I appreciate how the software automatically calculates and adds late fees.
Cons
I'm not a fan of the "tiles" for each month's rent. I prefer having a line-by-line breakdown of transactions. It would be better if it was more convenient to call for support.

The platform is incredibly user friendly. One of my favorite features is the ability to set up different bank accounts for each property. Everything is automated, and that's hard to beat!

Pros
I find the automation of invoice creation and the tenant portal for easy payments to be extremely beneficial.
Cons
It's not easy to review payments or create reports that match rent payments with accounting software. I feel like I have to navigate through the settings to see when payments are made.

I chose RentRedi over Furniture Finders, hoping it would make tenant management and payment tracking easier. However, I' have encountered issues. The lease agreement format wasn't to my liking, and it didn't seem accurate for my state. I prefer using a single system for all tenants or having my property management use one system, but we've experienced too many problems with the software.
Cons
My tenant had difficulty using the app, mentioning that it was unreliable and unresponsive at times. Tracking applications, tenants, etc., was not successful, and the tenant couldn't send the application(s) back through the system. The application and verification process was not updated promptly to show current statuses. The payment option was not trustworthy for the tenant.

“A Great Tool to have in your tool chest
Pros
When we were just starting our rental business, we needed a solution to help us manage our different properties and renters. We wanted something with online access that would be user-friendly for our tenants and robust enough to support us. RentRedi was the perfect fit. It allows us to execute leases, acts as a document repository, serves as our payment and notification hub for renters, and we use it for listing, applications, and background checks.
Cons
The software lacks clear and straightforward instructions in several sections. When attempting to list properties, it doesn't allow for permanently attaching photos to each individual property. So, if you have multiple properties you have to delete photos and keep them off the software. Additionally, there are times when customer service assistance is unavailable. You have to leave a message and wait for a callback,but usually by the time they call back, I have moved on to the next project and am away from the computer.

Pros
I've been using the app for 12 months, and I love that everything is in one place. It covers almost every scenario we've come across, which is fantastic!
Cons
Some of the payment details on the tenant side could be more transparent. One particular issue is that if a tenant has a separate payment account for rent, they need to have at least $1 extra to cover the payment fee. I went back and forth with a tenant for several days until they were able to figure this out.

“Best App for Managing my Properties
Pros
I appreciate that everything is done on the app. As a landlord, I dont want to deal with constant emails or texts. This platform serves as a one stop shop for all my properties and tenants to communicate concerns and updates. I can easily track payments and see pending charges.
Cons
I have Section 8 tenants, and their checks are automatically deposited into our bank account. I would appreciate an option where I can customize the tenants' portion of the rent and what the housing authority paid on RentRedi. This way, I can track how payments came in. Also, the mobile app seems to have a delay, and sometimes it doesn't load correctly.

Pros
The best part was how effortless the setup process was. It was as simple as following step by step instructions. If I ever had trouble the customer service was amazing. They would patiently assist me until I was satisfied. They even reached out a few days later to ensure everything was working well for me.

Learning this system was a breeze, and tracking my tenants' rents is seamless. The app allows tenants to conveniently send rent, which theyhavve all praised as efficient and convenient.
Cons
In my role managing property leases for landlords, this system doesn't offer the option to split a tenant's payment between myself and the landlord. This feature would save me a significant amount of time and effort. The tech department mentioned they were working on a solution, but I haven't received any updates yet.

Pros
The app is fantastic! It's accessible wherever I go. Both tenants and property management/landlords have their own dedicated app. As a landlord, I can email rental applications, cross-post ads to multiple real estate sites, pre-screen tenants, conduct credit and background checks, and even receive ACH rent payments from tenants.
Cons
Finding the section where tenants receive ACH payments involves too many steps. The $1 ACH processing fee for rent discourages both tenants and landlords/owners.

I love that the software was already set up saving me the effort of creating a system myself or relying on Excel sheets.
Cons
Compared to other management apps I've used in the past, I'm not a big fan of this system. It's overwhelming to remember all the details, making it difficult to navigate and move forward quickly. Some of the navigation doesn't make sense, leading to confusion. If something is functioning well, there's no need to change its functionality. Frequent changes can be frustrating, especially when you just figured things out. I dislike not being able to speak to someone on the phone. Walking through a process with a representative makes it easier to learn and retain information. Using the chat feature to type is slow and it doesn't allow you to move it to a different part of the screen while working on other tasks. You have to constantly click in and out or copy and paste the chat to a separate document, adding more frustration. It's a lot of work. Additionally, losing the chat person or trying to locate them while receiving messages can be disruptive when you're trying to add or apply something. At the moment, I'm not a big fan, even though I paid for a year of service.

“An application that just works at a value!
Pros
This software offers all the dashboards I need as a landlord, from rent management to maintenance requests, tenant documents, and more. The tenant site is also incredibly user-friendly, which is crucial for any landlord. My tenants have provided positive feedback on its ease of use, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. I also appreciate the option to text my tenants since its becoming a preferred communication method. Overall RentRedi has done an excellent job creating a tool that is easy to use, affordable and intuitive for both landlords and tenants. I highly recommend it.
Cons
The only drawback is the slow deposit processing time when tenants make payments. It takes about 3 4 business days and it would be great if it could be expedited to 1 2 business days. Other software programs in the competitive market advertise one business day transfers. Apart from that, the software is fantastic!

“The best way to collect payments online. Improves pre-lease tenant communication.
Pros
I appreciate the option to collect payments for only $1, and my tenants can choose to pay with a debit card if they prefer. The real human support provided is superior to any other software package.
Cons
It takes around a week or so to receive payments.

The customer service is exceptional. We had several questions during our first few weeks using the application, and the online chat feature was great. We always received prompt assistance within a few minutes, and they had all the answers we needed. They even followed up afterward to ensure we didn't have any further questions.
Cons
The tenant application process is a bit excessive for short-term rentals. We don't need all the information included in the tenant application process for short-term stays. It would be helpful to have the option to disable fields for unnecessary information. Since we cannot do that, it can be confusing for tenants when they fill out their information, even though we clearly communicate the required and unnecessary details.
