“amazing tool for us”
Pros
Working with it has made recipe creation and updates much more manageable for us. We can print by batch size and handle complicated production forecasting thanks to the structured way subrecipes and recipes are managed. We rely heavily on Plans and Purchasing, along with purchase orders and menu planning and those features get used all the time. After a bit of training and getting familiar with it the system is easy to use. They also keep improving the software based on user feedback which says a lot. Overall, it is a really strong product backed by a fantastic team.
Cons
One feature I still wish existed is a way to group subrecipes by station when printing so they could be sorted onto clipboards and handed off to the right team members more efficiently. With the way our production process is set up now, we still have to manually organize that each week and that leaves room for mistakes. That said, it is not a major problem as long as the team is trained well and communication stays clear. Another helpful improvement would be a total item count at the end when adding items into a production plan. For example, if the target is 1,000 meals, it would be useful if the plan showed something like "Items: 1,000" after all quantities are entered, just to confirm everything was counted correctly. Outside of those requests, I really do not have much negative to say.

“Excellent customer support”
Pros
Using it has been a fantastic experience. It helps me stay on top of all our recipes, keep an eye on food costs, put together weekly purchase orders and update nutrition labels whenever needed. The standout part is the customer support-they respond to any question I have very quickly, either with a phone call or an email follow-up.
Cons
I'd still like to see the ability to scale by batches instead of only by servings.

“fast recipe entry and scaling”
Pros
Entering recipes is really quick and being able to add or modify ingredients without leaving the recipe screen sets it apart from a lot of other programs. Estimating recipes is also very easy and it makes it simple to double-check your work by scaling recipes up or down. Another big advantage is how many common inventory items are already built into the system which makes getting started on menus and recipes much faster from day one. We manage more than 600 inventory items and with the import function it only took a few hours one afternoon to add everything that wasn't already there.
Cons
Since the platform is still fairly new there are a few areas that haven't been fully built out yet and are still under development. That said, I've been genuinely impressed by how many features have been added in just the three months I've been using it. I'd also love to see it connect with more external programs though I expect that will come with time.
