Iam impressed by how effortlessly I can navigate and utilize this software for the first time. Even without technical expertise, I can easily explore all of its functions. Additionally, the well-organized dashboard provides a clear view and allows me to work more efficiently. It perfectly meets all my property management requirements, saving me valuable time and enhancing my work performance.

Cons

Sometimes, I need to refresh the software for better performance, and the technical support should respond more promptly. It would be great if it could provide auto suggestions based on input history.

I wasn't impressed with the software. My hope was that it would simplify my life and my tenants lives, but after using it for two weeks I decided to cancel my subscription and stop using the product.

Cons

Setting everything up felt quite cumbersome. It became easier with more time spent using the software. The payment processing, customer service, and lack of attention from the entire company were extremely disappointing.

Remember, you get what you pay for. This app is very basic. Additionally the customer service and technical support are some of the worst I have ever encountered. I have been experiencing a serious glitch in my app and have been unable to get a detailed deposit report for over two weeks. The availability of a detailed batch report influenced my decision to purchase this app.

Since this is my first rental property and venture into property management, I was looking for an all in one platform. As I have limited experience and time due to taking care of my mother, I needed property management software that allowed me to learn at my own pace. Initially, I didn't think a live demo was necessary because the software is very intuitive, but I'm glad I scheduled one. RentRedi accommodated my preferred time and, most importantly, didn't try to upsell me. They tailored the demo to meet my specific needs. It's reassuring to speak with knowledgeable staff who not only understand the product but also provide additional insights. I've utilized all the RentRedi property management tools that apply to me so far and I couldn't be happier. My favorite features are the ones that enable me to interact with potential renters as much or as little as I need. From applications and listings to monthly rent payments and maintenance scheduling, this property management software has it all covered. Whenever I've reached out for support via online chat, the staff has been friendly and competent. They are truly invaluable, even though RentRedi offers a wealth of easily accessible articles and videos. I'm looking forward to the day when I can add my second property. Thank you, RentRedi!

I was disappointed when my pictures were uploaded to Zillow, Trulia, etc out of order. I understand that what happens on their sites is beyond your control at the moment. I hope that since you have a contractual relationship with these other sites, there may be a solution in the future to correct this. We all know the first picture is important!

I love the convenience of collecting rent online and the excellent customer service provided by the team. Both my tenants and I have had no issues using the platform. My only complaint is with the Latchel Maintenance program, which has been quite frustrating. I've submitted two requests that went unfulfilled, and I had to handle those issues by myself.

While I am still deciding how much of the software I want to use, I was definitely disappointed with the Latchel Maintenance Program.

I chose RentRedi over Furniture Finders, hoping it would make tenant management and payment tracking easier. However, I' have encountered issues. The lease agreement format wasn't to my liking, and it didn't seem accurate for my state. I prefer using a single system for all tenants or having my property management use one system, but we've experienced too many problems with the software.

Cons

My tenant had difficulty using the app, mentioning that it was unreliable and unresponsive at times. Tracking applications, tenants, etc., was not successful, and the tenant couldn't send the application(s) back through the system. The application and verification process was not updated promptly to show current statuses. The payment option was not trustworthy for the tenant.

A Great Tool to have in your tool chest
Pros

When we were just starting our rental business, we needed a solution to help us manage our different properties and renters. We wanted something with online access that would be user-friendly for our tenants and robust enough to support us. RentRedi was the perfect fit. It allows us to execute leases, acts as a document repository, serves as our payment and notification hub for renters, and we use it for listing, applications, and background checks.

Cons

The software lacks clear and straightforward instructions in several sections. When attempting to list properties, it doesn't allow for permanently attaching photos to each individual property. So, if you have multiple properties you have to delete photos and keep them off the software. Additionally, there are times when customer service assistance is unavailable. You have to leave a message and wait for a callback,but usually by the time they call back, I have moved on to the next project and am away from the computer.

I've been using the app for 12 months, and I love that everything is in one place. It covers almost every scenario we've come across, which is fantastic!

Cons

Some of the payment details on the tenant side could be more transparent. One particular issue is that if a tenant has a separate payment account for rent, they need to have at least $1 extra to cover the payment fee. I went back and forth with a tenant for several days until they were able to figure this out.

