Game changing software

Pros

The calendar display for the administrator and front office manager is well-designed, easy to use, and the color coding has virtually eliminated deposit and rental payment collection errors.

Cons

I wish we could scroll back in time on the reservation calendar more than twelve months. Guests often want to see when they rented different units in previous years.

So glad we found Lodgix

Pros

I love how easy it is to set up a new booking and organize payment when a booking comes directly to us. I also love the automatic emails we have set up for guests before and after their stay. The customer service from Lodgix has always been prompt and helpful. We can run lots of reports, and my favorite is comparing this year's revenue with last year's.

Cons

I would like to format the emails a bit differently, but they are more than adequate, and I wouldn't want the very reasonable fees to increase.

Simplifies the reservation and back office processes

Pros

I like that it becomes a central place for all bookings and information. It simplifies marketing and reservations. I also like how rates and rules are shared by similar properties in the system, increasing my efficiency.

Cons

I would be happy to see integration and sync options open up to even more marketing venues.

Good property management software

Pros

Good integrations with other websites/software and excellent communication with developers if needed. There are lots of great features we didn't realize we would use when we first signed up, like quote generation, automatic trigger emails, and contract signing.

Cons

We had some issues with the initial integrations, but the Lodgix team was very responsive in resolving them.

Pros

Lodgix is a robust property management portal that allows for extensive customization to support your established workflows. It's easy to set up automations, third-party integrations, and retain control over how things function. You can explore some advanced features or stick with a more traditional approach. It makes for an easy launch while supporting continual growth.

Cons

You have to double-check your integrations and automations to ensure your settings are correct; otherwise, you might miss things. But you should be doing that anyway.

Lodgix has dramatically improved the way we interact with our guests.

Pros

The Lodgix software is so simple to use. We use it in all aspects of our resort, from online reservations to guest documents, housekeeping, and accounting. Every time I stop by the front office, one of our reservationists tells me how much they love Lodgix and how much it has simplified their job. All the information we need about our guest experience is located in one program. Plus, the online help manual is great, and the support team is always quick to respond to any questions or set up a tutorial to teach us how to better use the software.

Cons

In our previous system, we charged guests a separate daily resort fee. Lodgix doesn't currently have the capability to add a daily resort fee, so we had to find a workaround.

NO QUESTION *BEST* solution for small business

Pros

It's a complete package that is scalable. Their extra modules for employees and property management are welcome add-ons if needed, without burdening you with the cost when not in use. Every tier and aspect of their pricing is reasonable and delivers value. Their support is excellent. I dislike when guests don't read important details, and I always try to reference Lodgix material before creating a ticket. When I miss obvious things or misunderstand their material, they're still very responsive and make every effort to solve my problem. There's a difference between solving a problem and just saying "sorry for the inconvenience". Their help library/manual is well-conceived and thorough. They continue to roll out improvements. When I started, I was a bit disappointed in the calendar's fundamental function, but it was not difficult to work around. They promised an improvement, and THEY KEPT THEIR PROMISE. Most companies tell you what you want to hear and never address it. Lodgix provides a platform that delivers nearly what an enterprise solution offers without the high cost. This is the best solution for everything a short-term rental operator needs.

Cons

I didn't like the calendar initially, but it is an excellent tool, and they've made improvements, so I can make adjustments as needed. This negative aspect is now a non-issue because they listened to their customers. It's more complex than a basic phone app, but this isn't really a negative. If you try to run this business off a phone app, you're either aiming too low or planning to fail. If you're not committed to becoming proficient with the platform you choose, why bother? The "simpler" solutions don't have half the functionality you need. No platform is perfect. There are always small things that puzzle me, but there's always a solution. When I say small things, I don't mean inoperable features or downtime. This platform has never failed to function and stay up 16 waking hours a day every day.

They've Thought of Everything

Pros

The best feature of this software is the vast range of functions packed into a straightforward program. It's evident they thoroughly researched to create a truly adaptable product. As a small property with a unique setup, a B&B with three guest rooms and four camping cabins, we struggled to find a PMS that could handle these specifications well. Then we discovered Lodgix. We've never regretted that choice. I reached out to a representative a few times during the setup, and he was both helpful and straightforward. I appreciated his honesty when discussing features that would and wouldn't be possible in future updates and helping me find solutions for my property's unconventional setup.

Cons

The interface isn't designed with mobile responsiveness in mind, making it a bit tricky to check on the go. However, I heard this will be fixed in a future update. We also found their channel manager partner hard to work with and opted for manual syncing since we're a smaller property. The auto-import feature helps with peace of mind, showing they've considered almost everything. The web templates could use some modernizing, but with a knowledgeable web designer, tweaks can be made. I've heard a major release is coming, so I'm not worried.

Fantastic Company, Software and Customer Service!!!!

This software offers all the tools I need to run my business! It includes everything from management, reservations, owner statements, tax reports, and more, making it a comprehensive solution that covers all bases! It's not complicated, and the online manual is fantastic!

Think about switching

Pros

Simple to use, accessible remotely, excellent sales channel access, extensive reporting options, and great credit card payment options with Stripe integration.

Cons

Lodgix is a great out-of-the-box solution. While I have suggestions that could benefit our business, Lodgix has their own priorities for improvements but is responsive to my needs.

Ease of use for Lodgix is exceptional

Pros

We are homeowners who decided to turn our home into a vacation rental and needed software to support that. Over the past three years, we've found Lodgix to be completely supportive of that decision. Whenever I encounter something I can't figure out, their customer service is always ready to help. I believe you will enjoy your purchase as much as we have.

Cons

Like everything, this software sometimes uses different terminology than I would, making it hard to look things up in the manual. However, the customer service is excellent, and I've always gotten my questions answered.

Time Saver!

Pros

Stops double bookings. And so much more

Pros

The software you need for your rentals

Pros

Lodgix is feature-rich, and the developers constantly add more and enhance the user experience. The pricing is tiered, so you only pay for what you use. It offers integrations with all the popular third-party sites.

Cons

They don't support a payment processor that works in my country, although I don't think any online payment processors work here.

Outstanding Software for Property Managers!

Pros

Lodgix is continually improving and expanding, which I appreciate. The like is fair, the software is extremely useful, and it's easier than most to learn and adapt to. Customer support is very helpful, and we love that we can set up a conference call to get in-depth answers to our questions a few days later. We plan to keep using Lodgix and look forward to the new features. We highly recommend Lodgix to everyone!

used lodgix awhile ago, hopefully they've changed for the better since then.

Pros

The interface was quite intuitive and saved me time responding to inquiries. It connected to many listing channels, although some were better integrated than others.

Cons

The customer service team wasn't very helpful and took a long time to onboard. They were supposed to transfer all the data for me, but I ended up doing a lot of it manually.
