Several users appreciate the platform for its automatic tenant receipt delivery capabilities, though some report frustration over its repetitive account verification process. Recent updates include a rental portfolio performance dashboard to track real-time rental property equity and health.

Our Verdict

RentRedi combines rent collection, tenant screening, and maintenance tracking into one dashboard. It is best suited for independent landlords and residential property managers who handle daily rental administration. What Is RentRedi?

RentRedi is a property management software that helps landlords automate rentals via a web portal or a mobile app. The platform automates the rental collection process by providing several features to landlords, including, tenant screening, managing maintenance requests, collecting online payments through ACH, card, or cash, and listings and leasing. It also lets property owners track rental income and expenses for tax reporting while giving them a centralized inbox for tenant messages for communication purposes.

What Is RentRedi Best For?

The platform is well known for its split payment capability that allows multiple tenants to contribute toward the same rent charge without creating separate charges. The platform records every payment against the shared balance to give landlords a clear view of what remains due. It keeps partial payments organized within the original rent charge and reduces manual calculations when the full amount is not paid at once.

How Much Does RentRedi Cost?

The platform’s starting price is $12/month, billed annually with 30-days refund policy. This package, known as Annual Plan, includes various features, such as rent collection and payments, marketing and listings, applications and screenings, and leasing and e-signatures. Additional RentRedi pricing tiers are as follows:

  • 6-Month Plan – $20/month, Billed Semi-Annually
  • Monthly Plan – $29.95/month

Besides the fixed subscription charges, users should also account for additional, hidden costs to consider the total amount of ownership. It includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Credit Boost/Rent Reporting: $5.99/month, paid by tenant or landlord
  • Income And Employment Verification: $39.99 if paid by tenant and $49.99 with Plaid income verification
  • Tenant Screening (Credit, Criminal, Eviction): Tenant-paid $39.99 or $49.99 with Plaid income verification
  • Custom API Integrations: Generally estimated at $500–$5,000, depending on complexity
  • Staff Training And Onboarding: Commonly ranges between $200–$2,000, based on team size
  • Payment Processing Fees: Often around 2.9% + $0.30/transaction, subject to the payment provider
  • Additional Document Storage: May cost $5–$50/month, depending on storage usage

Users describe the platform’s pricing as affordable, specifically for independent landlords and small to mid-sized property portfolios, though some reviewers note that the annual subscription costs and optional add-on or per-application fees might increase the overall cost depending on usage.

RentRedi Use Cases

Based on our assessment of RentRedi’s platform capabilities, we have identified several scenarios where the software is well suited for landlords and property managers:

  1. Independent Landlords Managing Rentals And Separate Careers

Several landlords handle rental responsibilities and full-time jobs simultaneously, making it difficult for them to cater to the tenant requests in such scenarios. RentRedi software allows property owners to track rental activity without the need for constant oversight. It is valuable for landlords who manage a small portfolio but have limited time during the workday.

  1. Property Owners Growing Rental Businesses

Managing additional rental units leads to more responsibilities, including leasing, tenant screening, and financial recordkeeping. Using spreadsheets to manage these activities becomes difficult as the number of portfolios increases. The platform lets landlords maintain consistent processes throughout various residential properties while minimizing dependance on disconnected systems.

  1. Self-Managing Landlords Replacing Manual Leasing Processes

There are various property owners who manage leasing themselves rather than hiring any third-party companies. Therefore, such people have to review applications, evaluate potential tenants, and prepare leasing documentation manually themselves, which can result in extended vacancy periods. The system supports landlords looking to standardize these activities that makes it easier to move qualified applicants from inquiry to signed lease timely.

  1. Residential Property Managers Coordinating Tenant And Vendor Communication

Every maintenance request includes several conversations between the tenant, property manager, and service provider, making it difficult to refer to previous discussions through emails and text messages. It results in difficulty to track updates timely. RentRedi benefits residential property managers who need a single communication record by helping them monitor ongoing requests and reference older conversations when questions arise.

  1. Landlords Seeking Better Visibility into Rental Finances

Rental income and property expenses must be tracked consistently to support budgeting and tax preparation. Many landlords begin with manual records before finding them challenging to maintain as transactions increase. The software helps consolidate financial data to make it easy to review income trends and maintain records yearly.

Is RentRedi Right For You?

If you are an independent landlord or a residential property manager who wants to oversee rental activities, then RentRedi might be the right platform. The software has won the 2025 Be Property Wise award. Additionally, it is PCI DSS Level 1 Compliant and provides TLS encryption, offering secure payment processing.

Quick setup and reliable support

Pros

I was able to set everything up on my own without any assistance. When I did have a question about renewing the settings for the following year, customer support was very helpful and walked me through the process step by step. The app consistently felt secure and we didn't run into any bugs or technical problems. It was also very user-friendly for renters.

Cons

At first, the processing time seemed a little slow to me but when I compared it to other platforms that can take as long as a week, waiting a couple of days felt manageable.

offers excellent value

Pros

From the start, it has delivered a lot for the price. It's very user-friendly, simple for me to use and just as simple for tenants as well. Compared with the product I was using before, this one is saving me both time and money while giving me access to even more tools.

Cons

Honestly I haven't run into any real downsides. The learning curve is very short, it's been extremely user-friendly and up to this point, it has handled everything I've needed it to do.

beginner-friendly program

Pros

Getting started in property management felt much more manageable because the features were simple to use. I was able to update file information from my existing 2025 accounts and use that information effectively as I plan for future growth.

Cons

One issue I ran into is that removing tenant contacts when they change takes a few extra steps. Because of that, an online payment was missed and had to be sent by check instead.
