“protects your card details”
Pros
It is one of the best ways to buy from websites you do not fully trust since it helps protect your bank account and card details from being exposed.
Cons
An issue that comes up at times is the login process not working correctly when the purchase flow redirects you to the app during an online checkout.

“Paypal works almost everywhere”
Pros
Its great how widely accepted and well integrated it is. Nearly every e-commerce platform or freelance marketplace connects with it right away. On the business side, the invoicing feature is especially useful, it has a clean layout, handles tax calculations automatically and presents a polished, professional look for higher-end clients.
Cons
Where it gets frustrating is the fees and the way funds can be held. The cut taken from international payments, along with the currency conversion markup, can reduce profit margins quite a bit. On top of that, the habit of freezing accounts or holding money for up to 21 days when there's a sudden increase in activity can create a serious problem for small businesses.

“most customers already use it”
Pros
Since most customers already have a PayPal account, it makes checkout really convenient. It feels safe, secure and simple to use every time someone makes a purchase.
Cons
I don't have any complaints. The Pay in 4 option is a big plus because it gives clients access to 0% interest payments. It's also flexible since you can accept payment through a link, a swipe reader or simply with an email account.

“Convenient in the international market”
Pros
This tool has made things much more convenient for us in the international market. Everyone at our firm can use it without any trouble.
Cons
We really haven't run into any problems so far. Whenever something does come up, their customer support handles it quickly and on time.

“can be better”
Pros
Sending and receiving money across countries is pretty simple. It's accepted by a lot of platforms and connects with many online stores which makes paying and getting paid very convenient.
Cons
Accounts can get blocked without any warning, leaving you unable to access your own money. Also customer support isn't very helpful and the identity verification steps feel more complicated than they need to be.

“Does a fine job”
Pros
Using it has been a really dependable experience for me. It's accepted almost everywhere so sending or receiving money never feels like a hassle or something I need to second-guess. Payments go through fast, the layout is simple enough to handle and it consistently does what it's supposed to do without problems. It also gives me a strong sense of security which matters a lot when handling money online.
Cons
The part that bothers me most is the fees because they can build up fast if you use the service regularly. It can also feel somewhat limiting at times especially with fund holds or account restrictions that aren't always explained very clearly. On top of that, the interface can feel a little awkward when trying to track down certain transactions or account settings. It gets the job done overall but it isn't always the clearest or most flexible platform to work with.

“Poor fraud protection”
Pros
Paying online for purchases, goods and services only takes a few clicks which does make things simpler. The click-to-pay process is simple.
Cons
Protection against fraudulent sellers is basically useless. Despite PayPal claiming you are covered, it did not protect me from scam sellers at all. Compared with using a credit card, it feels completely rubbish.

“Supports multiple currencies”
Pros
Setting it up takes very little effort and it works well for sending and receiving payments worldwide. Since I freelance, the instant invoicing feature saves me a lot of time and having support for multiple currencies is a big plus. The mobile app runs well and payments usually go through quickly.
Cons
Fees can get pretty expensive especially when dealing with international transfers. Support is also slow to respond and there are times when accounts get held or frozen without a clear reason which is really frustrating when your work depends on being paid on time.

“effective solution for freelancers and online sellers”
Pros
It's biggest advantage for me is how fast payments come through and how much trust the brand already carries. A lot of customers are familiar with it and that recognition can really help boost checkout conversions. Being able to get paid quickly without having to handle card details directly also makes day-to-day operations simpler for freelancers, online sellers and service-based businesses.
Cons
the fees can add up quickly especially when margins are tight or when dealing with international payments. On top of that, account limitations, disputes or reserve holds can cause real friction when cash flow timing matters.

“Top-tier customer support and usability”
Pros
Customer support, usability, invoicing and customization have been some of the strongest parts of this software for our team. Those are easily among the best features it offers us.
Cons
The processing and transaction fees are on the expensive side and there are times when security feels a bit concerning. Still, when it comes to business transactions, we personally have not run into any actual problems overall.

