I would really like to have the option to further customize expense categories for the propertys cash flow section. However as I continue to learn and become more familiar with the software I have found suitable workarounds. It would be beneficial if the expense categories matched those on a Schedule E tax form. Additionally the online application information required from applicants is a bit lacking and brief. More detailed requirements would be helpful.

The software is easy to use and the customer support team is excellent. It keeps everything organized.

Cons

No major issues yet Just a few hurdles since this is a relatively new system... specifically with work orders. Since we pay them on the same date every month its difficult to quickly see which orders have been completed. It would be helpful to have visible notifications on each work order for new messages, added invoices, completion dates etc Overall everyone has been extremely helpful with any questions!
