reliable restaurant control

Pros

Running our restaurant on this tool has been a really positive experience. The system is user-friendly and simple to work with and our staff picked it up quickly. Stock control is spot on and the waiters also find it simple to use in daily service. On top of that, the support team has been excellent always friendly, helpful and willing to assist when needed.

Cons

Only drawback we've come across is with the first recipe level inside a recipe-within-a-recipe setup. It creates units only, instead of allowing volume or weight as well which means we can't properly create bulk items.

reliable system

Pros

The support from the entire staff has been excellent and the system itself has been very reliable.

Cons

Only downside is that I haven't had enough time to learn all the different features and functions it offers.

helpful support

Pros

Starting off with the product has been very comfortable because it feels very user friendly. Since I'm still fairly new to it I'm discovering more of what it can do every day. I tend to be quite curious and I'm always exploring different ways to achieve the results we need. On top of that the support from the Help Desk has generally been very good.

Cons

Up to this point I really haven't had any negative experiences. I also can't point to anything I dislike yet mainly because I'm still getting to know the product in more detail.

Round the clock support !

Pros

Having access to a 24 hour support center really feels like the cherry on top.

Cons

I honestly can't point to any faults with it. In nearly three months at the guest house I haven't had a single complaint.

Pros

The layout is simple to figure out and there's a wide variety of reports available which makes daily use really convenient.

Cons

Dependable reservations and useful reports

Pros

It has been working really well for us as a reservation system and the reporting tools available are something I really appreciate.

Cons

My only concern is the cloud based option since I've heard from other clients that information from Nightsbridge doesn't always pull through correctly.

Fast analysis

Pros

Pulling any report I need is easy and the data is simple to analyze.

Cons

I'm able to get my reports ready and present them on time and auditing the front office, bar and restaurant is very manageable.

annual reports are unusable

Pros

The only remotely positive thing about it is that I'm able to log in from outside the office. Even then (to be fair) our previous system most likely offered the same remote access and probably handled it in a more organized way but I'd never needed to use that feature until we moved over to this software.

Cons

The data is completely unreliable so everything has to be checked twice. That becomes a massive issue when you're trying to generate an annual report.

user friendly reservations

Pros

It is a user friendly, Excel based system that feels very self explanatory. The support team is friendly and incredibly patient which makes a big difference. The system itself can also be customized to fit a company's needs to a certain extent and fixing mistakes is very easy. Overall both the reservation system and the POS are very simple to work with.

Cons

The financial side of the system and its reports could use a bit more attention and improvement.

reliable POS with helpful support

Pros

It works quite well for smaller restaurants especially when it comes to POS and stock control. It's fairly simple to use and the support team has been outstanding whenever I've needed help. In the past any issues I've raised were handled quickly and resolved properly which has made the system much more dependable to work with.

Cons

A few things could still be improved. I'd really like to see more buttons available on the home screen because scrolling through long button lists takes extra time and can cause mistakes. It would also help if out of stock items showed as zero on the "Stock on Hand" report since that would make it much quicker to spot when something is unavailable. Another limitation is that dockets and invoices can't be customized. With formatted dockets the column widths are too wide which leaves very little room for product descriptions and that issue is actually the only support request of mine that still hasn't been fixed. I also miss having remote access through an app so I can log into the system and handle functions that on site staff can't perform. At the moment I still have to go into the restaurant myself to sort those problems out.

powerful hospitality control system

Pros

Running accommodation bookings along with Restaurant & Bar operations feels very manageable with this user friendly system. It also works well as a financial platform, giving solid control over the business and helping a lot in the hospitality industry.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind at the moment. It's a tool you can keep learning from because it offers so much especially for anyone working in the hospitality industry.

useful booking and accounting mix

Pros

It combines a functional accounting system with reservations and conferencing which makes it useful for handling several core operations in one place.

Cons

Access is limited when it comes to deleting items or invoices manually since support has to be contacted and the reporting options are fairly limited as well.

With one quick look we can immediately see the status of the booking sheet which makes it very convenient to track.

Pros

Honestly there wasn't really anything positive about it. It's not user friendly, the setup promises they made were never delivered and it ended up feeling like a complete waste of money.

Cons

The setup commitments they made were not honored and I felt pressured into accepting things because I was threatened that the service would be shut off otherwise.

Simple workflow

Pros

Using the platform feels very simple and the support team has been amazing whenever needed. The system is set up in a way that makes it really hard to make mistakes which is a huge plus.

Cons

Group bookings are probably the weakest part for us and we'd also like more flexibility to redesign the invoice template but aside from that everything else has been excellent.

Solid platform

Pros

In our industry it really comes down to the people behind the company because they're the ones who solve problems when they come up. Working with their team has been a very positive experience and their system is genuinely a pleasure to use.

All in one POS and reservation sync

Pros

The platform is very user friendly and having everything bundled into one package is a big plus. The POS and reservation syncing works really well and makes daily operations much more convenient.

Amazing fit for travel records

Pros

Compared with other options this product really stood out because it was easy to use. It handled both tour groups and individual travelers which other programs we looked at couldn't manage. The record system lets you pull back a large amount of data and the information is quick to locate when needed. It was also simple to configure the system around our specific requirements.

fast workflow

Pros

Getting everything done in this platform is quick and easy and it really helps keep all the information organized in one organized place. The support has also been consistently exceptional from their team. Without their help things would have been much more difficult.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see is built in WhatsApp integration. It would make direct communication with guests from inside the system much more convenient similar to how automated SMS and emails already work. I'm also planning to integrate Xero Accounting software but I found out today that there's a costly monthly fee for that which is disappointing.