“Laid out clearly”
Pros
Everything on the web version is laid out in a really clear way so it's simple to see what's been paid out and what's been refunded. Being able to connect a feed to Xero that sends everything across is a big plus as well and I really appreciate that. It's also helpful that you can tell which account a payment came from when a client uses more than one bank account. The reports are detailed too which is useful.
Cons
One thing that's missing for me is a running balance showing what has been sitting in PayPal or the holding accounts, beyond just the current balance. That makes it difficult to go back and check whether something from the past is correct. There are reports that show all transactions but they take a bit of time to work out and understand.

“premium interface”
Pros
Accessing it is not hard and the interface feels premium while staying simple. The level of protection it provides also feels very high-end and reliable.
Cons
Some of the fees for transferring money out quickly are not ideal. I also wish the PayPal debit card came in more colors and design options.

“one of the best financial tools I've used”
Pros
It has been one of the best financial tools I've used. Between PayPal Credit, Pay Later, expense management integrations, invoicing features, payment options and the overall user-friendly setup, it covers just about everything I need. Honestly I have very little to complain about.
Cons
At times the connection to their credit service can be painfully slow even though it usually works in the end. I've also noticed occasional long delays after submitting a payment.

“Friendly design and lasting quality”
Pros
The build quality feels solid and the product seems made from materials that are meant to last. It also does what it promises in a way that matches the advertising which is something I really appreciate. The design is user-friendly and looks polished making it appealing and practical for the people it's meant for. A lot of customer feedback seems to repeat the same points too especially around the common strengths and complaints people keep mentioning.
Cons
It has a reputation for freezing accounts or putting holds on funds without any warning beforehand. If a "permanent limitation" happens, the money can end up locked for as long as 180 days which can seriously hurt cash flow for a small business.

“practical for everyday payments”
Pros
From what's widely reported and commonly seen, it comes across as a convenient and dependable option for day-to-day transactions. While this isn't based on personal use, the overall picture people give is that it works reliably and is practical for everyday payments.
Cons
A lot of the criticism around it tends to focus on control and fees. One of the most common frustrations is having an account limited or temporarily frozen. Its automated system can mark activity as suspicious and when that happens, access to your funds may be restricted for several days or even longer while the review is happening. Not being able to immediately access your own money is something many users complain about.

“Responsive customer service”
Pros
I found it easy to use. I can handle my accounts directly from it and keep all my invoices in one place which is really convenient. It also makes setting up payments and getting paid much simpler. Since the app itself is free, it offers a lot of value and while there are a few fees here and there, they are pretty minor. I also appreciate that it keeps my data private and secure so I feel confident my information is protected. On top of that, customer support responds quickly and has always been friendly and helpful.
Cons
I experienced a few bugs when sending invoices but customer support has always taken care of those without much trouble.

“fast payouts and broad acceptance”
Pros
Receiving and withdrawing money through it has been one of the best parts for me. Payments usually arrive fast and moving the funds to my bank account is pretty simple. It's also accepted in so many places which makes it convenient and getting started with it is simple.
Cons
There are times when small fees apply when sending or receiving money which can be a little annoying. Customer support also isn't always quick to respond and occasionally a transaction gets reviewed which means access to the money can be delayed.

Pros
It has been really good for handling money and the fact that it is free is a big plus. It keeps all of my information saved which makes things more convenient. When I needed to contact customer support, they were friendly, seemed genuinely concerned about the issues I was having and were very willing to help get everything resolved.
Cons

“can't do without it”
Pros
What really helps with Shopify is how convenient the checkout feels for customers. I've lost track of how many times I've abandoned an online purchase on other sites just because they didn't accept PayPal and I couldn't be bothered to grab my card.
Cons
PayPal fees can be far too expensive compared with my in-store card machine. In some cases, the charges are nearly 600% higher than what I pay through my card terminal.

“No need to type card details everytime”
Pros
Its really easy to use and it's accepted on just about every site I shop on. Not having to type in my card information over and over is a huge plus since it makes checkout faster and adds an extra sense of security.
Cons
Instant transfer fees to a bank account can start to add up after a while and there are times when the buyer protection process takes longer than expected to get sorted out.
