A fantastic team that helps every time

Pros

Whenever something comes up, the customer support team is excellent and handles it right away over the phone. They've been able to resolve any technical issue I've had without any trouble.

Cons

Honestly there isn't anything I can point to as a downside. I haven't run into any real issues and whenever I've needed help, the service has been sorted out immediately.

amazing support and payouts

Pros

Running things with this has been refreshingly simple. The customer service has been fantastic, payouts are easy and they even offered us credit which helped us massively when we really needed it.

Cons

There's honestly nothing we dislike about it. The only thing we'd love to see added is a simple loyalty card system for our customers.

locked hardware with terrible support

Pros

Software and interface are user-friendly so I can see why it attracts people but once you're in, you feel stuck and it just isn't worth it.

Cons

We've been using itNow's software and hardware for five years and now the hardware we bought from them is starting to break down. Even though we pay for support, they told us they no longer cover that hardware and instead sold us a replacement monitor. The problem is that this "replacement" device is locked so we can't get online with it. That means no access to emails and no way to place orders, both of which are essential for our daily business and something our previous hardware handled without an issue. We asked to return the hardware but customer service said they won't take it back. I've also asked several times for a phone call to sort this out and each time we've been ignored or brushed aside. Since they stopped payment integration, we were actually considering moving over to their own payment contract but after this level of service especially after being a customer for five years, we've completely lost respect for the company. It feels like they only care about new sign-ups, not the customers they've already got. Be careful.

misleading sign-up plus extra charges

Pros

The platform looks attractive and is simple to use and they do a very good job of drawing people in. The positive reviews also seem to be pushed during the sign-up process.

Cons

Customer support was poor and the company uses unethical tactics to add extra charges. Overall, it's a terrible company and I'd strongly recommend staying away.

versatile product having excellent support

Pros

Right from the start, this has been a high-quality product that works well in different ways and fits a variety of environments. It's simple to use and new employees are able to learn it quickly. It's also flexible enough to adapt when we add new products or need to meet changing customer demands. Overall, it has been a superior product.

Cons

Only issue I've run into has been the occasional interruption during fund transfers but those situations were resolved quickly and efficiently. At first, the time difference between the United States and England took some getting used to when contacting support but my account manager, Hayden Greenhall, has been excellent about staying in touch and taking care of any small problems that have come up.

reliable service all these years

Pros

Nine years in and it's been a really positive experience. The customer support has consistently been helpful, the payment processing has worked without issues and the product simply does what it's supposed to do.

Cons

I don't have any complaints at this point. I just hope the service keeps up this same level of quality and maybe adds even more going forward.

poor communication caused downtime

Pros

Up until the incident the system worked as it was supposed to and was suitable for our everyday IT operations and card payment processing. It also fit into our existing setup for quite some time without causing any major problems.

Cons

A major issue was the complete lack of communication around critical changes that affected payment processing. Functionality was removed without any advance notice or transition period which led to unexpected downtime for our business. On top of that, the support documentation was inaccurate and pointed users toward applications that were not even available, creating even more confusion during an already urgent situation. The way this was handled showed poor planning, weak communication with customers and not enough support for businesses impacted by the incident.

flexible staff access and support

Pros

It works well for all types of businesses. The customer service has been excellent. One thing that really helps is being able to add or remove employees without any hassle and each person having their own security PIN means I don't have to update the entire system every time staffing changes.

Cons

A big downside showed up when a storm knocked out our internet. The system would only keep running offline for about a day and after that we had to go back to doing everything by hand with paper and a calculator.

untrustworthy billing

Pros

After the experience I had, it's hard to say there was much to appreciate. If I had to mention one thing, having the till system and back office combined in a single solution did make sales management more convenient.

Cons

They seemed willing to say anything just to sell the product, then ignored requests to cancel the subscription and kept charging even after it had been cancelled. Overall, they come across as extremely unreliable and completely untrustworthy.

Well-organized payments

Pros

Payment setup is very well organized, with no hidden charges since everything is clear and upfront. It's simple, easy and free of complications so just about anyone can use it without trouble.

