Outstanding rental tools

Pros

This has been an excellent fit for our rental needs! The biggest highlight is the customer support as their team has been the most helpful, well informed and responsive people I've ever worked with at any company!

Cons

Honestly there's nothing I dislike about the software because the program is simple to use and our customers really like how the product looks.

reliable support and full features

Pros

Customer support has been excellent and the system is very simple to use. It includes all the features I need to run my business and keep track of my inventory effectively.

Cons

It would be even more helpful if RMSync and RMCC could run automatically in the background instead of requiring me to keep them running on my side.

rental workflow done right

Pros

It has really simplified our rental workflow from beginning to end. Managing inventory, keeping up with reservations and staying in touch with customers all feels very easy. The reporting features have also been extremely useful for helping us stay organized and keep operations moving while we're on the go.

Cons

A limitation we've run into is the lack of compatibility with Apple devices. We'd really like to see better support for Mac and iOS users added down the road.

Quick to learn

Pros

Getting up to speed with it doesn't take long at all and the customer service team has been really helpful whenever needed.

Cons

The one thing I wish it had is a recurring billing option so you could choose that setting instead of handling it manually.

accessible and feature packed

Pros

Starting off with this product felt very natural. It offers so many features that I still haven't explored all of them yet. There's a lot of built in flexibility when it comes to pulling the information you need and the program is simple to roll out and train our sales team on.

Cons

Something I'd still like is clearer communication around updates especially more detail on what changed and how to use those new features effectively.

Pros

I really appreciate how the developer has remained actively involved in managing and improving the software over the years. It's also the only program I know of that doesn't charge extra for updates or support which is a huge plus :)

Cons

There are a few features I still don't fully understand but they're not things I actually need to use.

Great reliability!

Pros

It has been the best program I've used and the support is truly incredible, you just don't find that level of help anywhere else!

Cons

Automatic updates instead of having to do them manually would make the system even better (although the system works perfectly well as it is)

Letting customers lock in their reservations online has saved us a lot of time and reduced the amount of staff effort needed.

simple setup, huge impact

Pros

Right from the start the software was easy and genuinely simple to use. It didn't require long training sessions or hours of onboarding which made adoption much faster for our team. Even with that simplicity the functions are extensive. It has helped us organize an inventory of more than 100,000 items and restore its accuracy in under 12 months.

Cons

There have been a few minor glitches here and there. But we've been working closely with the their team on customization so some of that is to be expected.

Flexible rentals

Pros

Four years in this software has proven to be a core part of how we run our business. Their customer service is truly above and beyond. Even though our pricing has stayed the same since the original purchase Garik (their rep) still responds quickly to every question or concern and never acts bothered by it. It's really refreshing to work with someone who genuinely seems committed to taking care of customers. Once we got established the system became part of our daily routine. Repeating past orders is easy, adding new customers is quick and adjusting rental rates or customizing different parts of the software is very manageable. This has become an essential tool for us!

Cons

Starting with this software came with some difficulty. Moving over from Excel spreadsheets was not something we mastered right away and there were plenty of early challenges to work through. That said their team really went out of their way to help us adapt the software to fit our business. If there's one downside it's that this is not the kind of system you switch to and instantly know how to use at full capacity. It takes time, patience and a fair amount of effort upfront to understand how to make it work the best for your operation. Once you put in that work though it does end up working very well.

good support!

Pros

Getting started with this software took very little effort and learning how to use it was just as simple. The customer service has been outstanding and I honestly can't praise them enough! I've even recommended it to a friend who recently launched their own table and solutions rental business.

Cons

I genuinely don't have any complaints about this software. I'd rate it 10 out of 10 across the board. Anytime there was something we needed that wasn't immediately available I contacted customer service and they came back with a solution very quickly.

24/7 orders and time saved

Pros

Switching to this software has been one of the best decisions for us. It cuts out hours of back and forth email replies and orders come through around the clock without us having to chase them.

Cons

One drawback is that the online setup is split into two parts: a desktop side and a web based side. The web version isn't very user friendly for everyday tasks while the desktop version works much better. The downside is that you have to be in the office to use the desktop system.

Pros

Compared with the other rental software I've tested this one has been by far the simplest to work with. The developer support has also been excellent which makes the overall experience even better.

Cons

It could still use more automation along with some improvements to customization options.

staff picked it up fast

Pros

One of the biggest wins with it was how quickly my staff got comfortable using it. After only a couple of days they already had a good handle on the system so this really got usability right in that area.

Cons

A quick reference guide for administrators would have been helpful when getting started. I had to figure out a few things through trial and error although in the bigger picture it wasn't much of a problem.

Consistent property tracking

Pros

Keeping tabs on where each property stands at any moment is really convenient and useful.

Cons

There have been a few occasions where items showed up as rented even though they were not and this has happened 3 times over the past 2 years :/ Usually it gets cleared up within about 15 minutes after contacting support by phone or email.

Reliable software

Pros

It has been backed by great customer service and the turnaround time is usually very fast whenever we need help. I also appreciate the one time purchase cost instead of ongoing fees. Since the data is stored on our own machine we can still access everything without relying on the internet and it gives us more peace of mind about protecting our customers information rather than depending on a third party.

Cons

Getting around the software is not always very flexible. There have been several occasions where we came up with our own workarounds for something we needed only to later realize that the feature was already built into the system.
