“A well rounded software package.
Pros
Among the numerous notable features of the software, the Tool and Calibration system offered by Intellect deserves special mention. This particular application has proven invaluable in streamlining a previously challenging area for our organization. Another standout feature is the software's capability to create custom applications, allowing us to tailor the solution to our precise needs. This level of customization extends not only to the apps we purchased but also to our own designs, ensuring a perfect fit for our requirements. With Intellect, we are not limited to pre-determined designs that may not align perfectly with our needs, offering us the flexibility we desire.
Cons
App development can sometimes be challenging to get right due to the interconnected nature of various components.

“Gilero
Pros
The software's customizability allows us to align it with our existing Quality Management System structure and procedures, instead of revamping our processes to match the software.
Cons
Troubleshooting can be a time-consuming process, even with support from Intellect. The audit trail feature is lacking in quality.

“Powerful platform and easy to configure and build apps without knowing coding

“Intellect Provides Value
Pros
The ability to customize the software to match our specific processes has been extremely beneficial. Streamlining and automating workflows for consistent, global processes has resulted in valuable resource savings. The software's user-friendly and intuitive nature makes training easier and shortens the learning curve.
Cons
Occasionally, the software presents unexpected challenges, but Intellect Customer Support is always there to assist. It would be helpful to have more comprehensive and readily available training documentation for apps to reduce reliance on customer support.

“Ease of configurability helps us meet our compliance needs
Pros
The designer user experience is intuitive and enjoyable, thanks to the drag-and-drop technology. Updating object properties is straightforward, and building macros is made easy. All these functionalities work together to create powerful apps.
Cons
The Auto Documentation Report can be burdensome. It would be more user-friendly to have a field mapping report or chart illustrating the relationship of fields to apps, templates, and workflows.

“Great QMS system and easy to use
Pros
The software's customizability is a tremendous asset. Being able to modify the system to fit our company's needs, rather than forcing us to conform to the software, has made our transition to using Intellect a pleasant experience.
Cons
Onboarding takes some time due to the addition of customizations. If we had used the out-of-the-box features, onboarding would have been quicker. However, the extra setup time was worth it to have a fully customized system in the end.

Pros
We have been using Intellect for approximately 8 months, and the transition from our previous program has been remarkable. The convenience of having everything linked and accessible with a click of a button has made a huge difference.

The out-of-the-box calibration app could benefit from improvements for reporting purposes.

“Better than most of the other options out there!
Pros
The software's flexibility is truly impressive. By combining the native quality modules with our own customizations, we have created a comprehensive set of modules for our sales team. This integration provides them with both CRM functionality and a consolidated view of their customers, ensuring all the information they need is easily accessible.
Cons
It would be great if there were more advanced options for designing reports, allowing for the creation of professional-looking printouts and PDFs.

“Shifting a praadigm
Pros
With some basic customization, we have found it incredibly easy to build exactly what we need. Even without extensive experience, the intuitive guidance provided, in line with ISO 9001 requirements, has been invaluable. Our assigned representative has been dedicated and supportive throughout the process, offering us the assistance we needed.
Cons
Unfortunately, our main support for the software is no longer available, and now it's up to me to continue. I haven't started yet, but we have invested in this software and I hope to seamlessly pick up where the previous person left off. The challenge is that it is more difficult than I anticipated to resume from where they stopped.

“Intellect Implementation and Capabilities
Pros
This software seamlessly integrates with other existing programs, offering endless compatibility. While we are still in the process of establishing our live site, we have found that Intellect has provided multiple solutions for every function, feature, or scenario we encountered. The software's versatility has been a great asset.
Cons
Publishing sites to the "test" and "live" sites in Intellect requires a significant amount of bandwidth, which can be challenging during normal business hours, especially on slower networks.

“KnowBio, LLC
Pros
The ability to configure the software without professional services is a significant advantage. Furthermore, the option to build additional applications expands the value of the software beyond just the Quality department.
Cons
The out-of-the-box (OOB) workflows and configurations provided by Intellect don't align with typical Quality Management System (QMS) workflows in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, requiring extensive user configuration. The documentation package is non-compliant and lacks execution and effort. The User Requirement Specification (URS), Functional Requirement Specification (FRS), and guides are inaccurate and incomplete. Understanding the OOB configurations is crucial for efficient user configurations, but the documentation package fails to provide that understanding. While my technical support person has been excellent, the number of hours required to configure the OOB far exceeds what was initially allocated. This includes not only "wish list" configuration or company-specific configuration but also configuration that aligns with industry expectations for workflow and compliance.

“User Friendly Software
Pros
The user-friendliness of this software is outstanding. It is easy to teach others how to use the programs, and no advanced IT skills are required.
Cons
It would be beneficial if the software offered a limited amount of free customer support after the initial setup. For example, having 2 to 4 hours of free support every month would be helpful.

“Powerful tool for EQMS but requires alot of effort and lacks helpdesk support
Pros
The software offers an array of great features and options, allowing designers to set up and modify templates in various ways to meet project quality requirements. The out-of-the-box templates and apps serve as a solid foundation, enabling us to further develop apps that perfectly align with our project requirements and goals.
Cons
Customer service lacks follow-up on reported issues, necessitating backup on every help desk ticket. Making changes to a single template item as a designer can take around 30 seconds to a minute to process, which becomes cumbersome when multiple changes are needed. When an error occurs, it would be more convenient to have a simple "one-click" option that imports all relevant error information to an email or help desk form, rather than following a cumbersome process.

“Easy to Learn and Adapt
Pros
This software is fast, flexible, and enables rapid prototyping on the go. Having used it across diverse industries for multiple clients, it has proven to be a valuable tool for any organization still relying on Excel and email.
Cons
During configuration, there have been instances where I can save and have everything function correctly, only to encounter an error during publishing. This results in a delay in the publishing process and can impact client perceptions of build time.

“Review of Entire Process Training through Build through Use
Pros
The Document and Data Control app, as well as the Audit app, have been particularly impressive. Additionally, the apparent complexity of the program, when needed, is easily manageable. Once the initial program build was completed by our team, we found the software to be very user-friendly.
Cons
In my opinion, the integration process of the software with our organization didn't go as smoothly as expected.