I appreciate that everything is done on the app. As a landlord, I dont want to deal with constant emails or texts. This platform serves as a one stop shop for all my properties and tenants to communicate concerns and updates. I can easily track payments and see pending charges.

Cons

I have Section 8 tenants, and their checks are automatically deposited into our bank account. I would appreciate an option where I can customize the tenants' portion of the rent and what the housing authority paid on RentRedi. This way, I can track how payments came in. Also, the mobile app seems to have a delay, and sometimes it doesn't load correctly.

The app is fantastic! It's accessible wherever I go. Both tenants and property management/landlords have their own dedicated app. As a landlord, I can email rental applications, cross-post ads to multiple real estate sites, pre-screen tenants, conduct credit and background checks, and even receive ACH rent payments from tenants.

Cons

Finding the section where tenants receive ACH payments involves too many steps. The $1 ACH processing fee for rent discourages both tenants and landlords/owners.

I love that the software was already set up saving me the effort of creating a system myself or relying on Excel sheets.

Cons

Compared to other management apps I've used in the past, I'm not a big fan of this system. It's overwhelming to remember all the details, making it difficult to navigate and move forward quickly. Some of the navigation doesn't make sense, leading to confusion. If something is functioning well, there's no need to change its functionality. Frequent changes can be frustrating, especially when you just figured things out. I dislike not being able to speak to someone on the phone. Walking through a process with a representative makes it easier to learn and retain information. Using the chat feature to type is slow and it doesn't allow you to move it to a different part of the screen while working on other tasks. You have to constantly click in and out or copy and paste the chat to a separate document, adding more frustration. It's a lot of work. Additionally, losing the chat person or trying to locate them while receiving messages can be disruptive when you're trying to add or apply something. At the moment, I'm not a big fan, even though I paid for a year of service.

An application that just works at a value!

This software offers all the dashboards I need as a landlord, from rent management to maintenance requests, tenant documents, and more. The tenant site is also incredibly user-friendly, which is crucial for any landlord. My tenants have provided positive feedback on its ease of use, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. I also appreciate the option to text my tenants since its becoming a preferred communication method. Overall RentRedi has done an excellent job creating a tool that is easy to use, affordable and intuitive for both landlords and tenants. I highly recommend it.

Cons

The only drawback is the slow deposit processing time when tenants make payments. It takes about 3 4 business days and it would be great if it could be expedited to 1 2 business days. Other software programs in the competitive market advertise one business day transfers. Apart from that, the software is fantastic!

The customer service is exceptional. We had several questions during our first few weeks using the application, and the online chat feature was great. We always received prompt assistance within a few minutes, and they had all the answers we needed. They even followed up afterward to ensure we didn't have any further questions.

Cons

The tenant application process is a bit excessive for short-term rentals. We don't need all the information included in the tenant application process for short-term stays. It would be helpful to have the option to disable fields for unnecessary information. Since we cannot do that, it can be confusing for tenants when they fill out their information, even though we clearly communicate the required and unnecessary details.

It's incredibly easy to set up, and the customer support is great. The notification template is helpful for sending quick messages to all tenants in a building!

Cons

Initially we had a minor issue setting up ACH bank transfers for security deposits but RentRedi was incredibly responsive every time I reached out. Since then we haven't encountered any issues,and I plan on using them to grow our rental business.

I love that this software can handle everything from tenant screening to charging late fees once they're in.

Cons

I wish the main screen had a simpler layout. The most important information I need to see daily is who has paid who has not and any maintenance requests. Currently, I have to go into each unit's page to check if the tenant has paid which becomes tedious. Additionally I wish the deposits were processed faster. It takes over a week. I did inquire and they mentioned it should improve with longer use of the software.

Pros

One of my favorite features is having all charges listed for each tenant throughout their lease. It allows me to notify all tenants at once. The simple easy application process for prospective tenants is excellent. We've filled two units in less than a month thanks to the convenience of multiple advertising outlets in one place and the prequalification screening, which eliminates unnecessary showings. Our maintenance manager receives notifications for tenant requests and can complete the job entirely through the app.

Cons

My least favorite aspect of this software is that tenants can only use the app on a mobile phone. It poses challenges with my older tenants who are not adept with mobile devices. There have also been issues with tenants downloading the landlord app instead of the tenant app leading to confusion.