Cons

I haven't come across any issues because everything seems designed to make the system great and reliable. So far, I haven't noticed any loopholes at all.

broken reconciliation

Pros

Once it was actually running, it worked decently. That said loading stock was difficult and we were never able to complete the end-of-day reconciliation.

Cons

Support was almost nonexistent. Every time we contacted tech support, they blamed our internet even though our connection was perfectly fine. Since switching to a replacement system, we have not had any of those problems. The company also promised credits and refunds but none of that was ever honored.

Excellent service and support

Pros

From day one, the service has been fantastic. The system is set up really well and is simple to use. It's a brilliant company with an excellent team and they're always approachable.

Cons

Nothing to complain about. I've been with ITN since 2020 and they've been brilliant throughout. Based on my personal experience, I really can't fault them.

Secure plus easy to use tool

Pros

Security and customer support have been excellent. The system is very easy to use and when mistakes happen, the instructions are clear and helpful. It was also really simple to train other people on it.

Cons

One downside is that with daily use, the screen can wear out and start showing image burn-in after about four years. Replacing it also ends up costing more than the original unit.

simple sales tracking system

Pros

Keeping track of sales is very simple and the information is presented clearly. The reports are really useful and quick to pull up. Overall, the system is easy to use.

Cons

I have to shut down the system to "refresh" it whenever I add an item or update costs. It would be much better if those changes were saved right away.

Easy business management tool

Pros

After using it for more than a year, it has been very easy to work with and I'd definitely recommend it. It suits all kinds of businesses in the UK really well.

Cons

It's completely secure which is a big plus but the monthly fees feel quite high for small businesses. I think the pricing should be reviewed with smaller businesses in mind.

Helpful support

Pros

Customer service has been excellent, responses are quick and the team is always very patient. The software is easy to use and understand and it offers far more information than I'm currently taking advantage of.

Cons

The only part I still need to get more familiar with is the reporting side. The information I need is probably already there, I just need to spend some time learning it better.

Reliable value for money

Pros

Right from the start, we've had a very positive experience using it. The system feels secure and dependable and it delivers strong value for the money based on the features that come with it. Payment processing works well and the sales management tools make it simple to keep track of performance.

Cons

At times, the interface can seem a little cluttered when you're still getting used to it. That said these were only minor issues and didn't impact our overall satisfaction.

Fast and efficient POS

Pros

Adding or locating products is very easy, updating prices takes no time, the card reader responds quickly and retrying a transaction is also very fast.

Cons

Every now and then when receiving the same stock with an identical barcode, a few items disappear although it does not happen very often.

Reliable payment processing

Pros

Everything runs efficiently, the customer service is helpful and the advisors really know what they're doing. Payments are transferred over quickly and I'm very happy with the service overall.

Cons

It would be better to have the choice of whether to print a customer receipt or not. Some customers still want a printed receipt even though most of the time they don't need one.

Easy to use with great support

Pros

Right from the start the software has been simple to use and the overall experience has been really positive. The interface is excellent and the customer service has been one of the best parts. Customer support has also been very good whenever needed.

Cons

Every now and then, it has crashed while adding a new customer. Adding a payment tender can also be a little confusing at times.

quick and easy setup

Pros

Getting started with it is quick and simple and just about anyone can use it without much effort. I genuinely enjoy using it and often recommend it to my friends as well.

Cons

A few cards still aren't accepted so it would be better to have more payment options added. American Express, for example, is not supported. Other than that, everything works well.

Great support for beginners

Pros

Coming from very little POS experience, strong customer support mattered a lot to me and they were there whenever I needed guidance. Getting everything set up was easy and it has really improved how I track sales. I can also quickly see which products are selling the most which has been very useful.

Cons

I'm still figuring out the system and learning everything it can do. The only real drawback I can point to is that I use iMenu for all of my streaming and it doesn't work with this POS.

affordable business reporting tool

Pros

It's been a really good fit for what we need especially for the price. On the rare occasions I've had to call for assistance, the customer support has been excellent. The reporting tools are genuinely helpful for managing my business and the system also helps reduce billing mistakes.

Cons

The only real challenge was during the initial menu setup since it took me a bit of time to adjust to how the program is structured. That said it was probably more about me learning the workflow than an issue with the software itself.
